Have you found any great food items on clearance at Target…please let us know in the comment section below!
(Thanks, ClippinWithCarie!)
These are on clearance for $2.44 at my store! Waiting for them to go down 🙂
Same in my S. Florida store …still a little pricey even with $1 off coupon. 🙂
I just went shopping last night at target and picked up 2 bottles of Ken’s salad dressing spritzers for $.14 a piece. I used 2 $1/1 coupons. Additionally, there are crystal light drink mixes, cheerios snack mix, macaroni grill frozen entrees, etc. I was almost giddy about all the food clearance!
I saw macaroni grill items on clearance as well as many other items. They are all within the isles! You just have to look for the red stickers.
I saw TONS of food clearance at my Target. Made a tedious list of the items, with prices, went home and looked for Q’s and either couldn’t find any or the Q was so low in value that it made the item $2 instead of $2.50. Hoping I can find more!! There was three endcaps stuffed full!!
These are $2.44 at my store now too (Atlanta area). There is a LOT of movie theatre style candy & gum marked down over 50%, bags of Chex mix (weird flavors, like Sour Cream & Onion), huge jars of Crisco shortening, lots of ice cream toppings, and a few boxes of Capri sun, Archer Farms popcorn & coffee. My Target hardly ever marks down food so I was pumped to see 3 endcaps full.
Dole pineapple was $.68 or $1.02 depending what style or size you get. I hope to find a coupon and go back to stock up!
Look for coupons on some specially marked boxes of Minute Brown Rice for some peelies. FYI – I think I found 50 cents off 2.
Wishbone Salad Spritzers – $1.21 (I think) at my closest store. With the $.75 coupon, and the Target coupon, made a little overage. 🙂
I found lindt chocolate bars on clearance for $1.14. With the 1/2 coupon made them $.64 each!!
The granola bars were marked down here to $1.44 last week and I was able to use my coupons on the last two boxes they had. We have 4 Target stores in Knoxville, and they all usually vary in pricing – on regular and clearance items. Its so confusing!
I found a bunch of healthy choice frozen dinners on clearance for 44 cents a box.
The North Garland and Rowlett Texas stores had wine on clearance as well…two thumbs up!!!
I found a 12 pack of Izzes marked down from $8.99 to $4.48. Thats some awesome deal on an expensive treat! I usually ask for Izze as a birthday, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day gift, etc b/c it is such an indulgence but you better believe I was prepared to knock people outta the way for that deal yesterday if they had any intentions of snaggin’ it out from under me. LOL!
I understand that target coupon policy accepts larger coupons to be reduced to sale price to use coupons but what about when the sale price is under the amount of the coupon?? I have been rejected twice for using a dollar coupon on something that is 97c . Help please??
Perfect scenario to get them to reduce down the coupon. Busy store, usually Friday in the afternoon at mine + the line you are in backing up + then you pull out the target coupn policy, to show that you will not be taking no for answer = instant reduction. I basically don’t go to customer service because there is no pressurefor them to get you thru the line fast.
I actually do the opposite and I don’t have any trouble with overage. I don’t bother with the trial size stuff, though, because you’re asking for scrutiny if you hand over a stack of coupons–especially IPs–that beep. I’ve found that making a reasonable purchase (mine are usually at least $5 to $10) and knowingly using only one or two coupons that beep works for me. Usually if they see you’re buying other things and not just trying to score the free stuff, they’ll just push them through. I made a $6 profit buying Scrubbing Bubbles yesterday (including gift card). I got two four-packs of raspberry applesauce on clearance for $1.27, two Herdez green salsa (my favorite for recipes!) on clearance for $1.56, Eggo waffles for .75, and two Scrubbing Bubbles for $5.65, and I received a $5 gift card.
Oh, another important element may be confidence. I am not remotely embarrassed about using coupons. And carrying the coupon policy as the person above mentioned wouldn’t hurt, either!
i have no prob gettin free trial items half the coupons printed or in the paper will beep as long as im bein legite i dont care lol i do like 2 screw walmart though lol well 2 me its screwin them its not really because theyre still making money on coupons our target had kisses 148 a bag so even cheaper then the weekly walgrens ad so hey alotta stores around here (ar) wont take the printed coupons at all anymore and thats including a walmart ugh they say that they wont bc we make our owm coupons wtf i dont make my own but whatever have a good day all happy saving
thanks for all your comments… I think they didn’t like me trying to get trial size for free… I did have other items that some paying full price for and regular items that are not trial size but everytime I go I get people not working with me… even having the target policy in hand… I am just going to take a break from target for awhile… First experience was good but everytime after that, not great. I am especially not going to mess with trial size stuff because target doesn’t like you getting that for free I guess. Thanks again everyone !
Portland, OR’s NE store at Cascade Station has tons of clearance food items right now. I’ve done 2 shopping trips there in the past 2 weeks and there was still a ton the 2nd time around.
What zip code has this $1 coupon? I couldn’t find it!
I found it with 37924
target (wash dc area) had a lot of food clearance, but nothing I wanted at 50% off.
Awesome deal here in the SF Bay Area – Nutrigrain Bars – Raspberry only – marked at $1.27 – scanned for .64 a box! And with the Kellogg’s $1/2 coupon – two boxes for only .28 cents!
Be careful when purchasing as I have found some of the sale products to have expired dates on some of these sale items. I purchased some Ortega Breakfast meals only to find they expired 03/10. Returned them to the store next day and was given a $3.00 off next purchase for the inconvenience.
I got the Cascade bars for .64 each. My store had Popsecret, Jello and Pringles on clearance, too.
My store had Warm Delight Mini’s on clearance for $1.30 with $1/2 coupon attached. I used my $.75 off each on them instead making them 52 cents each! My kids like these every once in a while.
I found Weight Watchers Smart Ones on clearance for $0.62/e. Plus there was a promo running that if you buy 10 Smart Ones you got a $5 gift Card. Plus, I had a $3/6 coupon. I paid $3.20 and got a $5 gift card. So,they were FREE with $1.80 in overage! OH YEAH!
Target brand macaroni and cheese – dinosaur shapes were on clearance for $.28 a box in my store. (Regularly $.59)
WOW !!! I scored big time today. Lots of great snacks and drinks to start our summer with. Hershey cookies and cream 6 pack candy bars $1.58 w/target $1.00 off coupon=.58 cents, Pringles low fat cans $1.32 each w/ $1.00 off 2 coupon=.82 cents each, Orville 3 pack box buttered popcorn $1.74 each w/ $1.00 off coupon=.74 cents each, Crystal Light 10 pack box $1.48 each w/ $1.00 off coupon=.48 cents each,. I did not have all my coupons with me and was crunched for time, I did see a few other items Ill be back for. GHIRARDELLI squares bag $1.78 each w/ $1.00 off coupon=.78 cents each, Im not sure of the prices of these next items. Caribou coffee, Kelloggs cereals, Nature Valley granola bars, Kool-aid and Hawaiian punch. All great items to have on hand. Happy shopping !!!
My Target in North MS had the large 32 oz. K C Masterpiece BBQ sauces clearanced to 2.18 each. My Walmart had the smaller sauces priced higher than $1 as Collin had posted, so I still had $1 IPs and got 4 at 1.18 each. I normally don’t pay that much, but I make BBQ in the crockpot quite often ( cheap meal) and was out of the free Kraft sauce. The bottles are really big!!!
They also had the 40 oz. Heinz ketchup for $1 but there was no signage; I had to price scan it.
I found some Muir Glen tomato cans on clearance for 1.38 so only .38 after $1 IPs!!
