Do you have a Subway Rewards card? If not (and if you’re near a Subway that participates), then you’ll definitely want to head to Subway and sign up! Currently, you can only sign up in participating stores– not Online. Subway Rewards Cards are currently available in participating Subway restaurant locations in Florida, Ohio, Georgia, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts and Vermont. In Canada, Rewards Cards are currently available in Ontario.

With the Subway rewards card, you can earn one point for every dollar spent on Subway restaurant menu items. The points can then be redeemed for free menu items. Points are rounded up or down to the nearest dollar, prior to sales taxes! You can check out all the details about this rewards program here.

…AND to get you started, Subway is offering up 50 FREE bonus points just by sending a simple text message. Just text your 16 digit Subway Card Number (without spaces) to 35562 on your cell phone. You will then get 50 bonus points added to your card. Those 50 bonus points = a FREE 6-inch sub! Can you say FREE lunch?! Check out all the details on this promotional offer here.

I did it, and it said, Thank You for joining Subway Mobile Rewards. You will earn 50 points on your next visit. Which means you have to order, and swipe your card, then pay. So the next purchase won’t be free, but the one after that will be. But hey, 50 free points! WooHoo! Thanks Collin and Good Deal Momma! 🙂

Did you buy a sub yet? I did the same thing, bought a 6 inch and at the bottom of my receipt it does not say that I got 50 extra points! It says my balance is only 44 points!?!?

The Subways near my parents’ home in New Jersey have this as well, but NJ isn’t mentioned on the list. Hm.

I wonder if you text this if you will continue to recieve text messages from them?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You will, but you can opt out. I plan to do so after I’ve gone in and earned my points. 😉

I was just given one last week at my Subway in Virginia.

I was just at subway last weekend and they told me that they were “phasing out” the rewards card program and would allow you to redeem points but not longer add points to your account. Maybe it just depends on the state.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They told us that they were doing away with the program as well. We live in Idaho, where are you at?

  7. Amanda

it’s available in south carolina, too…

I got a rewards card at subway. card says register quickly and easily at MySubwayCard.com. once online at site ,I am told I cannot register online. What, I would like to know , is quick and easy about that? sounds to me that subway corp. is scamming the public with false promises. I am very disappointed in subway corp. for misleading the public and think everyone should boycot subway until subway corp. gets their act together and delivers what they promise. “quick and easy registration at {MySubwayCard.com}”.

Yeah; Now that I went on line; I see that ya can’t just sign up for this; It’s a scam type deal; Doesn’t do anything for me personally as a loyal subway customer; What’s up subway?

I shopped at a subway in grove city, ohio. I was told by the employees I must sigh up on line. I attempted to sigh up on line, computer subway says sigh up at the subway store. This makes subway rest. look dum. Please email me and let me know what is correct!!!!!!!!

I just got an email notice from Subway that changes the use of the rewards cards big time, and you will have no choice about it. Sometime this summer (2017), the program will change to give you back only 1 cent for each dollar you spend, much less money than the previous agreement. For example, I have 475 points piled up which would normally buy me at least four (or maybe 6) 12″ subs. With the new program, that will only be worth $2, and even that will expire in 90 days. No more holding onto the points. To make it worse, I called Subway to ask when the program will start and they refused to answer. I guess they want my points to go up in smoke without any warning. After the change, it won’t be worth the trouble to use the cards. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
