What newspapers do you all buy and how do you find out where to buy them if subscribing isn’t an option? I’m looking for better newspapers in my area and don’t know where to start.
If there is a newsstand nearby, you might be able to get different cities’ newspapers there. Southernsavers does a regional coupon guide for the South (you can see which papers get which coupons later in the week, which helps you decide what paper to get). Other than that, I don’t know. Hope that helps!
Also, you could ask relatives to buy some for you, or if you ever visit a larger city, find out where their newspaper is headquarted and you can buy back issues usually.
Just an thought, not sure if it is everywhere but I was told in the state of NM if I subscribed to the newspaper it would contain no coupons or advertisements.
not true live in nm and we do get them here
I get them when I buy the paper, but when I subscribe to the Albuquerque journal they told me they would not be delivering the ads and coupons through the mail.

I just find Collin such an inspiration and she works so hard… I figured, hey, it’s worth a try, right? 😛
here in chicagoland, I saw at least one coupon that I think is rare – $1/2 packs of bicycle playing cards! I don’t think I have ever seen insert coupons for that…
Also, when I travel and I want to make sure I get at least ONE copy fo the chicago tribune, I go to Barnes and Noble…. or a similar bookstore. They usually have newspapers from ALL of the major markets, WITH inserts!
