The wellness+ card program is starting in my area (CA) tomorrow!
I used my wellness card 3 weeks ago at my riteaid and the lady at the pharmacy asked me how I got the card because they just found out about it that day. I told her I have had it for 3 weeks now (at that time) and have used it every time I came in for perscriptions for my family. I also told her how the recipets print coupons when you use the card too. She didn’t know that and said how nice it was of rite aid to let them know before people got their cards (sarcasticly towards riteaid, not me ) 🙂
yes wellness goes national on the 18th! I hope they dont have any problems cause i have been using mine no prob for over a month 🙂
wanted to say there was also a $2 huggies coupon from the videos at the rite aid website-can’t remember if they were last month though (but still good through this month) so if you still have those-will be $2 and change! thanks for the deals hip!
Yup, I held onto mine I got from before
There is a video value coupon good for $1 off the Natures Bounty Vitamins you could use. Or better yet there is a wellness coupon for $2 off a $5.99 or more vitamin.
Also, there is a $2 video value coupon for the BOGO Purex
thank you for the heads up on the purex coupon. it was from last month and thankfully i watched it and now printed it. thanks!
I want to say thank you to honest people!!
Last weekend my husband left my coupon book either in the grocery cart or on the ground, not sure which one. We had 2 grocery carts of items to load into our truck and we forgot the french fries inside ( the bag we bought had a hole in it and we didn’t know if it was like that when we picked it up or if we did it and they just told us to grab a new bag to be on the safe side) but we forgot to get it on the way out and so I ran back in to get one.
Well, I came out everything was loaded and so we left. A few days later I couldnt find my coupn binder. We called and they didn’t have it there. A couple days after that we called again and someone did turn it in. I was so upset thinking all was lost, all those coupons gone, all that hard work taken from me! But, someone must have realized how important it was to the person who lost it (me) and took it inside and turned it in.
I was so happy to get it back. I always make sure I have it, but that one time I didn’t check I lost it! Thank goodness for honest people!
That is wonderful!
Wow, you were incredibly lucky. I had the same incident happen (had a toddler, it was a rainy mess, left all of my coupons in the cart) but wasn’t as lucky. My coupons were not returned. I just hope someone that REALLY needed them more than me found it and were able to help themselves save much needed money with the coupons.
I live in Greensboro,NC which is one of the pilot cities for the wellness card. Don’t get too excited about it. I haven’t gotten any deals you haven’t. It’s kind of like CVS where you HAVE to use the wellness card to get the sales price; otherwise, it rings up a lot higher (I messed that up once). I’ve only earned one 10% off coupon, but I get a better deal using the $5/$25 coupon. Basically, it won’t be any different for you other than you HAVE to use the card when checking out.
I did notice that for the most part, the Rite Aid coupons that I can print out are more worthwhile than the coupons I can earn using my card.
I got some amazing deals with the wellness card, Did you use the printables on the website? Sadly now they’ve changed them to much crappier ones.
On the RefundCents website (www.refundcents.com), Tayler R. — who, like Collin, is just a wizard at putting together money saving & money making scenarios, has mentioned a scenario with the Osteo BiFlex that includes using a $5/$20 coupon from the videos. You do have to add a filler item, because she prices the O.B. that you pay for at $19.98, but after deducting the $5/$20, the two $5, and a $2 from the wellness program, your price would be about $3 for the two O.B.s. If your Rite Aid will allow you to use two of the wellness coupons (the terms state one per customer, but don’t know if they stick to that), then your cost would be 99 cents for two.
I hope that Collin doesn’t mind me mentioning Refund Cents on here (although she’s always very generous at promoting other blogs & websites), and that Tayler is okay with me passing on her hard work (she’s just as generous, so I feel pretty safe!). This sounds like a pretty good deal!
Can anyone tell me where the $2/1 for cosmetics coupon is? I can’t find a link or anything anywhere… am I blind? (We are signed up for the program…) 🙁
Click the link Collin has listed, then log in to the wellness account log in there. It should come up, if it doesn’t – after you logged in, just close the page and reclick the link collin has and it will come right up. You just have to be logged in for it to work,
Thanks! Why didn’t it do that the other FIVE times I tried?! LMBO!!
I am an experienced couponer but the B1G1 50% paired with BOGO coupon is making my head spin.
For example: Cover Girl (example price for demonstration is $5.00)
buy 1 at $5.00 then 2nd one will be $2.50.
Which one will be ‘free’ with the BOGO coupon and which one will get the other $1/1?
Hi!
I asked in the store: the guy told me, that the full price of one item will be reduced, but that i cant use an other mfq …. BUT any storeQ – means in the covergirl case: the 2/1 of any cosmetics (2.99 and up). I’m not sure, if this works, have not tried it so far.
Anybody there with more information??
are huggies overnites also on sale?
Thats a good question, that is what we need. The ad just says the huggies jumbo diapers are on sale – but aren’t the overnights diapers?? So, if they have them in jumbo size then I’d think they’d count. I really hope so
Yep, The goodnights are also on sale- If you don’t have an ad yet, you can go over to iheartriteaid to see the it. It states Jumbo Diapers and GoodNight underpants so I’m not sure if it means the goodnights are jumbo too???? From the picture it looks like the goodnights are a smaller package. I don’t have kids in diapers anymore so I don’t know much about diapers=]
I should have read that better- you said your ad only said the diapers? I wonder if there are different ads for different places? usually they are all the same, but we have many Rite Aids close to me(in OH, PA, &WV) and there have been a few times where some things were in sale in one state and not the other. Also, I’m not sure if the $3/1 huggies coupon works on goodnights too. If not, it looks like a $1.50/1 goodnight coupon will be in the sunday paper. Wow- I really wish I would have couponed way back when my kids were little=]
Thank you – but we’re not talking about the goodnight underpants, we’re talking about the huggies overnights diapers- there is a difference. The goodnights are pull ups for night time and the overnights are diapers for night time – one is for babies-toddlers and the other toddlers-on up
In all the past sales the overnights have been included. I am also hoping it is this week too.
they are usually included but sometimes not marked….with the pampers sale the overnight protection werent marked but were part of the sale. hth
does anyone know if the Olay would count as a cosmetic item for the wellness Q for $2 off?
How many times can I use the 5/20 V V coupon? It has my name on it so i really dont want to use it 15 times, unless that is allowed?
You are only supposed to use it once. They print once and then “disappear” so that you may not print them again. And, if you have been reading other posts, copying coupons is a big NO-NO. -HTH-
Call me a rebel, but I print more than one coupon… that’s the beauty of pdf’s…. as for the name, instead of putting my actual name, I put “valued customer.” Even if you did put your name, they’re not going to track you down- so don’t sweat it.
A store near me quit taking internet coupons because of this. Please don’t ruin it for everyone.
You can’t use it more than once per visit… but I’m going to print it 4 times and use it once per week!
Does anyone know how long it takes to get the “Wellness Card”?? I would like to use a Wellness Coupon but requested my card last week and have yet to receive it. Just wondering if I should hold my shopping trip off for a couple days and hope to receive the card this next week or bite the bullet and do my shopping tom as usual. TY!!
I just got my card in the mail today….. I can’t remember when i signed up though. Seems like it was a couple weeks ago.
when I signed up for my wellness card, it gave me the option to print out a temporary card… if you didn’t do that, go back to your wellness account on riteaid dot com, and see if you can print one out.
when I signed up I entered my phone # and was told that I could use that at checkout until my card came in the mail
Thank you all!! Will try to find the temp card, if not I remember entering my number. Hopefully they will know what I am talking about if I ask them to enter my number for my Wellness Card!! *laugh*
Will the Physicians Formula coupons work at Rite Aid even though they say Target?
I was just at Rite Aid and there were John Frieda, Gillette, and Old Spice product on clearance, 50% off!
When checking the rite-aid site concerning the allergy medication rebate of a gift card, it stated at the bottom that the rebate is based on actual money spent after coupons, etc. Is this their policy? Thanks
Kelly, It does specify on the rebate page that rebate is based on actual price paid after cpns are used. My rebate has cleared with price paid before cpns, and many others have posted the same. HTH 🙂
The RA coupons for Zyrtec that expired on 4/15 did reduce the price paid for the Allergy Rewards but not for the SCR. I thought that was odd that the same transaction didn’t count as much toward the Allergy Rewards as toward the SCR.
Can someone help me to understand how a B1G1 Cover Girl MQ would work with a B1G1 50% off sale? I just can’t seem to wrap my head around this one??!! TIA
One for free and one half off?
I think it depends on what you choose to purchase. You buy one item and get it for free and then have $3 towards the other item from coupons.
For example $5 cover girl with B1G1 50% one would be $5 the other $2.50.
Does the store decide you get the lesser one free from the BOGO coupon?
Assuming I have the BOGO and $1 off. I would hope to get the $5 free and $1 off the $2.50 and the use the $2 Rite Aid makeup coupon and get it all free.
Please help!
Are you not excited (highlighting in red) about any of these deals? lol.
Is the hersheys chocolate bar coupon regional – I didn’t get that one. I only got the $1/1 bagged candy. Not the $1/1 bar or bogo bar Q.
I also never got the covergirl bogo Q last week either.
me neither, bummer!
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that my Rite Aid would not take the TGIF coupon because the coupon had overage and they would not adjust it down. Also they wouldn’t take my coupon from the ALL YOU magazine for Sea Breeze b/c it said available at Walmart. I tried to explain that it says available not that you have to purchase it there but the cashier still wouldn’t take it. Hope no one has as much problems as I did.
they marked mine down, the manager said they only get reimbursed for the amount the customer pays and he said the manufacturers told him it was illigal to charge them for the value of the coupon when the customer paid less. I don’t know how it works, just what they said and he is a very nice guy and couponer friendly. I love my rite aid – he even once rung up a coupon manually I forgot (i had an expired one and the non-expired one was on my desk at home) and let me pay for everything and trusted me to come back with the good coupon. I did too!
I used two of the TGIF $1.50/1 and the register kept beeping until I pointed out the product was priced at 99-cents. Then the register let the manager adjust the coupon down so I got them for free.
ok i dont know if this will ever get answered since this is an “older” post. but i was wondering about the covergirl BOGO coupon. what ethically would be a “face” product. i mean all makeup goes on your face. i dont use cover up or anything. any help is appreciated. thanks
about the covergirl “face” products: A while back when there was the same coupon that specified “face” products, I tried to get some lip gloss, but it didn’t work with the coupon. so i got some tinted moisturizer. i didn’t try any eye items, but i assume the coupon works only for items that go on the skin of your face not including lips, eyes (i.e. for concelaer, foundation, moisturizer…).
I love Rite Aid! I was able to get one pack of huggies overnights, 6 bags of TGIF chips, and 2 packs of Purex laundry sheets for 82 cents!
How much were the purex laundry sheets?
They are 8.99 at my northwest store
Does any one have any extra of the purex 3 in 1 coupons from 4/18? I bought 3 papers and none of mine had them in it!!
hershey extra dark chocolate bars are not in the .99 sale (so i couldn’t get free with coupon) they are smaller (3.5 oz) and their regular price is more expensive than the others (2.49?) just an FYI….
Look in the ad – it states the hersheys 4 – 4.5oz candy bars are on sale this week for .99 – so they must not have marked the rack, but they are on sale. I bet if you had them ring it up it would have worked and if not show them the ad and they will rpice adjust. This is on the front page of the riteaid ad this week.
Since the ad does not exclude any hersheys bar then they are included. To bad my newspaper didnt have those coupons 🙁
No, they aren’t on sale. They are smaller than the ones stated. This deal is a no go 🙁
I also did not have any luck with the Hershey’s Extra Dark. They were priced at $2.49, $3.49 for the bag. I tried to see if they would accept the $1 off coupon for the Special Dark- but they wouldn’t take it. Oh well.
Has anyone had luck using the Physicians Formula coupon? Will it work even though it says Target?
How does the B1G1 50% work with the BOGO coupons?? For example the cover girl. Thanks!
Hi, I’m pretty new to this. I tried to do Nature’s Bounty Vitamins BOGO deal as Collin posted at my local Rite Aid. They ONLY took ONE OF my $2/1 manufacture’s coupon and told me that one coupon per customer. What would been the right response to that!? I know I shoud have been able to use 2 of $2/1 coupon for this deal.
I was able to use 2 but my Rite Aid and the manager who checked me out are very coupon friendly. If this happens to you, there is a Rite Aid coupon policy (Collin has a link to it on her Rite Aid page) that you can print out and take along. Or you can use your cell phone while there to call 1-800-RITE-AID and ask Cust Service on the spot.
Went to my Detroit area RA last night and my cashier informed me their new policy was to only accept the $5/$20 coupon AFTER any other coupons. This really is killing the deals! Has anyone else run into this?
Tommy and Erin, study and print out the Rite Aid policy. That should help you 🙂
oops, I mean print it out and take it with you when you shop. I have gotten very comfortable reading aloud the policy for the employees. What’s weird is…some of them already know the policy, they just do not agree with it…ha ha..very strange…I actually had an employee say,” I know what Rite Aid’s policy states, I don’t care what Rite Aids Policy States! 😉
The cashier at my Rite Aid made me feel like a criminal today for using a BOGO Cover Girl coupon with a $1 off coupon and a $2 rite aid coupon because according to her it’s not right that I end up getting 2 things for free. She was extremely rude and I won’t shop at that location again. When I challanged her she took tham, even called over a supervisor but didnt ask the supervisor what to do – she just took them, so I think it wasn’t a matter of not knowing what to do but rather not wanting to do it.
My TGIF coupons beeped and they would not push them through..
Mine beeped too. I pointed out that the chips were on sale so she might need to enter a reduced price. She asked another cashier and she said no.
I’m betting those are only meant to be for the frozen snacks, but they don’t specifiy…..
I had no problem using mine on the chips.
i bought today 4 packs huggies , st. ives facial scrub, 2 reeses cups, 1 bag sun chips, 1u kotex, 2 packages purex 3 in 1 for a total of $7.09. i thought i got some pretty good deals considering 1one packs of diapers cost more than this. woohoo
I wasted my TGIF coupons and Walgreen’s last week and paid a bit OOP, but for anyone who still has them, but 3 and the register SHOULDN’T (doesn’t mean it won’t), beep. You’re still $0.03 short on the 2 coupons, so it may beep, but hey, 3 is better than 2, right?
Boy, should I proof read, or what? lol
I just read the replies and thought I’d answer the question on the BOGO half off on Cover Girl.
When combined with a BOGO coupon, you will get the more expensive one free, and you’ll split the cost of the 2nd one with the store. For example, if you purchase 2 $20.00 pieces (I will, that mineral make-up is expensive), you’ll get 1 completely free, then you’ll owe $10.00 on the 2nd item. From here, you can subtract further coupons like the $1.00/1 or the Video Value coupons (am I wrong, there is one on Cover Girl isn’t there?), or the wellness coupon. You can even subtract $5.00 off a $20.00 or $25.00 Rite Aid purchase if you’ve gotten your total high enough. The $25.00 is probably the better choice because they won’t give you huff over using the video value coupons. You’ll need a filler to use that coupon, but a cheap one and you’re all set. It makes for some cheap make-up!
As far as what constitutes a face product, it’s officially, foundations, powders, blush, concealer, that type stuff. Lips and eyes are not in the line-up OFFICIALLY. I’d read about an awful lot of people buying from all 3 categories the last time around. So, it’s probably a YMMV scenario. Just be prepared to tell them you don’t want it if they’re not going to allow you to use your coupons. To me, if it’s make-up, it goes on the face!!! My eyes are on my face and my lips are as well (and I hope yours are too). I guess everyone doesn’t live within my shallow definition, though.
I tried using the BOGO coupon yesterday for CoverGirl and it did not go well at all! I had assumed that one would be free (from the manufacturer) and that I would be charged 50% for the second item. Well, for their promotion, the computer charges 50% for the less expensive item and when I gave my coupon, it also automatically takes off the lesser valued item, which of course was the 50% off item! Which basically means that only my BOGO free coupon was of any use and the store promo did nothing for me. I even called 1-800-riteaid to ask if this was correct policy and they said it was! I’m very surprised because with my coupon, only the manufacturer benefits from the store promo!
The Rite Aid in Upstate NY didnt take the TGIF Chips coupon (they said the coupons doesnt scan) and also they didnt take the NYC nail polish coupons either (they said I had to choose one of the nail polish coupons not both).
Don’t forget the March video values Qs for Purex 3in1 ($2) and for Nature’s Bounty Vitamins ($1)! Stack your manufacturer’s and your video value Qs with the BOGOs on these items and include your $5 off 25 Q! Great Deal!!!
where’s the $3 off $15 wellness coupon collin has a link to on the Avitar deal??

I went to Rite Aid to get the U tampon deal, but the were all gone. So my back up was I have some Tampax Pearl Coupons that expire on the 30th. They have them for sale $5.29 I got 2 packs and used my $2 off and my B1G1. Made them $1.64 each. Not bad.
Same here.. did not take my TGIF coupons. said thata since it is a internet coupon they cannot bring it down to 0.99 cents.
