I don’t really try the travel size items. Does anyone have issues like I do? I just find its not worth the hassle
Out of curiosity…Why does Target and Walmart use the gun to scan coupons? It takes them longer than when I go to the grocery store and they swipe it across the scanner. It seems it goes faster at the grocery stores.
I had a small issue with the Vaseline coupon tonight but the cashier adjusted it down to $.97 like their policy states.

The Armor All Rebate mentions ‘Wheel Protectant’, made the biggest mistake purchasing Tire Protectant instead….. Too much of a bother to drive 6 miles to do exchange. Would they accept Tire Protectant as opposed to Wheel?? That sounded silly….

On the Benedryl deal (buy 2 of the stick sprays 2.29), I had a problem. The $5/2 coupon beeped Item Not Found. First she said they were trial size items. I told her I didn’t think so, they were next to the other Benedryl items. They she said ‘oh, you bought blue benedryl, the coupon shows a pink benedryl’ I said, but it says on any right? So she shrugs her shoulders, scans the coupon again, and it beeps. So she pulls up the items on the screen and says ‘oh, these 2 items don’t cost $5, thats why the coupon won’t go through’ So I said ‘well, isn’t it corp policy to adjust the coupon down to the price of the item/s?’ She says ‘oh no, you can’t not pay for anything’ I was getting flustered, knowing it wouldn’t go any further, I said ‘but I’m paying tax on the full price of the items and your store will get reimbursed for the full value of the coupon??? She says ‘sorry, too much coupon fraud. We got lectured about fake free coupons’ I said ‘ this isn’t a fake coupon, it came from the paper, but thats ok, just take it off and I’ll go to Walmart’ She was about to call a manager over, which any other time I would have taken the time to talk to, but I was running late as it was, plus adding on additional time going back & forth with the cashier, I told her I would speak to the manager another time.
Very frustrating…
WARNING!! VASELINE ALOE VERA COUPON WILL NOT WORK ON THE TRAVEL SIZED ITEM AT TARGET!!!!!! it was VERY frusrating!! she called the manager over too.. all for a stupid free $1 lotion!! ALSO the tresemme $1 off coupon you get from facebook DOES NOT WORK!!!!!
These comments are too funny! I can’t believe you guys are spending so much time chasing coupons for aloe vaseline! You could use all the fussing time to grow your own aloe!
Great Clearance find!! I got Huggies Lil Swimmers bonus pack of 17 large diapers!! for 6.98 and I used the $1.50 TQ and the $1MQ…only $4.48 + tax!! BTW, I’m in South Florida.
