  1. Monique Rizzo

This is probably a dumb question, but I am just starting to get into walgreens deals. Can I do ALL the deals I want in one transaction and ALL the register rewards will print at that time or do I need to do each one seperately?? Thanks for the help.

    • Stacy

You can only do one deal in one transaction, for that item. For example, if you want to do the Niveal body wash and Nyquil you can ring both up in one transaction and get RR for both deals. You could NOT buy two bottles of Nivea and get RR for both bottles. I hope this makes sense. I made every mistake possible the first time I went to Walgreens and learned that if I had read Collin’s Walgreens 101 before I went, I wouldn’t have made those mistakes. It’s not so bad once you get the hang of it. I just started this past Black Friday and am amazed at all I have saved. Good luck!!!

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I purchased the Revlon Color Burst Lipstick yesterday and received a $5.00 off RR towards my next Revlon purchase. Does anyone know if you buy the mascara or another lipstick and use the $5.00 Revlon RR to pay for it, if you will get another $5.00 Revlon RR?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m pretty sure it does not roll.

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have been driving all over town looking for some more $1/1 Maybelline coupons from last week’s RP but can’t seem to find copies anywhere! Does anybody know where I can get some? Maybe a website I can print them off of? Thanks.

  4. Bonnie

I’m so sad about the “deals” this week. Nothing too appealing for my family and I have a lot of RR that expire today! So I’m off to buy stuff I don’t need ๐Ÿ™

Does anyone else run into this – this is probably the 3rd time for me!

Also, I’ve been having problems using the Target manufacturer coupons around here too – no one will take them (Wal Mart especially!). I think I’m going to be contacting some corporate headquarters!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bonnie,

I was just thinking the same thing and wondering if anyone has this problem with the Walgreens RR’s expiring. I remember reading something Collin wrote about getting things you don’t need/use and donating them so I guess that’s a good way to use expired RR, especially if you use them on deals where you’ll be getting RR back. So then with the RR you get again, hopefully next week there will be something that we want/need. =)

But i completely understand, sometimes I even forget to use them and they expire then I’m kicking myself!!

      Nancy

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I cannot find the Stacy’s Pita Chips coupon! I’ve used a couple of different zips and it’s not on there. ๐Ÿ™

  6. Carrie

WAGS makes me nuts! Nine times out of ten I am not able to use a manufacturer’s coupon with the coupons in the Monthly coupon booklets, Diabetes and You, etc. I always hand over the manufacturer coupon first (say from the Sunday paper or coupons.com) and then the January coupon booklet (for example) and it always beeps. Then they tell me that I can’t do both because the coupon booklet coupon states it is paid by the manufacturer.

I’ve noticed that things ring up the following way:
    -WAGC (in-ad coupons)
-MFGC (coupons from coupon booklets & Register Rewards)

My question is, do you need to throw in a filler item when you are using a MFR coupon and a WAGS booklet coupon to avoid beepage since they both are coded the same way (MFGC) on the receipt?

For example a month or so ago I bought the Sonicare toothbrush. I used the MFR $10/1 coup from the paper and then tried to use the WAGS coupon from the December coupon booklet and they wouldn’t let me. I wonder if it was because I had one item and two coupons that ring up as MFGC. Any ideas? I am nervous to shop there because there is ALMOST ALWAYS drama at the register, like I am darn theif! I really wish WAGS had a written coupon policy like Rite Aid.

  7. dawn

was at walgreens today and seen the aquqfresh oothpaste for 3.29,, minus the 2.00 off Q in the add plus .75 off Q from 1/3 insert would make it only .54

  8. Samantha

Are any of the Planter’s nuts included in the Keep the Jingle rebate? I went to the website, but couldn’t find a list.

I bought cans of the cocktail and honey roasted nuts at WAGS today and want to make sure all qualify for the rebate!

    • Stacy

I think all Planter’s nuts are included. My rebate form says planters nuts. I bought the same nuts at Walgreens today and all it says on the receipt is planters nuts. So…I think we’re good.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, they’re included. Just bought 10 cans today for $4.90 OOP (used 5, $1/2 manufacturer’s Q’s from a store flyer at the local grocery store, plus the $1/1 Q from the Diabetes and You magazine, which deducted $10). Will get $10 MIR! $5.10 money-maker, woohoo!

      • Tina

I just could not get hold of a Diabetes book. Can anyone please be kind enough to share the code on the peanut Q.. May be the cashier qould key in the code? Thanks a million

        • anon

          000000050852

          • Tina

            Thanks

  9. Amber Jones

I tried to do the Campbell’s Chunky Soup WAG q and it beeped when it rung up. The cashier said it wasn’t for the microwaveable containers, just the cans (the coupon you mentioned is for the micro cont.). Has anyone else had this problem?

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am so glad I found your site!! Wanted to let you know that I tried the Accu-Check deal- was going to donate to Haiti and the cashier wouldn’t let me. Bummer!! Still got to donate other things ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Has anyone done it successfully??

    • Kelly

Didn’t work for me…I think it will only work if you find a young man:)

  11. Jen

I signed my husband up for the Wet Ones pledge from a different computer with a different e-mail account and the coupon that printed out was only for $.75 instead of $1.50. Did this happen to anyone else? What the heck!

  12. Jessica

Just wondering if anyone else got rainchecks for the Aquafina and if the RR is still printing when you buy the $20 worth?? Thanks

  13. Kristen

I was able to do the accu-check deal. $9.99 coupon for the meter, and then $5 coupon from Diabetes & You. The overage went to my other items, but the checker told me that next time I have to give my store coupons first. So, I haven’t repeated the transaction even though I have a second coupon. ๐Ÿ˜›

  14. queenthatiam

thanks, I was looking for a way to do Deal Scenario #2: (This scenario is only for those of you who have not yet submitted for the $10 Nabisco Keep the Jingle in Your Holiday Rebate Offer found here)
    Buy 10 Planterย’s peanuts
Use 5 $1/2 coupons from the 12/13 SS
Use the $1/1 coupon from the Diabetes and You Booklet (will deduct $10)
    Pay $4.90
    Get back a $10 rebate
Final Cost FREE plus a $5 moneymaker!

Now if I can find my MQ as wel as find if the Planter’s peanut are still in stock. If so, this deal will be great for me, because I will used the $5 overages from the Accu-Check to help cover the cost. O, will I need to pick up a cheap filler, like maybe a piece of carmel candy that they keep at the front checkout?

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

collin i was trying to do a few of the walgreens deals for this wk but i went to 3 different walgreens and didnt see any…example the Jergens 2/$12 or the john frieda but one get the 2ns one 50% off……so i was just wondering where do you look at for those type of deals that are not in the weekly ad….???
    thanks ………..
