The q for scotch brite sponges beeped for some reason when I used it at Wal-Mart for the .84 scrub sponges–but, amazingly, the cashier pushed it on through after only taking a second glance at the q! I knew I had the right q with the right product, so I’m not sure why it beeped, but I guess I picked the right cashier! Just wanted to let you all know that it might beep for you, too…

Usually any coupon thats off 2 or more items…beeps. Dont’ know why, but such a PIA, esp when you have a cashier that wants you to look for said items.

      • Jamie

As a cashier at a mass-merchandiser, please don’t get mad at the cashier for doing their job & verifying that you purchased the correct items. Many customers accidentally grab the wrong brand so it is especially important that, when a coupon beeps, the items are verified before pushing the coupon through.

If you have a Save A Lot near by their banquet fruit pies are only $0.69.

  3. Mal

Love this.. I am going there today… Thank you….

  4. Marie

Thanks for posting! I don’t shop there too often, but I know occasionally you can get pretty decent deals on a hand full of things. 🙂

The Del Monte Fruit Coolers are also on Roll-Back at my store to $2. I used a $1/1 coupon (not sure where I got it, but I had some Sunday clipped and one computer printed one). Also, there are some $1.50/2 coupons out there, for some good deals on these yummy summer treats! (My kids like them much better than Otter Pops)

    • marie

i bought them a while back and my kids love them if i can keep my husband from eating them 🙂

I don’t care if I can get a cart full for free, I am over Walmart. I had ANOTHER bad experience there over the weekend and quite honestly I don’t shop there often anyway so they don’t get my business at all anymore. Saturday I just walked away, I told them give me every coupon back and walked away. If Walmart does not care then why should I go there? Target and Kroger never hassle me over coupons so they are getting all my money!

    • Barbie

It is amazing to me how easy it is to use coupons at Kroger. I took in 6 BOGO Sobe coupons the other night (printed) and just KNEW that something would be said. They just scanned them and sent them through without a word.

I will still go to Wal-Mart to cherry pick the deals. I would like to have some of that next-to-free pie!

    • Mrs.A

I am done with Wal-Mart too! The cashier I had last week treated me like a criminal and it took over 5 minutes for her inspect every coupon before she would even scan them in. Then she proceeded to skip coupons that “wouldn’t work” and ignored one that didn’t scan in for the correct amount. It was an awful experience. She complained of being frustrated because I had so many (12). When I thanked her for her time and appologized for the hassel before I left she blamed it on my “stupid coupons.” I could not believe how unprofessional she was!

    • deezaphine

Seriously, Walmart is SOOOO condescending toward couponers…..I hate shopping there. Thank goodness for Smith’s (Kroger) who has extremely well trained cashiers and they make you feel like you are smart for couponing instead of taking shots at your dignity as they do at Walmart. I have drastically cut back on my spending at WalMart since I started using coupons.

Does anyone know where I can find the Clearasil Deep Cleaning Face Scrub for $0.97. I’ve looked where all the face wash stuff is and can’t find anything for that price. Are they located somewhere else in the store?

    • Mommyareed

It would be in the travel size isle, if your store carries that size-mine rarely carries sample sizes I find q’s for. Good luck.

  8. Nikki

Crest toothpaste is also on rollback for 1.50. So $0.50 after 1.00 coupon, I think from P&G, not sure which one?

  9. sarah

also… go to http://www.tryv8.com and get a $1/1 coupon. That would make the V8 splash $1.98 after coupon! I love this juice for my little girl because it has fruits and veggies in each serving! 🙂

Love that we can just print from Collin’s new Print feature now. Thanks so much Collin! You make saving so Hip!!!

  11. Wendi

So, I live in Washington and rarely can find the same prices at my local Walmart as are posted here on hip2save. Are Walmart prices regional? If so, does anyone know of someone who posts Walmart deals in the Eastern Washington area?

  12. Mommyareed

Wendi- I do believe many of the prices and items stocked are regional.

  13. Takako

KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce is NOT $1.42 as you posted above at my local Walmart. Instead, it’s $1.88 here!! I don’t know why the price is higher but the other local grocery store is on sale for 99 cents so I got priced match first then I used the coupon for $1/1 and final cost was FREE!! I got 6 of them and can’t wait to eat BBQ pork sandwich at 4th weekend!!

  14. Anonymous

I have heard different things about Walmart…..will they take internet coupons??? I thought someone said once that they were no longer accepting them….help please. (I know, I should call my store :-))

    • Lauren

My cashiers at walmart in augusta ga said their manager will not allow them to take them had to put like 10 things back and she made me rumble through the bags already in my cart

  15. Pam

Walmart is annoying and rude. Am I wrong here…?

I had a B1G1 on Snapple. Value up to $1.99, multiple sizes and varieties it’s valid for. Great, so each bottle is $1.00 at Walmart. Which means I pay $1.00 and get 2?

The people at my Walmart think that since the value is up to $1.99, I get $1.99 off. If each were like $2.19 would I then pay $2.19 + like $0.20 for the second one where I am only allowed $1.99 off?

I think that value is in place because it’s valid on multiple sizes. I tried explaining the concept, but two cashiers, yes 2 didn’t get it where I was coming from at all. I’ll stick to self-checkout so I don’t have to deal with the cashiers as much.

WILL NEVER COUPON AT WAL-MART AGAIN!!!! In my stack of coupons, I had about 6 coupons that were valued over $1.00 off the item, ie, $3.00 for Huggies, $2.00 for Combat ant killer. For EACH of those coupons, the cashier went through at least 10 pages of line item products for coupons that weren’t acceptable. I mean…SERIOUSLY??? After literally 10 minutes of holding up the line and waiting for her to look through her paperwork, I asked the cashier which coupons she was looking up and that I would not buy those items.

Good grief, Wal-Mart, we are not trying to rip you off! I thought the emails to upper management would help Wal-Mart, not make it worse!
