Nivea is hosting another happy hour today at 4PM EST. The previous happy hour generated a lot of frustration among Hip2Save readers who sat by their computers all day only to realize that the offers/prizes were several low-value printable coupons. I am not sure what Nivea has to offer up today…it may be worth your time to check it out?!

what happened last happy hour? i was at work so i couldn’t participate.
I ‘liked’ them after I read about the post here, I guess around 9 am or so. I waited hours, then about 2:00 (CST my time), gave up and went to the grocery store. I got back and still nothing. Finally at 3, I get a message on my wall about the printable coupons. I don’t remember what the values were…$4/2 or $3/2, so it was a bit disappointing to me, esp after getting $4/1 value in the recent inserts.
I guess people were waiting for hours and hours for a “big deal”. No time was set, so the refresh buttons were on fire. When they finally opened the offer, it was just low value coupons. Lots were disappointed..or very angry. I still printed them just incase of a good deal somewhere. lol
they said “stay tuned for happy hour” at about 10am. Didn’t say WHEN it was going to be. picked up about 5,000 more fans during the day. Wall posts were wild. People were getting frustrated- they had waited all day for nothing. FINALLY at about 5pm?? They did it, it was a link to a few coupons. BOO! We were thinking free sample or something. Waited for nothing. Some people were actually posting that they were running late to pick up their kids and making PB&J sandwiches for dinner, stuff like that b/c they had been sitting all day at the computer and not doing housework/chores. C’MON!!! Putting your life on hold for a *possible* free sample? exactly what she said above- pppffffffffffffttttttttttt!!!!!
LOL, some people are addicted to free! 😉 I checked a few times last week, but missed it, then when I found out what it was, I was glad I missed it. 🙂
It might have been low value for some but for people like my mom it came in handy. She need lotion it was higher than the $1 insert.

At my CVS (Ohio), they are $1.99 reg. price. But I don’t know about other stores. HTH.

The cheapest Nivea lip care I’ve seen is $3+, but I don’t know, the coupon might end up getting somebody a really good deal somehow, somewhere.
It’s about $2.50 or so at Walmart in the cold medicine section.

They had $1.00 coupons on 1 in the Sunday inserts which work better with the BOGO coupon in the ALL YOU Magazine
Sometimes Walgreens have them on sale for 99 cents but i haven’t seen these at these prices in a littlw while.

I have a question kind of off topic, but when printing coupons off the internet do I have to print them in color, or can I print them in black and white? I’m running low on color ink but have tons of black and white. will stores complain?
you can print them in black and white — I do it in draft mode all the time to save toner
I always print mine in just black and white.. i have never had anyone say anything about not taking them.
I print all mine in black and white now. I haven’t had a problem.
I’ve never had a problem with b&w. Don’t waste your color ink.
i’ve never had problems — i always use B&W.
I print mine in color because I do not want to risk getting there and not being able to use the Q because it wasn’t printed in color. Most places will probably let you get away with using B&W though.
This 2 off of 2 coupon matches well with the bogo lip care coupon that is out as well. I just saw it today when I was at Target looking at my coupons. They had the women’s body wash (with an extra (smaller bottle) on clearance for 4.66. I had a $4 off any body wash and a bogo, I paid .66 for 4 bottles of body wash! Best deal I scored today.
If you got the may all you magazine there was a bogo coupon in there you could use with this coupon!
I love nivea body wash, I have about 20 bottles in my bathroom, and just recieved 10 more 4.00 off coupons today I got from ebay. 10 more bottles free at walmart well really 9 i paid 4 dollars for the 10 with shipping free. my husband swears he is going to send me to rehab…

I’m sorry, but anyone saying you can pair this with a BOGO is using the coupons incorrectly, and MOST stores will not let you do this. You can only pair a manufacturer $ off 1 coupon with a manufacturer BOGO coupon, not $ off 2. You CAN however – depending on the store – pair the $2/2 coupon with a BOGO sale or with a store BOGO coupon (or any other store coupon for that matter at stores that allow stacking). Just saying that so that people don’t go to the store and get embarrassed when they can’t use them like they thought they could. And of course the total letdown of realizing that it wasn’t as good of a deal as anticipated….
These are clearanced at my Wags for $1.59, so 59 cents each after coupon. PLUS when you buy two of them at Wags, a rebate will print out to get a FREE Self exercising DVD in the mail. Pretty good deal!
Decent deal, but the products aren’t all that…
i see what they are doin’… offering low value coupons for the first couple of times and then work their way up to some samples or something….i bet cha they think if they offer this little stuff first then by the end of the happy hour promo there wont be as many ppl to offer the good stuff to.
