@ Amy99s: That is correct. You pay $1.99 – use your $1.00 Q. Then, the machine will spit out a $2RR. I did this deal the other day, and it worked just fine.
Went to Walgreens last night to use the 15% off coupon and give them 1 more try before totally writing them off. As usual, they had virtually none of the sale items in stock (including the Carefree), no Q books and checking out was a problem. I’m a permanent CVS girl!!!
I went last night to do the Walgreens deal and the best thing is that they took the 15% off before coupons so for example Theraflu was $4.25 then used the Walgreens coup and IP – just a $.25 and got $3 RR back!
I tried to use the $1 off coupon and a manager told me that I could not use it when I was getting register rewards for the purchase price. Said that would make it more than free and that is wrong. He went on to say how there are ‘people’ out there who sit around figuring out ways to cheat manufacturers by finding ways to get their products for more than free. I was so offended, I really wanted to go off on him. I am so tired of dealing with Walgreens. Target too, it’s always nothing but problems. I much prefer CVS!
i thought i read a post somewhere that gave a phone number to call if your RR didn’t print out. Not wags corp. but the catalina company that the RR run through. Anybody have any ideas? I cant remember which day I read it on, but it was fairly recent, when everyone was frustrated about the whole RR process, which I guess could be ANY day couldn’t it? Help?
There are some very uptight managers and cashiers out there. I think they are just jealous because they are missing out!!!
I got lucky at my walgreens. The toothbrush RR didn’t print. THe cashier called the manager and they gave me a 5dollar gift card since they couldn’t print the rr. And they were great about the 15% coupon.
If the catalina coupon does not print out try calling, have your sales receipt in hand…wait until the next day, so your transaction shows up in their system.

the ph # I just posted is the Catalina company. You may even see a contact ph # listed on the machines at your local store. It wouldn’t hurt to write that down, the next time you are in.
it might not have printed in the store because the machine ran out of paper…or the machine is broken.
once when it didn’t print and I said something about not getting it, the checker said it was broken and re-rang it up on a different machine and the RR printed right out!
