I have the $10 off $10 card from the mail that has this code on the back of it. There are restrictions – I already used it in store today, otherwise I’d tell you guys what they were.
I remember it saying something like: not valid on Price Right (or something like that), “2 for” deals, small electrics, electronics, cosmetics, jewelry, Sephora… there might be other restrictions but that’s all I remember. I’m pretty sure that clearance was eligible.
I scored a gingerbread house kit for $5, marked down from $29.99 to $14.99-$10.
I’m doubtful that there will be a whole lot of REALLY good deals that will still be worthwhile after paying shipping. My two cents…

I scored 6 placemats in demask burgandy for exactly $10, with $5.95 shipping. It says S/H is TBD (to be determined), so I just looked at my online statement and it came up $5.95.
I needed a gift for a good friend who invites our family to spend Christmas Eve with her family every year. I wanted to get them a game they could play as a family (they have teenagers). They love The Office, so I got them Clue – The Office Edition. It was $22.41 ($24.99 – $10 + 5.95 S&H + 1.47 tax).
I checked the box to save $10 on this order and signed up for JC Penny Fun Family Rewards. It says my “rebate voucher” will be emailed. Does anyone know – is this $ that has to be spent on a future order at JC Penney’s?

It’s on my way to most everything, so the savings is worth it to me. You know us coupon freaks can do a lot with $1.45, LOL!

Does anybody know how long this promo goes for? I saw a thing on there that said if you signed up for their emails you can get 5 dollars off your next order. I called the cust service on how to get the 5 off and they said it will show up in my email from 4-10 business days. I hope the code will still work and that the 5 off is additional to that. It would be awesome because the 10 can pay for my order and the 5 can pay for shipping. Wishful thinking, but I hope so!
The code I got in the mail said I could use it any day until Dec 24th! Hopefully the online code will be good just as long.
Has anyone ever had a problem with not getting their cashback from ebates when using a JCP code? I contacted customer support because I didn’t receive credit for an order placed on 10/26. They said that because I used a non-ebates coupon code (the SWEETS4U $10 off $10 code) it overrode my eligibility to receive the 3% cashback. If that’s the case, then I guess the orders I placed the last two days aren’t going to earn cashback either. 🙁
Received a notification from JCPenney today for each of my three orders. It said each order had been applied to my credit card and shipped today! Yay! I’m so glad it all worked!
Ordered the A-Line Pea Coat in black $200 on sale for $34.95. When I got to the confirmation page, it said it was not available. I changed the shipping address to deliver to the store and suddenly, it was available. I’m pretty excited about that!!! I used the $10 off & signed up for the $10 off purchase w/30 day trial. I’ve done this before, with other things, and I just put a reminder on my phone to cancel a few days before the date. I also put the phone # & info, so I don’t have to try to find it later.
Ordered 2 towels and used the coupon code. Then I decided I should have gotten a few more, so I went back on-line and ordered 2 more towels. Then at 7:30pm I got a harassing phone call from the JCPenney customer service that I shouldn’t have used that code more than once. I was so apalled by their attitude that I just told them to call both orders and forget the whole thing. I don’t think I’ll ever shop at JCPenney again! What a horrible experience. I still love this blog though!
