FREE Biz Detergent with Big Lots Price Match!
Here’s a sweet price match deal for those of you that have a Big Lots nearby! Starting today, 3/28-4/4, Big Lots has Biz 50 oz. Laundry detergent on sale 2/$5! Head on over to Walmart or Target with your local Big Lots ad and do a price match. They should be able to honor the 2/$5 advertised price. …AND to sweeten this deal even further, use two $3/1 coupons from the 3/28 SS. The coupons will most likely have to be adjusted down, but you’ll still score yourself 2 FREE detergents!.
**Big Lots does NOT accept manufacturer’s coupons. That’s why it’s best to price match their ad at stores that do accept manufacturer’s coupons. I’ve heard mixed reports about price matching Big Lots ads at Walmart and Target. It seems some readers have success doing this, while other readers do not.
(Thanks, Who Doesn’t Love Coupons!)
I’ve not had any trouble with Target matching Big Lot’s ad’s. ty
My paper does not have a Big Lots insert, do I just go to the store?
yes, it’s best to pick it up in store since big lots doesn’t take mfc
Off topic, but has anyone seen any good deals for the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie that comes out this week? My son’s birthday is less than 2 weeks away and I know he really wants it!! Thanks!!
At Safeway: you buy the movie for $14.99 and get a free big bag of Cheetos, Reese’s Pieces (big bag) and a four pack of some kind of drink!!
That sounds awesome-but we don’t have a Safeway! What an awesome deal though!
they had a great deal on Princess and the Frog too. Buy the movie for $19.99 and get a free big Princess and the Frog cup with crown on top, a Princess and Frog coloring book w/ crayons, 6 pack of Glacier water, and Jolly Time popcorn . With my $5 off q, I got all of that stuff for $14.99! Suh-weet ๐
CVS has a deal on the Chipmunks movie the week of 4/4. If you buy $20 worth of P&G products featured in that week’s ad you get $15 off the movie with Extra Care card. The movie is priced at $19.99 – $15 = $4.99. I think it’s a pretty good deal if you buy P&G products any way.
My Walmart does not reduce the price of a coupon down if it excedes the price of an item. They just say I can’t use it! What? Oh well…I don’t usually go there anyway. Thanks for this info.
Mine just takes it – no adjusting down –
Target is not suppose to price match Big lots since it is considered a close out store
Yep, had this problem at my target and many others did too on that ALL post Collin posted. Seemed Target has lots of price match policys – including they wont do price matchs on 2/$??.?? price matches – it has to be an exact amount – like $2.50 for a product, not 2/$5 – I am guessing those who do this fine get those cashiers who weren’t told yet – lucky them ๐
I went to both Target and Walmart and they didn’t carry this UGH
i looked into this and i swear that my coupon said powder and this is for the liquid. i dont have it in front of me so i may just be crazy. of course i could have gotten more bad coupons like not getting the lysol one.
There were three coupons in a set for BIZ (at least in the SE region)…. they were $3/1 any size liquid, $2/1 50+ oz powder, and $1/1 37.5oz powder.
mine says powder as well ๐ i dont use powder but i’ll gladly go get it for free and donate it!
i double checked. mine definitely says powder. i had three as well. one BOGO, one for $3 off of 50 oz. powder and a $1 one. BUT the lady that told the deal to collin has a link on her site for $2 off any Biz product so i printed those and will price match at walmart
I went to two different targets, and either they were just mean and rude, because both said that they are not allowed to price match Big Lots, because its a close out store.
My Target wouldn’t let me price match with Smith’s Marketplace because they said they can’t price match with stores that have a rewards card. Sigh….so many limitations on their price matching. Anyone know where I can read up on ALL the limitations so I won’t keep wasting my time? Thanks.
Targets officially price match policy… (From a former service desk employee)
TARGET DOES NOT MATCH
– closeout stores (i.e. big lots or sam’s club)
– limited time offers (i.e. early bird specials or 2 day ads)
– bogo offer
– special offers (i.e. purchase a stereo and get free head phones.)
– percentage off (i.e 15% off an item)
In order to receive the price match you must:
– go to the service desk
– have the entire ad you want to match, not just a single page
– it must be the exact item (i.e. same model, size, color)
Finally, when price matching target coupons are taken into consideration. For example, if something is $3.00 at target and you have a $1.00 off target coupon, the item is considered $2.00 dollars. If you wanted to price match because the item was $2.50 elsewhere, you could not, since the target price less the target coupon is cheaper. You could not price match the $2.50 and then use the target coupon to make it $1.50. This only is in regards to Target coupons.
I am not sure that all employees follow these policies as they are supposed to, but this is the official stance from the target service desk.

Here is is from the target site. That would have saved me a ton of typing. lol
Is Biz Laundry detergent any good? Any opinions?
my Target says that they only carry the 80oz Biz detergent (anderson,sc) does anyone know of greenville stores that carry these?
Well, my Walmart will only match a competitor for the exact price, inotherwords, no b1g1,two-for, 3for a dollar or any competitors coupons. So, it has to say Biz $2.00 on sale. I still do pricematch, but it takes forever at the register. I do them all together and think I am organized with this, but the cashiers are always cashier nazi’s, and think its gonna come out of their pockets. Last week I picked a sweet looking boy….well he did all my matches wrong. I did not catch them till I got home. I went back the next day only to get lip service from customer service. This week I smartened up and checked everything as it went into the register. Every one behind me was miffed, but too bad, I save a bundle and don’t have to go from store to store. AND, a cashier actually said to me , “well how much is the walmart price?” Inotherwords, how much are u really saving………..Gerrrrrr

oops sorry for the double
The cashier at my Target (in rainy Ohio) said they cannot price match items that state “2/$xx.xx” For instance if it states $2.50, they will do it but not if it says 2/$5. Has anyone else come across this problem or know if this is in fact a Target policy? I am a HUGE Target fan but wasn’t very pleased when I left the store last night. The woman at customer service was VERY RUDE.
My target in Central Ohio will let me buy 2 for the 2 for $6 deal. I get 2 sunday papers but was able to get a 4th coupon off of my friend. So 4 Biz for free! Never tried it but it was the right price!
i dont see biz in the sale ad…? i see all and snuggle

Theres where it says the BIZ is on sale, HTH! ๐
Here is the Target Low Price Promise Policy.
I had huge issues at Walmart several weeks ago trying to price match Big Lots (detergent 2/$5)….I sent a letter to corp. and a manager called me. He said they DO price match Big Lots and especially on everyday household items! He said the only time they might not do it would be for large ticket items around the holidays…Soooo, I’ll be heading there in the a.m to get my free BIZ! Yay!
did this work out for you? i’ve always had issues price matching. i called walmart corporate, and the representative told me they would price match this.
Ugh! I’m sure it would have worked BUT I just went this morning and they don’t carry liquid Biz! They just had a $7 box of powder Biz ๐ I was so bummed! My son was laughing at me for walking in and out empty handed!
Thanks for the heads up I got some really good deals on the all last time by price matching.
I will head to big lots for the ad and then over to Wal-mart, pick me a nice little young cashier to ring me up to score me some FREE DETERGENT.
YIPEEEEEEE :o)
I got a bogo for any size liquid Biz in the NE. That’s not as good as Free but not a bad deal if you like Biz detergent.
does walmart carry biz?
All Targets in my area won’t match 2/$5 etc. deals. The said it has to be a specific price, like $2.50 each.
So crazy! When you can clearly see the price is $2.50 any way you slice it. I say we all get together and let them know they should honor 2 for $xx.xx deals :-p Hehe! They are losing business over it because I went to Wal-mart and they honored a 2/$5 deal without question.
is there a site online that I could print off a big lots add as I don’t live near one and there wasn’t one in my sunday paper?
Have not been able to find any Walmarts or Targets in Illinois (near Joliet) that carry liquid Biz. Has anyone else been able to find them?
I don’t know if its just the walmarts I have been to but they do not carry the Biz detergent they carry the Biz Bleach. And my Target wont match the price is there another place I can go that will match the price?
