FYI – alot of the sizes/color combinations are not available this time. I kept clicking on them, but they wouldn’t have the size. I ordered both kids a pair last time. We had never tried them. We all love them! I was wanting to stock up for both of them in larger sizes for later on, but so many are not available. I sure hope that add more shoes soon.
Also to let you know, their customer service is amazing!!! We bought the firefly’s on clearance and they work sometimes but not others. I emailed the company and they sent over a replacement pair of shoes FREE! They don’t make the Firefly’s anymore so we chose from their new ones – plus we got to keep the Fireflys!
My two boys have the fireflies as well and I get so many compliments when they were them! They are adorable. Good to know htey have great customer service also!
Grabbed a pair of tod girls size 5. I was so tempted to buy like 5 pair but I just know whatever size I choose prob wont be right next year. The boys’ sizes are even more limited. Also got a pair of Oakley sunglasses for $40! Last pair I got a couple years ago are scratched and Im just not digging them anymore, and they were over $200! I won’t feel as bad if these aren’t my dream come true. Discount plastic lenses always give me a headache … so it’s a win-win!
Abby, buying ahead is a great way to save money. My little guy is almost 2 1/2 years. Basically, he wore a size 5 at the end of last summer. He is just now moving into a size 6. So, you might consider buying a size bigger and then a size bigger than that. If it is too big next year, then she should be able to wear it the next. I have just about won at the buy ahead deal. My oldest is 4 1/2 years. You wouldn’t believe all the boutique outfits I get for her (whole outfits!) for cheaper than one outfit (by the time you piece it together) on clearance at like Target. Then, when I resale, I get a great portion of my money back at garage sales. I am not a $0.25 and $0.50 girl. I price my items higher than most, but people buy them without batting an eye. I take good care of my kids clothes. And, the nicer stuff we hang up. You can probably sale these shoes for even $2-$4 after you have used depending on how clean they are.
