    Collin,
I appreciate your site so much. A lot of the other coupon blogs I have looked at are SOOO confusing. I like the way you lay out the deals…it makes it so much easier. You are awesome! 🙂

  2. Erin

There is an Alice in wonderlan $10 off coupon through the Disney website. Sorry I don’t know the link. That will make it $6.99 for the movie

    • Latasha

That coupon is only for the blu ray. So unless they are selling the blu ray for $16.99 (which is unlikely- I’m guessing this is the price for the regular DVD) using this coupon would be wrong.

      • Erin

Just trying to help…Not trying to do anything illegal. You don’t have to be mean about it.

      • Julie S.

Many of the new Disney movies are combo DVD/BlueRay. I would assume that any new one would be, and that the $10 coupon would then be valid on it.

  3. Heather

Could we use the BOGO coupon for the Hersey bars (expires 5/31) and pay $.89 for 3 after coupon and CVS discount?

    • fran

Yes, that will work too. Check your coupon, though…mine expires 5/30, tomorrow.

  4. Erin

ugh… i am looking for a sale on dishwasher detergent… why is there never any?!?! 🙂 i hate spending almost full price for dishwasher detergent… but it’s a necessity, so i must… just curious, anyone ever find good sales on dishwasher detergent??

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I think my sister buys her dishwasher detergent at the Dollar Tree for $1. I’ve also read frugal recipes for making your own, you could always google that, too! I wash my dishes by hand, so I don’t buy it.

    • Bobby

Cascade is on sale at CVS this week for $2.99 but this week’s sale is only good through today, 5/29. I’m not sure whether or not $2.99 is a good price or not but I hope this helps.

    • Barbie

I agree; I hate it, too. What’s worse is that the cheap products often don’t work as well. Cascade Complete is the absolute best, but there are never good coupons.

    • Kelly O'Donnell

Rite-Aid just had Cascade for only $.99 last week after SCR. I jumped all over that.

      • Wendy B.

Not only that but if you had a manufacturer coupon you could even get it for less… 49 cents 🙂

    • Kara

That is one item that I look for too… I love the little gel packs, and have found it goes in cycles, Walgreens had them free a while back so I stocked up. It should come around again. 🙂

I WAS WONDERING IN THE NEW CVS SALE COVERGIRL IS BUY ONE FACE PRODUCT GET ONE FOR 50% OFF..IF U HAVE THE COUPON BUY ONE GET ONE FREE HOW WOULD THAT WORK

    • Olivia Smith

      Hi–

Per Collin’s store guide, this is CVS policy: In the case where a particular item is on sale for *buy one get one free* (BOGO), you are only allowed to use one manufacturer’s BOGO coupon. For instance, if Revlon lipstick is on sale for BOGO, you can use one manufacturer’s BOGO coupon. You would get both items free and pay any applicable tax. We reserve the right to limit quantities. If our store is running a sale for BOGO, you can use two manufacturer’s coupons for a specific dollar amount off. For example, if Revlon lipstick is on sale at our store for BOGO, you can use two $1.00 off Revlon lipstick manufacturer coupons.

      HTH,
      Olivia

    • Amy

Sounds to me like all you’d be doing is getting the 2nd product for free instead of half price without the coupon.

    • Elizabeth

I just returned from CVS and was able to snag some of the deals that start tomorrow. One of them was Covergirl trublend foundation. This is how my scenario worked:

Buy 2 Covergirl Trublend Foundation priced at $9.48 each. One rings up $4.74 due to 50% sale.
I used $1 off any 1 Covergirl product and the B1G1 face product coupon.
The cashier took off $9.48 for the B1G1 Q. So, I ended up paying $3.74 total for 2 products regularly priced at $9.48 each! I was so excited!

I expected her to take the 1/2 price item off. Not sure what they’re suppose to take off and maybe you just have to get a super nice cashier.

      • voahangy

I used the Cover Girl face BOGO today & they took off the full price of 1 because the half off showed up only at the end after all the coupons. So I bought 2 products each at 6.99, I used a coupon from may P&G, $2.50 off 2. So my OOP was only $1 for 2. Not bad… I have to say that I was kind of scared and one of the cashiers was in a very bad mood. But it went really smooth because, again, their half off promotion was applied after all coupons.

  6. fran

Does anyone think the Lysol No Touch System is worth the $2.99 OOP?

    • cindy

I never bought refills for mine – I went back to my other soaps – easier for me. I paid 9.00 for mine and I would say not worth it – if you will use it – maybe worth it. Not sure why I bought mine – just a new thing I guess.

      • fran

Thanks Cindy, I just might buy it only because I have a $15, a $6.99, and a $1.00 ECBs, and this will help me reach my total. I did read that some people were refilling these.

  7. fran

Hi Ladies, could you please check out my comment in the Gillette post about free shoes…thanks so much.

  8. melissa

I get Rouge magazine and I didn’t have a Duracell q in the most recent issue…

  9. Wendy B.

I found a way to make this deal even sweeter… woohoo!!! When I had stopped by Redner’s (a local grocery store here in part of PA) I came across rebate forms that if you purchase $25 of Proctor & Gamble products in one transaction you can submit and receive a FREE $10 Prepaid MasterCard card by mail. I looked for a website to find the rebate form online but couldn’t find it… you may want to keep your eyes open for these forms! The top of the form says “Converse and Save with Future Friendly” although I believe you can purchase pretty much any P&G products in order to meet the $25 min. I’m not sure if I have all of the coupons Colin listed but either way this will make for a really awesome deal.

So here’s what the updated deal scenario could look like…
Buy $25 or more of select Charmin, Bounty, Duracell or Puffs products = $10 Ecb (Limit 1)
    Deal Scenario:
Buy 2 Charmin Big Rolls 16 pk. $9.99 each
Buy 1 Duracell AAA or AA 10 pack $5.99
    Total $25.97
Use the $4 off $20 CVS coupon
Use 2 $1/1 Charmin coupons from the 5/16 RP
Use 1 $1/1 Duracell coupon from Rouge magazine
    Pay $18.97
    Get back a $10 Ecb
Submit mail in rebate for $10 P & G FREE Mastercard card
Final Cost: FREE + a $1.03 money maker!

  10. Rebecca Welch

The only Charmin coupon I have in the 5/16RP is a Target Coupon. 🙁

  11. Ashish

I went to CVS to check Air Wick FreshMatic Automatic Spray Kit but it was $10.99 as against $5.99 mentioned in the post above (also cross checked at the price scanning machine)

  12. fran

I was just getting my coupons ready for CVS and I found 2 B1G1 Reach Total Care dental floss coupons…woo hoo…4 free flosses, since it is a B1G1 sale. Check your 1/3 RP…it might be regional…I’m in N.J.

  13. karmen

has anyone found the BAN deodorant Q in the 4/18 ss? I can’t find it and don’t know if my area just didn’t get it or if its the wrong date?

    • Jessica

I got it in Lincoln, NE

  14. Pepper

thanks for showing us theDealyo.com site. They have some cool stuff.

  15. Melissa R.

There wasn’t a $1 coupon for the Aqua Mist at the link listed below. Did anyone else find it?

Air Wick Scented Oil Refill 0.71 oz. or Aqua Mist 11.7 oz. 2/$5
    Buy 2 Aqua Mists 2/$5
Use the Buy 1 Aqua Mist, Get 1 Free coupon from the 5/16 SS
Use the $1/1 coupon from the 4/25 SS or found here
    Final Cost $0.75 each!

    • Melinda

Can’t find it either! I did a search for an Aqua Mist Printable Coupon and I found Dollar General’s FB page with a $1/1 coupon for their store only. But nothing on the link provided???

  16. Amanda

My local CVS (Liberty, SC) has some great clearance deals on Johnson & Johnson and Aveeno Baby products. I was able to score a 9oz. J&J Baby Lotion for free. It was marked $1.63 so I used the $1.00 off printable – when it rang up it came up .92 so I actually had an $0.08 overage. Included were the buddies ($0.74), the relaxing bath products, and other Aveeno baby products.

  17. Valerie

The Charmin coupon in my insert is for TARGET ONLY! Boo!

  18. Rebecca Stacy

I don’t know if other areas are participating, but yesterday at my Metro Detroit CVS’s (I went to 2 of them) they were clearancing CVS brand diapers for up to 75% off! What was 75% seemed to depend on the store. One I went to just had size 4 Mega packs for 75% (other sizes were 25 or 50%), another CVS had size 5 and 6 Mega packs and size 4 Jumbos for 75% off. For me, that was $2.37 for a Jumbo and $3.49 for a Mega. Some CVS wipes were also being clearanced.

  19. Shalis

where did you find the $10 P&G Rebate?

  20. Kara

Collin – I really appreciate you highlighting in red what you think are good deals… I am still learning the ropes as to what is good pricing on certain items and it definately helps! So thanks for what you do! 🙂
