Woo Hoo! Beginning today, Hot Prints is offering FREE photo books with full-page photo layouts (even better than the photo books I posted previously); they have also introduced several new themes including a baby and wedding theme! Keep in mind that if you have already created a photo book this month, then you may not be able to create another until March.
How can they afford to do this? Well, they actually have advertisers sponsor the books. They sponsor the books by putting paper advertisements in the shipment of the Hotbook…. but no worries, there will be NO ads attached to the Hotbook!

Just got my Christmas HotBook that I made the 1st of Feb, got it the 16th so that was fast and it turned out soooo cute and being FREE was sooo nice, my hubby was surprised especially since I’m not that computer savy and all but I did it!!!! Thank u again Collin…
is this site secure, so noone can see your photos
FYI – The sponsors ad’s ARE inside the hotprint book, its the Center page which can easy be removed without any damage to the book. I made one in January and they sent me TWO free, of the same book. Both had a center insert with a Hotprint Ad.
I get an error message, “502 Bad Gateway”. What does this mean?

yes i had issues so i just uploaded the pics i wanted and used my facebook account. worked like a charm!
Now i have my wedding book!!!
Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of pages for this free book? I didn’t have any trouble uploading pictures but it did take a LONG LONG time to upload (like 1 hour)!!!
I was only able to down load 5 photos in an hour. I got the 502 bad gateway once. I’ll try again later.
I think you can do 16 pages. I’ve been having trouble uploading photos too…the website must be bogged down today. It is taking a lot longer than I would like to upload, but I think it will be worth it. My house is getting nice and clean while I wait. 🙂
i keep presing refresh after my pictures are up loaded and it will upload them all the way for me then i can chose the pics i want.
I’m having a hard time with my photos too. It’s loading half of the photo…then moving on to the next photo. Strange. Maybe too busy?
I’ve made 3 books with them so far. They go really slow around the begining of the month because a lot of people are making books. I’ve also noticed when they get posted on sites like H2S they go slower because of the number of people on the site. If you wait a day or two it goes much faster I have found out.

Just realized that I ordered one Feb. 2nd so I can’t get it for free, I’ll have to wait ’til March 2nd since only one free a mo. Maybe you did the same?
Make sure not to check the button that says “pay for this order” if you do it costs 6.98!

I just got the one I made, but I can’t remember if I made it the end of January or the beginning of this month. I guess if you’ve made one for this month it won’t come up free?
Just log in, there’s a “my books” tab click it, it’ll tell you what day you made your book.

I got one for Jan and Feb and they both arrived within 2 weeks of order. They are cute. I am super excited about these new full page pics! I have to wait till March 1st to order mine though. Guess I will be busy taking some new pics of the kids until then!
I wonder if we can sign up with a second computer and different e-mail address and get another book each month…has anyone tried this?

This sounds really awesome… but for the life of me, I just can’t seem to get my pictures to be the proper size. I tried making them 600 x 480 pixels, at a resolution of 300 dpi… but even THAT comes out blurry (even in the downloaded preview), and the site claims that it’s “too small.” I’m at my wits end trying to get it to work!
After I click to make my book, the next page comes up blank and won’t let me do anything. Nothing happens. Must be huge amounts of traffic on the site. Hopefully it’ll work later. My sister got one from last month and it was great. It’s going to be even better now that I can get full page pictures!!! 🙂
Anyone get an error trying to load from fb. It tells me the social networking site is experiencing problems….
