Not 1 of the 4 Wags in my area carries the Fresh Brush 2 in 1 starter kit. 🙁

    • Bob

same here…I went to 3 different Wags and none had the starter kit. 🙁

    • Carly

Same here in Northern MN 🙁

    • Laurie

I was just about to write the very same thing 🙁

    • Amy

      Same here in east TN

    • Amanda F

For those of you with a Kroger, Scrubbing bubbles products are on sale. You can get the same deal above for around $1.80. 🙂

    • Anabel

Finally a sale that involves a store we have in Texas!! Thanks for the heads up Julie!!!

    • Heather W

Thanks! I couldn’t find any of these at my Walgreens either so I will head over to Kroger!

    • kelli

i bought these at Kroger and received a catalina also!

  3. Christy

Why Wags? If you buy 2 of each at Target and have a $5 Gift Card coupon, I think you could make money on this deal.

    • Erin

Isn’t this the coupon that so many people are having trouble with at Target? I don’t, so I’m not all that concerned, but I wonder why so many were rejected as “fraudulent”? Good to know before you go!

I just found a magazine at my gym with a $2/2 Scrubbing Bubbles coupon that should work with the Target deal. . . .

      • LC

YES! I tried at 2 different Targets and they wouldn’t take all the coupons cuz it said one per purchase! Oy! VERY fraustrating!!

    • Mary Ellen

I tried using the coupon at two different Targets also and it didn’t work. Then I took it to customer service and they gave me the money back for my coupons.

      • Erin

You mean the register wouldn’t take the coupons? What items were you buying and coupons were you using?

  4. Carly

Our Target sells them, but they were OOS. No Kroger here, but I may try Walmart even if it costs a bit more.

  5. Allison

If anyone has a meijer close, I found these there. HTH!

  6. amy

Target still has their buy 3 toilet products get the 5.00 gift card…
but… target is picky on their coupons lately… let me know if anyone has any problems.

    • Marci

I had a problem at one Target because the lady said that the B1G1 attaches to 2 items, which I know wasn’t true. I went to another target and it worked out perfectly.

I bought 1 Fresh Brush Starter Kit, 2 refills, 3 toilet cleanings gels and paid 8.77 (+ tax) and got $10 in gift cards. Remember that you don’t have to purchase 3 starter kits because it says or refill. The refills are better because you get 12 refills, and they are cheaper which lowers the amount of tax.

At my Target they had the Fresh Mountain Morning Toilet Gel as 3.79 and the Regular Toilet Gel as 3.99, but it still rang up 3.99. I couldn’t get the difference because I had the gift card and I would have only been refunded 2.27 and would have had to pay 3.79. I think that is the worst policy. If something needs to be changed because of the wrong price, it shouldn’t hurt me that I used a Target coupon.

Do you have to have a Target store ad/coupon to get the $5 or $10?
I’ve never done any of their deals, because I can never find their coupon.

  7. Michelle

I don’t think there was a $1 Coupon in the 5/16 SS, none of the coupon preview sites have it listed, there was a coupon in the 3/21 but it expired on 5/16 🙁

  8. Stephanie

none of the wags have the 2 in 1 brush starter kit. took it to target who price matched it. bought 3 toilet gels ($2.50-$1.00mfc), 3 2-in-1 brush kits ($7.24-$7.24), used 3 of each coupon plus 2 target coupons for $5 gc when 3 items were purchased. In short, got 6 items, paid $4.50, rcvd. $10.00 in gift cards, $5.50 profit. Worked out to be a better deal than at wags. YEAH!

    • Marci

Dang. I forgot about price match. I wasn’t sure if Target would price match with a drugstore.

    • CHI

My target it’s a hit or miss when price matching, specially when the ad says 2 for $5 or anything similar. I don’t have my walgreens ad in front of me but i think i remember that it does say 2/$5. I’m going to try it today and see.

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Walgreens Does NOT carry the fresh brushes!

when the first buy 3 Scrubbing bubbles get a $5 target gift card coupon was out (expired earlier this month, i think 5/4) i used this coupon on 3 separate occasions with 3 different outcomes. once, it went through, but it took off the cost of the gel instead of the starter kit but i didn’t catch as i was buying several products. second time, i took the coupons and products to customer service so i could walk the CSR through the pricing and what the total should be. She had to K1 (manually match the coupon with product) everything, but the total was exactly what it should have been. the third time, i went through the regular line, and the cashier needed a supervisor to approve before the computer would let her scan any more coupons. this manager happened to be a very good one, read the fine print that said max value, saw that brush kit was more than the max value, and told the cashier to just accept the coupon and target could absorb the $0.30 extra it was taking off.
This coupon is definately a YMMV, but if you’re up for it, here is a deal scenario:
buy 3 toilet cleaning gels ($3.89 if memory serves me correctly, take a walgreen’s ad and have them price match to $2.50, again YMMV)
buy 3 fresh start brush kits
Use 3 Buy gel, get start brush free coupons (need 2 computers)
Use 1 $1/1 cleaning gel coupon
Use 1 $2/2 any scrubbing bubbles peelies being found on newer scrubbing bubbles products (NOTE: coupon says 1 per purchase)
Use 2 Free $5 Target Giftcard when you buy 3 select scrubbing bubbles products regional coupon
Without any coupons for the gels, pay $11.67 for all 6 products and $10 in Target gift cards
Without price match, pay $8.67 for all 6 products and $10 in Target gift cards
With price match, pay $4.50 for all 6 products and $10 in Target gift cards
EVEN BETTER: if you haven’t hit your SC Johnson rebate, you can make up to $10.50 on this deal.
Personal opinion: the toilet cleaning gel, while it smells great, disappears rather quickly. I would say each application lasts only about a week if not less with 2 people sharing 1 bathroom, both working full time. But, if they want to pay me to “buy” these products, I’m more than happy to!

    • Faith

I would recommend having a copy of the coupon policy as well as the phone number for target guest services (1.800.440.0680) handy whenever trying deals that involve multiple coupons. (even just the threat of calling corporate will sometimes make the manager easier to deal with)

    • Erin

Wow! I had an interesting experience using these coupons last night. I rarely have problems at Target, but I wasn’t sure they’d price match and let me use the Target gift card coupon. Well, they did, but my total seemed off. I bought two gels, price matched to $2.50, and two fresh start refills for $3.94 apiece. I paid about seven bucks or so. I hadn’t really done the math prior to checking out, but when I looked at the receipts, I realized I must have been charged for the gift card, but the customer service person said I wasn’t. She got another customer service person to look at the receipt, who also agreed I wasn’t charged because there was an “N” next to the gift card, which meant no charge. I pointed out that I only purchased four items–two of which were free. That left the gels, which were $5 – $2/2 coupon = $3 plus tax. They pulled the coupons out, examined them, examined the receipt. The first customer service person told the second to have another person explain it to me. This third person looked at the receipt and coupons and said, “let’s go redo this and see what happens.” So we go to a register, and she re-rings it (and doesn’t even bat an eye about the price match), scans the coupons (again without even batting an eye when they come up “item not found”–just selecting the appropriate item and moving on! Lo and behold, the total is three dollars plus tax, as I said it should be. I ask her what happened and she said “I have no idea.” So back to customer service, where she voids the previous transaction and finishes my transaction. In and out–after about a half hour dealing with this! So be sure you check your receipts! The first customer service rep didn’t do anything wrong (other than refusing to really examine the receipt and see that I was overcharged)–the register just did something totally wonky and random.

I have noticed that on the ones i have done at target …same thing happened to me -i bought 3 of the toilet gel and 3 of the refils… but my cashier only gave me 1 b1g1 coupon (they are only allowing 1 per transaction) … and even though she scanned both the 5.00 gift card coupons i had, it charged me for 1 gift card…because acording to the register i didnt pay for 6 items i only paid for 5. (since the bogo)… its frustrating… but the cs people were nice about fixing it… And when it comes to price matching… even though i purchased 3 andgot the gift card, for them to price match, i had to give the gift card back, and repurcahse…but they made me use a new 5.00 coupon (luckly i did find one on the floor by the sb products, but…that still frustrated me) Has anyone noticed that even though the cashier may scan all 3 toilet gels in a row and all the refils in a row, it mixes the items together when it goes to the gift card part? it did with mine, i attempted to exchange 1 item – thinking since the rung the 3 gels together then the coupon, that they would all be with the gift card promo and it was actually the refil… GRR!… i would have to pay the difference if i wanted the other item.

I just did this deal at Walmart; take in your Walgreens ad and they’ll price match it. My Walmart checkout lady thought this was an amazing deal and wanted to know where I got the coupons so she could do the same thing!

  12. Ashlea

If you end up getting these, save your receipts for the SC Johnson rebate! 🙂

    • Northeasterner

      Thx for the reminder! 😉

    I can’t find the Q in the 5/16 SS …. Knoxville Sentinel… anybody else?

  14. Nicole

Found out last night that the all of the Walgreens in my area no longer accept internet coupons. BUMMER. This just started in the last day or so, because I used some internet coupons there over the weekend.

    • Nicole

I live in Indianapolis, by the way.

  15. Allison

Kroger will not take free coupons that are printed from the internet, only ones that you get in the paper….

    • Amanda

i think it depends on your kroger..cause my kroger will.

  16. Amanda

Neither my Walgreens or CVS will accept any other mfc or ips with a buy one get one free coupon. Does anyone know if this is policy or just up to the individual store? Thanks!

  17. Beth

If you have already done this transaction before open up your boxes of scrubbing bubbles fresh brush 2-in-1 starter kits. There are coupons in them that will make this deal even better.
