I can confirm that the 99¢ tins are counting toward the Skincare #555 SCR at Rite Aid! (.89 with Wellness 10% discount or .79 with Wellness 20% discount). So with this $2/2 coupon… FREE!!

isnt the $2/2 coupon for lip care, and aren’t the tins creme? as in hand cream?

  2. Lisa

I love Nivea lip care…that grapefruit one sounds yummy!
Haven’t seen it before. Now if we can find a $1 sale on them
at Walgreens, Target, Albertsons or Safeway…those are my stores. 🙂

  6. Christy

  7. lisa w

Didn’t reset for me either =(

I do not think that you can use the b1g1 and the $2/2 together. Here is why.

    The b1g1 is a manufacturer’s coupon.

    The $2/2 is a manufacturer’s coupon.

They can’t be used together because then there would be 2 manufacturer’s coupons being used on the same product ( b1g1 attaches to A, $2/2 attaches to both A and B) and you can’t do that.

I thought I would be able to do a similar deal with Ziplic coupons last week, buying 4 and using two BOGO and one $1 off 2, but I tried it at Walmart and they wouldn’t go through. The cashier tried it, but clearly each BOGO had attached to two items in their computer.

    • Melissa

Combining BOGO and $/$$ is considered piggybacking. I have not had any trouble combining, as long as you have the correct # of items to cover each coupons wording. Now, YMMV, b/c some stores think you are double dipping, but why can’t you save on the item you are purchasing (the BO part), even though you are getting the 2nd item free?
So, for 4 items, 2 BOGO q’s are for to 2 you are getting free. That leaves your 2 qualifying items open for saving an additional $2.
I always give my $/$$ coupons first, then the BOGO, which will beep b/c the cashier needs to enter the purchase price.

      • Brandy

Well OP makes it sound like they are only picking up 2 items (item A and B). In that case, no you can’t use a BOGO + a $2/2 coupon for those two items. I have corporate emails references that this is not allowed.

BUT, you can of course by 4 items (A, B, C, D) and use BOGO on A and B, then $2/2 for C and D.

I had trouble using the B1G1 and the $1 off 1 at CVS the other day. I bought 4 and used 2 B1G1 and 2 $1 off. It beeped when I tried to use the $1 after the B1G1. I think the CVS registers changed within the last month or so because I was previously able to use the B1G1 Nivea Bodywash with a $2 off (May) and then for a later transaction I used a B1G1 Nivea Bodywash with a $4 off and the $4 off beeped (June). Luckily, I have an amazing CVS that just pushed them through, but the beeps make me cringe.

    • Brandy

Yeah I think their registers did change – I inquired via email and received a response that you can’t use two coupons on two items when one of the coupons applies to a free offer. It is nice that they put it through for you but technically I don’t think they have to.

i was at CVS last night trying for the skinny cows deal- I had the $1 off and the B1G1 and Nope. Beeps Galore, I HATE those beeps! LOL SO i went to Publix and all was well in my world 🙂

  11. Dana

    $1/1 didn’t reset 🙁

  12. will

My Cvs (OHIO) wouldn’t let me use the 2/2, along with the BOGO. The cashier wouldn’t even scan it. She also told me they were not taking coupons on their clearence items. Well, doesn’t that stink.

  13. Carol

What zip are you using for the $1/1? I was never able to find it in the first place! I used 90210 and couldn’t find it. It doesn’t even show that I have already used it (on the last page.)

  14. Angie

I have a lot of these Nivea lip balms that I got for .25 cents from my commissary last time this was available, so I think I will save my ink on this one. : )

  15. Michele

I tried 10 zips and nothing for $1 off Nivea lip.

  16. EMILY

My wags had these on clearance for $1.69 (2 different shades of the tinted variety).

  17. rramirez@chartermi.net

What am I doing wrong, I have tried 3 different stores and they will not let me use 2 coupons on one item; like the buy two get $2.00 off. Help!

    • Shelly T.

It is because it is a $2/2 coupon, meaning $2.00 off two items. Hope that helps.

  18. Mitchell Wischmann

    Didn’t reset for me.
