Wow that’s great and I actually need this. Both of my kids are sick and they are all stopped up. Thanks.

  2. Rachael

I have seen these deals before, but wondered if the $20 total was before or after coupons. I called corporate Wags and they told me that I had to spend $20 after coupons, so this would not work. Has anyone tried this?

    • megan

Rule 1: Wags Corp does not know what they are talking about.

It’s ALWAYS before coupons. They can’t code their registers any other way. 😉

      • jennifer

        yep

  3. Kahra

I did this deal yesterday with Dayquil/Nightquil products. They’re $5, too, and worked just fine.

  4. Lisa

I also did the day/night quil this month and it worked fine.

  5. Sophie

This is a great deal and I need these. My five year old has had pneumonia and bronchitis and respiratory issues all winter.

  6. Mrs. B

I wonder if I can use the 10RR from dr. scholls to roll this deal?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you should be able to, as long as they are different manufactures (I think that they are). just chk the manufactures name on the RR & on the box of Vicks product.

      • Mrs. B

thanks! Just went & did the deal…worked perfectly!!

  7. Tressa

Just an FYI RC Willey has the princess and the frog movie on sale today only for $8.99. I don’t know if they accept coupons but I brought the St patricks day add in to Walmart and price matched and used the $5 coupon so my final cost was $3.99 I am going to target to purchase the bandaids for the $5 rebate. I only have the target bandaid coupons so they will cost me about two bucks…so my total will be $.99 even without the tape rebate. If anyone wants to give this a try you have to buy the movie TODAY!

    • Kahra

I just threw the RC Willey ad away, ack! I didn’t even see the movie, but I’m going to go dig it out and check. That’s a great price for that movie. Thanks!

      • Kahra

Found the ad…in Utah, they’re $8.95 and the sale is until the 23rd. Blu-ray is only $14.95, so $9.95 after the coupon. Sweet!

        • Kristy

They won’t accept manufacturer’s coupons at RC willey, but the rebates do work, so those are awsome deals!

          • Kahra

You can price match at Walmart or Target if you have the ad.

  8. toph

    yes, u can!

  9. Bella

OT, but I was wondering if say, I had 2 coupons: a B2G1 free & B1G$1.50 off the 2nd…could I use both coupons for the 3 products? Hope that makes sense;)

  10. Joe Money

I tried to do this deal 2days ago and they didn’t let me use 4 $1.50 off and 2 Free Puffs coupons together.

I just came from Walgreens which I must say the one closest to my house is horrible. My coupons beeped and the cashier said she needed manager approval to push the coupons through. The manager said that it had to be the product pictured. I told her no it says any. She would not budge so I just grabbed my coupons and said never mind then and walked out. It really shouldnt be that hard. So I will go to another one when I have more time.

    • Rebekah

doesn’t that just make you crazy!! any means any ….hello…..why do i know more than you about your job…..ok i am done now:) i just hate those trips!

    • stacy

SAME exact thing- Wags told me the coupon ‘HAD’ to be on the picture- even though it says ANY vicks- so annoying.

    • Niki

Gotta hate those cashiers. I had same experience before. The coupon said “ANY” and she said No, it has to be the product as pictured. WTH….

      • Pam

I wonder what would happen if you went & got the product “pictured” and then tried to use the coupon? If the coupon didn’t work, you could DEFINITELY validate your point! That happened to me trying to the Venus razor & free Olay BW coupon at Target. I got the Total Effects BW & it didn’t work, so the cashier said, “Let’s just check if it will work if you get the one pictured.” I told her fine…what do you know…it didn’t work either!

    • Susan

I just left Wags trying to do the deal. The mgr. told me the same thing about “items indicated” were the ones in the picture. I didn’t argue b/c the cashiers were super duper nice to me. I’ll try another walgreens and see if it works. The Vicks vapor plug ins are always in use around here.

    • Lisa

Same thing happened to me today. Manager would not allow.

  12. Amy

Awesome!!! I have been waiting for any deals on these. I almost broke down and bought some last week because I used them all the last time my kids were sick. I’m glad I waited!!

  13. Tiphanie

Can you use these with a one yr old. They dont make the filters for my humidifier anymore and my baby has been sick for 3 weeks now. I was going to buy a humidifier, but this looks like a great deal.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I used this with my six month old. I believe the back of the package says something about them being okay for infants…

  14. CutsieCow

Same problem here….went to walgreens tried to use the Vicks coupons with no luck.

  15. Megan

I just came back from my walgreens. The manager did let me use the $1.50 but did not approve the Puff coupons. So I just got 4 Vicks for $4, which is a good deal. I love my walgreens. All cashiers and managers are very very nice.

  16. jc

I tried to do this deal and also
    Colgate Total Advanced 6 oz $3.99 = $3.99RR
    6 Kleenex = $3RR
but no RR print out!! none of them!
Can someone tell me what’s going wrong?
the manager explained no Colgate RR because I used $1 MC
no vicks RR because the items i bought are not on the list
i so afraid to argue about the Kleenex one.
I tried to ask if I can return the Vicks and the manager was totally out of patient to me so I choose to walked out with none RR…
am I really that a ridiculous and annoying? I question myself.
I feel so tired. very upset.

    • Tawanda!

Ask them to check their Catalina machine(the machine that prints out the RR). Sometimes they are out of paper or not turned on.

      • jc

forget it.. i guess it’s too late 🙂
I feel much better today! thanks for the concern! very touching~

  17. Sue Martin

Where do you find the coupons for Walgreens? I’m new to all this . I’m looking for the vicks and puffs coupons.

  18. Kristy

Went to my Wags yesterday, which I must say, works very well with all my coupon craziness! The last two Vicks coupons (the ones in question, that say “ANY” Vicks products) did beap on the vapor plug ins. The cashier told me that it was because they were the wrong product. So I asked her to get the manager to double check, otherwise I would get something different. The manager came up and agreed that they were for “ANY” and did the override!! The best part was, they qualify on my “Flex Spending” card, which I needed to use anyway and I got my $10 RR!! It totally depends on the Wags you go to!

  19. Sheryl

I did this “Vicks” deal today, and my coupon’s did beap. The cashier called the manager and explained everything to him and he told her to push them through. When I got home I questioned “why” the coupon’s beeped. My sister-in-law called me from another city and said she tried it and her Walgreens would not let her do the deal. So, I started reading the package…although it says Vicks on the front of the pkg. It is not made by “Proctor and Gamble”…it is made by another company using the Vicks name. I hope Walgreens will get “paid” for these coupons. I think Proctor and Gamble should honor them. Please let me know if I am wrong or right about this…Thank you

  20. Sheryl

PS….I did another deal with the cough drops…I did not have any trouble using the coupon on them…so, I read the back of the box on the cough drops and they are a Proctor and Gamble product…???

  21. Suzie

Tried two Walgreens today and neither one would take the Vicks coupons stating they were not the ones pictured.

  22. joanne

this did not work for me wags would not take the 1.50 off any vicks coupon ..i don’t understand why it works in some stores and not others. the manager stated the main branch controls the coupons they do not have to accept any coupons at all. he was very rude

  23. Kimberly D.

I did this deal today and also had the coupons beep. Although the cashier called the manager and was told to use them ~ she did let me know that she did not think they should be used along with the puffs coupons. She was very polite about it and am thankful because I have the hardest time with cashiers at the Walgreens in the area. I did not receive $10 in RR, but rather only $5. After reading the posts, I’m thankful I received any.

  24. Diane

I tried this deal today. It didn’t work for me either. If you compare the bar code on the coupon to the bar code on the product, no wonder the coupons beeped, they don’t even match. The cashier offered to have a manager come over. But I could see it wouldn’t work. I was using the 3/31/10 expiration coupons and they said any Dayquil/Nyquil product, not Vicks.

  25. Kenia

I’m still new to couponing but I think the coupons are beeping because the RR deal is only for nyquil or dayquil. My best friend is a manager at my local Wags and he said that the deal was only for the 20 ct. nyquil or dayquil or liquid, 10 oz or any vapopads but not the plug-ins or refills.

I wanted to do this deal as well, my daughter has bronchitis.

    Hope this info helps.
