UPDATE: Sorry, guys! It looks like they are now canceling orders and there was a mistake in the promotional credit. All I can say is that I’m very confused and I’m not really understanding what the problem is. In the email I received it states I have $15 in rewards–with no minimum purchase listed.

    I just got an email confirmation stating that my order has shipped via FedEx. I ordered a light fixture that was around $17.50 with free shipping. After the $15 cpn it was only about $2.50. My email had a tracking number and everything. I’m crossing my fingers. This light was on clearance down from almost $70. I needed a new light fixture in my hallway. Thanks for all the great tips on this site!

    Yup- canceled mine as well, so I called and he basically told me that they were getting a high number of fraudlent orders ( did not answer me exactly how they were fradulent) so they cancelled everyones orders, and offered a 20% off your NEXT purcahse- meaning you had to pay for what you ordered and could use it next go round.
    It’s not that I am upset because I did not get “FREEBIE”- it’s just I think it is rediculous a company has a promo like this, and then back peddles. I recieve an email shortly after my confirmation offering me to refer other people- and that they “would recieve a 15 dollar credit for shopping, as well as I would recieve a 15 dollar credit once they paid” it even stated ” everyone wins!” – I asked about this, and he said the entire promo had been cancelled.

    I just did this and it worked! Good thing ‘cuz I spent a bunch of time finding something that was $15 and had free shipping. Which I did — got some white LED Christmas lights — always handy! Got a confirmation — so we’ll see. Thanks Colin!

    I am in total agreement about rude Anon 12:30. Seriously….that’s like getting mad at the mailman when you get a letter saying you’ve won something! Get a life and search for your own deals. This site is FREE and only passes along info she receives. So DEAL WITH IT when you spend a few precious moments of your time to work so hard on a deal that you really don’t even need that ends up not working.

    And just on a side note people….most deals that state there’s going to be a mass give-away of anything of significant value (more than $5) typically are too good to be true.

    I would definitely report it to the BBB. Even if a company claims they made a “mistake” – by the fair trade comissions rules, they are not allowed to “bait and switch” you – ie offer a $15 credit for any purchase and then change it to a $15 credit for a $50 purchase. It is a classic scam that is considered a very serious offense in the advertising world.

    I was able to place 2 orders – in amounts OVER the $15 discount, but far less than $50 – and have received shipping confirmations/tracking numbers for both. Originally they did send a cancelation for 1 of the orders, but I called CS and they agreed to ship it with the discount. That was a lovely gesture, but overall, what a marketing nightmare and CS this has been!

    Just got off of the phone with CSN. They will not budge. $15 credit is gone. Only thing they offered was my item at 20% off. So frustrated because I purchased an item over $15 that did not have free shipping. I didn’t do anything wrong. Grrr!

    I ordered the free 6 in 1 game box and this is the email they sent me…no cancellation though. Anyone else get this email before they cancelled??
