Weekend Activities Round-Up!

* Disney Store: Toy Story 3 Event = This Saturday, June 5th, from 11AM-2PM you can participate in a craft activity and photo-op (The Disney site simply states that you’ll “Build a playset to create your own Toy Story adventures and bring your camera for a fun photo opportunity!” Minimum age for participation is 3 years. * Lakeshore Learning = Saturday from 11AM-3PM, you can make silly summer sunglasses decorated with rhinestones, pom-poms and glitter!

* Home Depot Kids Workshop = Saturday from 9AM-Noon to make a wooden soccer game; In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates’ aprons, and an achievement pin.

* The Knack Free Family Event at Michaels = Saturday from 10AM-2PM, create an Ode to Dad with your own Build-a-Book provided by Klutz; Ages 3 and up welcome.

* FREE National Park Weekend = From June 5th-6th, the National Park Service is waiving the entrance fees at more than 100 national parks that usually charge entrance fees (click here for more details)! In addition, many national park concessioners are offering special promotions that make this deal even sweeter!
