My paper had a small General Mills insert. Denfinately not worth it to buy extra paper though!

I live in Michigan and there is a coupon insert.
In the Orlando Sentinel this morning, we got a small coupon insert from General Mills. It was a nice surprise because I had heard there weren’t any inserts this weekend! Maybe its a regional insert?

In Morgantown, WV there was the one small GM insert. Like everyone else said, not worth buying extras. But a nice little surprise since we thought we wouldn’t have any at all!!!
Even though there’s no inserts for the most part, there are new coupons over at coupons.com. With no zip I’m showing 77 food coupons. 🙂

It’s ok… I could use a week ‘off’ to organize the coupons I already have! A lot of them expire tomorrow, May 31 and I need to make sure I use them.

Me too! With the beautiful weather here in Alaska the past few weeks I am SO far behind and was almost a little stressed that I would have even more to clip today- instead I will enjoy the extra time to sort and get them into my binder.
There was a P&G insert here in Sheridan, WY including $2/1 Pampers wipes (which makes them $0.24 at Walmart!!) and $4/1 Olay Total Effects body wash.
Wow you were lucky to get that one! I had checked their website last night to see if there would be one and it said June 6th is the next one!

Can someone tell me if it’s going to be worth the $2 plus tax (at gas stations) to get the paper with the General Mills insert? I don’t want to spend the money if I’m not going to get any beneficial savings. Thanks!
No, it’s not worth to spend even a dollar for this Smartsource GM insert. Total coupon value is only $12 and they are not even good coupons. Now there’s a $5 Prilosec in Parade that may come in handy.
Yup! I bought two Louisville papers and there is a GM insert. Better than nothing!
I also went ahead and skipped on the paper this week. After my friend bought a paper, just to get home and realize that he paper had been “robbed” of the coupons, I always check! Maybe next week….

not just you! 🙂 I figured the companies did this thinking that on major holiday weekends, people are traveling or celebrating and not out shopping. But that’s just so not true! I would love to have coupons on holiday weekends because I finally have more time to sort them and figure out the deals, etc. It’s never made any sense to me at all.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer in OH has the small General Mills insert…the best coupon for me is the 50 cents off the Betty Crocker Cookie Mixes. It doubles at Giant Eagle and paired with a sale, I’ll have plenty of chocolate chips cookies for my son’s graduation party at the end of this month

I live in Utah and we got the GM insert. I have been doing coupons for a year now and absolutely love the break of no coupons. I love coupons, but too much of a good thing can be bad.. Have a happy and safe holiday.

General Mills insert was in the AR paper today. Was worth it for me because there were several things I use.

I’m in NJ and didn’t get any coupons- not even this GM insert everyone is talking about! Hmph!
So glad to read this. I looked through my local paper before buying and then the clerk told me there weren’t any in that paper. I didn’t take the chance on the larger two I normally buy, and also felt slightly relieved not to have more to cut. I am almost organized and have just printed some from the internet.
I received a Walgreens Special…buy 2 Coors or Mller Light Cases $8.99 each and a bottle of yellowtail wine ($5.99) and you $20 worth of merchandise (which we used to by 3 12pks of coke for $12 (with a $5 reg reward) and a few misc things we needed…we were supposed to mail in for a $20 rebate but our walgreens did not have any forms…so they gave us a 20 Walgreens Gift Card….so My Walgreens bucks are now $25
We had a small insert with coupons in the Sunday paper. I actually bought it on Monday at the dollar store. Does the dollar store normally carry the Sunday paper on Monday? I actually bought the paper because I was looking for something in the sale papers. :o)
