Does anyone know Kroger’s coupon policy? I went shopping there on Friday and when I was checking out they said they would only accept 2 internet coupons per transaction. Their new Internet coupon policy was handwritten on a post it note and posted at the registers!!?? I had the cashier cancel my transaction since I had about 30 internet coupons to use in conjunction with their Mega sales event. I contacted corporate office via email and have yet to hear anything. I am very frustrated since Kroger has become my main grocery store and I’ve been able to score a lot of deals there. Any info would be appreciated.

I just used about 20 internet coupons at Kroger yesterday. May be a new thing.

I successfully used many IPs in one transaction(definitely more than 8). However, the cashier said that they do NOT accept ‘smartsource’ qs..cos they are not legit. Ouch! Has anyone had a similar experience?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had something similar happen to me a couple of weeks ago at a different store. The store manager had a mutli-page printout about some SmartSource coupons not being legit. She checked every single coupon I used (SmartSource and others) against her list, and although she accepted all of them, she was very reluctant to do so. She kept asking me from what sites I had printed the coupons and basically made me feel like a criminal. I was so embarrassed that we went to a different store last week.

i have not heard of such craziness!!! bummer ;o(

I was there last night and used about 30 to 40 internet coupons and had no problem.

I am very very new to coupons and would love to get this deal on ALL & the Triscuits but don’t understand the lingo in the post. Where do I go to get the coupon? it says “1/3RP ” I went to Jan 3 page and didnt see anything….Hellllppppp..lol

    • Janet

1/3 RP means Red Plum Instert from the date Jan. 3. They’re found in the Sunday paper. So if you still have the Red Plum insert check to see if you have it in there. I was unlucky and didn’t get this coupon 🙁 Bummer! Life goes on though. haha.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have some are we allowed to trade?

Rotel is part if the Mega sale at Kroger this week. If you buy 10 mega sale items Rotel is only $.50 per can. If you use the coupon from the All You mag there you might can get a better deal.

Thanks for posting the Walmart coupon policy. I have shopped there with coupons before, but this last visit to the Newburgh, NY one the cashier was extremely rude on top of refusing to accept my internet coupons. She told me they stopped taking internet coupons a month ago, but there were no notices posted in the store about it. I am taking a copy of the coupon policy with me next time for sure!

For all of those people that hosted or attended a Digiorno pizza party, the $4.00/1 Digiorno pizza coupons will come in handy. FREE!!!

  9. Dani

Just fyi on the Digiorno pizza…there was no sales tag at my store and it was priced at 4.98. So, I scanned it in the aisle and it came up 3.97.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My RP 1/3 coupon is only for $1. Are the amounts regional?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The coupons from 1/3 sunday paper are $2. off/1& my manufacturers is $1/any

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My all coupon from RP says $1 off 1 also… Ol’ well….still not bad….

  12. Tara

just so everyone knows that stores may have corp policies that allow internet coupons however it is up to the store manager to decide how many and if the coupon is legit, unless otherwise stated in the corp policy. hth!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was at a Jewel a week or so ago and they were not going to accept my internet coupons because they said they were having troubles with fraudulent coupons lately. They said my coupons were not from the internet they were copies, because they were in black and white and internet coupons are usually in color! . They ended up taking my coupons after I insisted that I had printed them using the black and white setting and had not made copies. I love the idea of couponing, it’s just the unfriendly reactions I’m getting have been leaving me paranoid…
