Walgreens: FREE True North Nut Snacks + Profit (9/13-9/19)
Stephanie over at Coupon Saving Game just gave me a heads up on an awesome upcoming Register Reward deal at Walgreens! Normally I don’t post about deals this far in advance, but this is definitely a deal I’m super excited about and a deal worthy of mentioning early!
The week of 9/13-9/19, Walgreens will have the True North Nut Crisps or Clusters snacks on sale for $3. The best part–they will generate a $3 Register Reward– making them FREE! Yay! And even better news, you can use the $1/1 coupon from here or the $1/1 coupon from the 2/8 SmartSource insert to make $1 purchasing these! I absolutely love these nuts, so getting them for FREE and then actually making some money back is just soooo exciting!

I tried these free from CVS a few wks ago. I bought the salsa/chips and got it free. The pistachio crisps are SO good! I tried printing the coupon though, but it said I had already printed it, but I never have and haven’t even been to their website! I wrote to them to ask if they could send me some coupons.
how do you find out about upcoming sales so early
To the Anonymous poster above – many sites post the ad scans and deals weeks in advance. If you google “Walgreens 9 6” or “Walgreens 9 13” you’ll find several sites with the ads posted. HTH
If you have a Publix, they have the Triathlon coupon booklets that have manuf coupons in them and there is a $1.50 off 1 bag of True North nut snacks in there!!!

This is a general question: I was just at walgreens and they were out of a product that had registyer rewards. I asked if they would write me a rain check but they said that they do not write rain checks for an item that gets register rewards. Is that true?

That is true, they can’t make the machine print a Register Reward after the promotion is over.
On the past I have rainchecks with the rr write on them what they do is give me the money on a W gift card.
On the bay I found coupons for 1.50for these nuts

Thanks for the heads up, sounds like a nice new yummy snack to try. I ended up purchasing the poppycock for $.24 at Walgreens a week or so ago and tried it and I couldn’t believe how good it was.
