Yes I think he would be just about to old for it my 2 1/2 year old has it and still plays with it some but is really out grown it. Cute toy for someone younger.

Off topic but the other day I was reading a lot of the comments regarding families budgets and someone had wrote where to send expired coupons for our military families. Does anyone have any info on this. I would like to start doing this along with clipping ones I dont personally use that may be useful to seomeone else. Thanks for your help 🙂

The Fridge Farm is super cute and the ABC Fridge Phonics toy is awesome. My nineteen month old loves it and has learned much (not all…yet) of the ABC song from this toy. She just can’t be trusted with all 26 letters or she loses them. I give her four letters at a time.
We also have the Leapfrog fridge DJ radio toy which my 19 mo girl loves. The 40 percent off sale today and the coupon combo will work for any Leap fridge toy and I recommend the ABC Fridge Phonic toy and the radio DJ toy. Both should be pretty cheap after the coupon.
My toys r us in Idaho Falls, Idaho will not take the Hasbro Coupons with the games. They said corporate and Hasbro called and told them not to take them. Lets just say they have a lot of games still left on their shelves. I Have done it before with no problems. Oh Well, they lost some of my money!!!
I am in Idaho Falls too. I took my ad and coupons to Target, the have a great sale on the same games, but the ones that were higher they price matched for me. I didn’t get the free plush, but some of the games gets you a free Monopoly card game, so it worked out okay for me.
When store employees stay stuff like this I just want to laugh. Can you all imagine Hasbro actually calling each individual TRU store? That’s silly. It’s like a game of “telephone” where corporate says one thing and by the time it gets down through the levels it’s something totally different; and every employee on the “front lines” has a different version. I have been on those front lines myself so I know it is not easy; I think the fault lies with the corporate level and some of the management for not training properly, and of course you always have a few cashiers who just don’t care.
My 2 year old got the fridge farm second hand from his cousins about 9 months ago. We are missing some of the pieces but he still loves it. I can’t wait to get a new one so he can finally make a whole animal! ha ha I think I’ll get one for my niece as well – you can’t go wrong with these!

I just got back from Toys R Us. I got there as soon as they opened because I wanted to get the fridge toys. I was able to get the Fridge Wash&Go Vehicles, Fridge Farm & Fridge Phonics ABC’s. I got all 3 of them for $14.46 total with tax because I had a $5/$25 TRU coupon. I actually did the deal twice because I had another $5/$25 coupon and wanted to get a set for my nephew and then a set for my mom to have at her house for my nephew. These toys are sooo cute. My son had them when he was little and loved them. Perfect to keep them busy in the kitchen when you are making dinner.

I just got back from TRU! I got 2 Mr. Potato Head (1.99 each) used coupon. Fridge Phonics Leapfrog (on sale 12.59, used $5 off coupon) for $7.59. I also got Chunk the dump truck from Tonka (reg. $32.99, on sale 24.74 used $10 off coupon from the same page as Mr. Potato Head) for $14.74. $70 worth of Easter Basket toys for $30!!! No problem with coupons the sale person was impressed. Love coupon transactions that go smooth!!!
If you are going to the Midrivers mall dr. toys r us in st. peters, mo for the mr potato head don’t bother. they sold out in the first hour they were open, I was a little miffed. no rain checks. I asked.boo hoo

For anyone who has bought the elefun, gator gulf, or hungry hippo at toys r us, check your receipts. I bought a few yesterday and a few today at the one in concord, nc and each game rang up $1 to $2 more than they should have. My reciept showed the sale price under the item, but off to the right where it shows how much they charged you, they charged $15 for the gators and $14 for the other two. The customer service had no idea why and it took about 20 minutes for them to correct each one individually on the receipts. Just a heads up, since I didn’t even realize it yesterday.

MGT @TRU said no internet coupons at location. Corporate put out an e-mail to all stores b/c they have been getting so many fraudulent coupons. Anyones else experience this? Or know where I can get a copy of the coupon policy?

GRR strike 2 today! TRU wouldn’t take internet coupons and target wouldn’t price match b/c it was a 2 day sale… Heading to walmart for a third attempt.
I price matched the gloworms at Walmart today without any problems! Scored two for $2.99 each! There wasn’t ONE Mr Potato head toy in the entire store though… I’ve never had a problem at walmart with coupons or price matching…
Scored big time at Toys r us. My store (concord, NC) took the internet coupons without a problem. I was able to get 9 habro games, and with seperate purchases and using the giftcards from some transactions towards others (i bought 4 yesterday and three today) and 2 $5/25 coupons, spent $20 OOP plus still have $15 in gift cards left and will get $17 in rebates! My store also had all of its seventh generation cleaning products for 1.99 and a sale thru 4/6 when you spend $30 on 7th generation get $5 off. I combined this with 10 coupons I was able to print on their sight (5 coupons / 2 each) and 3 $1 coupons from the paper a couple weeks ago to get 16 products for $11 and I will be able to get the $5 rebate (that was listed under info for target on collin’s website).
I had a great shopping experience the last two days which is good because I had all but given up on toys r us a few months ago!

I got 5 of the games and 1 of the leap frog fridge toys and after coupons and gift cards and rebates my total was 18.00! Those leap frog toys are well worth the 5.00. I am going back tomorrow to get more. My son LOVES it!
Well I was able to get the Mr. Potato Head deal tonight…actually it’s a Mrs. Potato Head (perfect for my daughter) and it was the LAST ONE on the shelf! Paid $2.30 total 🙂 But unfortunately they were pretty cleaned out of the Hasbro games so I just grabbed a rebate paper off the tear pad and hoping they fill the shelves back up or I’ll just have to miss out on that awesome deal. 🙁
yes, babies r us does have the same items and they are also on sale, and yes, they took the internet mannies no prob. scored 2 gloworms. i actually bought one recently from kohls for 10$, but it will be going back!
I’m wondering if anyone else had problems with internet coupons, because I sure did! TRU told us that they wouldn’t accept internet coupons, and that they really only need to accept TRU coupons when pressed about the issue. I was trying to buy the Leapfrog toy and told them that it was a manufacturer’s coupon from their website, but still no luck. Did anyone else have this problem??

I printed 2 coupons for the leap frog fridge toy then went to Toys R Us and got one for my daughter and one for my nephew for easter. It’s a good item since they’re both 17 months old! With tax I paid like $11.64 for both. It’s a great deal!! I’ve been waiting for those to go on sale since Christmas.
