Off topic, but nowhere to put this. Remember the big “Pink Cookware” discussion a few months back where we were supposed to be entitled to the pink cookware set when we bought the Olay Eye Roller, Pantene shampoo and Herbal Essences at Rite Aid?
I got a letter in the mail today that I am not eligible for the cookware because Rite Aid is not a participating retailer in the promotion. 🙁
Just a heads up because I remember it was a huge discussion whether or not Rite Aid was participating, and whether or not they would take copies of the receipt.
Didn’t someone specifically call them and ask if rite aid was participating and they said they were? What the hay!

I can complain because this is a free country where I can express how I feel.. freely. You recieved your package from them, OF COURSE you aren’t complaining. Imagine me rolling my eyes now.
I called about the pink cookware and they said that Rite Aid dropped out of this. I said well I called before I send my receipt in and the woman told me that Rite Aid was participating and she said well they dropped out of it but if you want to do this offer, you can do it again up until next month and your local grocery store but she didnt even know which grocery stores are participating so she said she would call me back in 24 hours to let me know.
Just a suggestion-
If you create a collage in Picassa 3, you can use it on the mug. It’s a free program from Google. I was able to create a collage using 6 photos and change all pictures to B & W. I then uploaded the collage into photoworks. So I got 6 photos on 1 mug at the promo price. It turned out GREAT!

My 12 yo is obsessed with wrestling and got to meet Mick Foley at an event last summer — I got him a mug with that pic on it. The free customizations really made it look great. I think he is going to be psyched!!
Be careful with Photoworks. I ordered a free photo book a couple of weeks ago. I obsessed over making that book and VERY carefully proofed every page. Well, they were having all sorts of problems on the site and I ended up with one page that has two glaring errors (which weren’t there when I proofed it). Fortunately, I’m not giving the book as a gift, but I’m still not happy with the company.

I ordered 5 mugs (2 different designs I made) in one transaction. At first, it kept the tax on there, but when I went to actually pay, the tax dissappeared. I paid $25 for 5 mugs shipped!!! Yeah, I even did myself a mug of both my kids (2 and 4 years) of b&w photos I took of each of them when they were babies. That way I can see both their baby pictures side by side every morning. : )
I kept getting the Page Not Found error and just click on your web browser to Go Back a page ( the left arrow usually on upper left of your browser). Then try try again until it takes.
Oh my goodness…I LOVE PhotoWorks…my photobook turned out amazing, and I can’t believe it was free. I ended up buying another one…they are SO worth it. Very high quality and well made. I have been happy with everything I have gotten so far from PhotoWorks and I have found that their customer service is great too (you actually get to talk to a REAL person when you call!!)

Oh dear, I did the P&G pink cookware with Rite Aid receipts, too. It’s funny . . . About the P&G pink cookware offer – I also got the letter today and called about it. I was told that Rite Aid backed out of it, so they were giving all of us that bought the items at Rite Aid another chance to get them at a different store. I was told that Target and Walmart were 2 store that were participating, but she didn’t know of any others. Good luck!
