No SOBE B1G1 sale?? Man, all the great deals that were supposedly coming this week just aren’t coming true! 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

there should be the SOBE deal!!! i’ve read about it all week!! oh—- and how do i get the Rouge magazine?!?! i subscribed to it like 2-3 months ago, and still have not received the first issue… very frustrating… can i buy it anywhere/??

      • Melissa R.

I get Rouge, but all the coupons inside mine expired 6/30. It also didn’t have any cleaning coupons, just beauty type coupons like Olay and Covergirl.

        • AC

My Rouge magazine is all about beauty coupons too, no cleaning products coupons.

      • Emily

I’ve signed up for Rouge too, but nothing has ever arrived. Oh well. Maybe someday. 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      it is there…. it’s with the B1G1 Gatorade……

      • Christa K.

Phew! My happy week has returned. 😀 Super excited about the b1g1 sale — planning to take the softball team over to CVS after the game for a treat!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s on sale today goo get you sum free water….I got mine!! 🙂

  2. joycelyn

no more prints available for the dedorant also i may be wrong but aren’t the rouge magazine expired on 6/30.

    • Bonnie

I have a feeling she meant the Home Made Simple booklets.

  3. Melissa R.

For the Duracell, there’s supposed to be either a $1/1 or .75/1 coupon (depending on region) in tomorrow’s P&G insert, which would make them either .99 or $1.24.

  4. Melissa R.

Forgot to add, from the magic machine, I got $2/1 Bounty coupon, that will make the 8pk
    2.99!

    • robyn

THANK YOU for reminding me of that. i got that too!

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

can you buy Rouge from a store?

    • ashley

I dont think so, i think it comes in the mail only!

  6. Heather

I don’t see the peanut butter coupon….. Am I overlooking it or is it not there????

    • Julie

Me either… and hubby LOVES peanut butter! Any advice?

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It appears the Bausch & Lomb Biotrue Multi-Purpose Solution may have a higher limit. my receipt doesn’t say limit reached

    • Tara

I thought that this sale starts tomorrow? Do some stores let you get this weeks sales early?

      • Shelly T.

Check your CVS, many of them begin their deals on Saturday evening. You can still get the deals from that week also. hth 🙂

    • Abbie

      It is a limit 2!!

      • Jennifer S

Yes it is limit 2 I tried it today got one from one store and went to another store and got one more. 🙂

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

isnt there a huggies deal in the ad?

  9. Jennifer S

Can’t get coupon for Hefty from video it says click here at the end but then nothing happens. ugh!

  10. spcmartinm

    biotrue coupon on coupons.com $2/1

    • spcmartinm

      so that’s a $2 moneymaker

      • Jennifer S

No those say 10 oz or larger. So no MM. Sorry!

        • toni62864

Mine had a coupon in the box for $1/1 good on 2oz. or 4oz. Be sure and check yours..

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

the coupon inside the box actually EXCLUDES 2oz & 4oz….bummer!

  11. Shelly

Can’t you use the FREE Always coupon that printed out about a month ago at Walgreens (when you bought the kotexU pads) and get a bit of a MM on the Always?

  12. Darlene

I didn’t see the $1 Life Saver coupon – what zip code did you use? Thanks.

    • Jami

      I used 42086

  13. Jennifer

Can someone help me understand the limit on the Sobe? I am new to CVS shopping. Does the limit of 6 mean that I can buy 6 and get 6 free for a total of 12 OR I can buy 3 and get 3 free for a total of 6? Thanks!

    • Samantha

I would like verification of this as well. I think the limits are per “offer”, so in this case you could do 6 BOGOS and end up with 12 SOBEs, but please don’t go by me. =)

    • Melissa R.

Since they are BOGO, you get 12 bottles. 6 will be free with the store promo, the other 6 free with the BOGO coupon.

      • fran

I went to CVS tonight…you can buy 6, get 6 free for a total of 12.

        • Jennifer

Thanks everyone! That helps to know ahead of time! Wow!!!! 12 free Sobes here I come!

          • Jennifer

Also does anyone know the cost of a bottle of sobe before the coupon is applied? I am trying to figure out a deal for using my $4/$20 coupon as well without over spending so knowing the cost of a bottle of sobe before the coupon will really help me out! Thanks!

          • julie

1.79 so cost is 10 cents coupon is only good for 1.69 ….but keep in mind you might get a really a$$ of a manager like I did tonight… he said I would have to get 3 … makes no sense to me…calling corp asap lol

          • Shelly T.

Jennifer, the Sobe’s were a $1.59 each at my CVS in OK.

          • Amy

Sobe at CVS in Central IL was $2.09 …(which is completely crazy) but with awesome B1G1 sale got a bunch for free!!! Gotta Love free SOBE!!!!

    • Leslie F

YOU CAN BUY 6 AND GET 6 FREE, I JUST DID IT.

      • Jennifer S

Oh man I wish I would have read this before going to 2 stores to get 6 at each. Oh well will go again tomorrow. Thanks!

    • melissa

I got the same lamer mgr too! She said that I had to buy 3 so I went to a different CVS. The limit in the ad is 6 BUT the sale tags do NOT say a limit. They are $1.59 here in southern Ohio. HTH

  14. Samantha

Don’t forget the $2 Pantene shampoo coupons from the Parade magazine and use the $2 CRT if you have one to make it a moneymaker!

I also had some CRTs print out for $1 off Thermacare.

    • Shelly T.

My $2.00 Pantene coupon from the Parade last week was for styling or treatment products. I made the mistake of trying to use it tonight on the shampoo and conditioner. Is yours for the shampoo?

    • Roni

Vocalpoint sent me a $3.00/1 Pantene products in Spanish….some how I was signed up as Spanish Speaking (I do speak Spanish), I seem to get better coupons that way.

  15. ashley

I just got back from CVS, some things to note are the Biotrue is actually LIMIT 2!! =) Also, the hand renewal is also on sale for .99, if you use the 1.00 Qs from the mailers, its free!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks! I just came here looking to see if Olay Renewal was included in that $1 sale! I have a million Home Made Simple coupon books (I’ve ordered them every time there’s a new link and have them sent to everyone I know 🙂 Woohoo I’ll never pay for dish soap again!

  16. Josie

    The thermacare coupon expired 10/2009!

    • Tina in VA

My Thermacare (that I just printed out TONIGHT!) says it expired on 3/19/10. What?!?!

  17. Brandi

Okay, I have 3 questions about ECB.
    1. When I use the ECB that I have, do I present the receipt that shows the ECB or do I just give the card?
    2. Do the ECB add up on your card?
    3. Can you use the ECB on anything in the store like real money?
    Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The ECB’s print out on the bottom of your receipt. Cut them off of your receipt. If you get more than one ECB, you can decide when you want to use them. In order to use them you’ll need to present your card. I you lose your ECB you’re out of luck. They only track it on your card to see if you reached your limit. Yes, you can use the ECB’s like real money. There are some stipulations, like you can’t use them toward tax, prescriptions, gift cards, etc. They’ll state on the bottom of the ECB.

  18. DP

How do I get the Rogue Magazine? Also at CVS today the single packs of M&Ms were BOGO with my EC card and I used my coupons that were BOGO so I got 2 packs free..I love this website.

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone have a link to the CVS coupon policy? I looked on their site briefly and couldnt find it. I want to have it on hand for my next trip. Thanks in advance 🙂

    • Dionne

I don’t know if I’m allowed to post a direct link but I don’t think there is a “policy” on cvs.com. However, I Heart CVS has a wonderful guide to all the CVS coupons and how you can use them there.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you so much! I will look there and see what I can find. Happy 4th!!!

    • Julie S.

I don’t think they actually have a policy. I’ve emailed them in the past. 1 store coupon from receipt/kiosk and 1 manufacturer coupon (includes those on cvs.com) can be used per item.

  20. Dionne

Also, the Thermacare q that popped up for me, after registering via the link provided, is for $1 off, not $3. So much for that deal =(

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

the limit 6 on the sobe….. is that for the whole week?? or can i go back later this week and get more?

    • Krystal

The sale starts today and runs through Saturday the 10th.

    • Jennifer S

You can go back and get more. Its 6 per transaction. I went to 2 stores today and have a total of 12 already. All free!!! 🙂

      • Rebekah

no it is 12 total…..since it is tracked on your CVS card and the sale is only good with a CVS card

        • Rebekah

6 you buy and 6 free….which is where the 12 is coming from

          • Rebekah

I could be wrong but that is normally how it works with CVS

  22. Michelle

Did anyone get the peanut butter coupon to print? I can’t find it on the link.

  23. AMY

also dont forget that as of july 1 the next bunch of ebc earned for the quater will print (the one for 2% of what you paid and some much for scripts filled). i checked mine online and it’s like 5.50 but hey that’s 5.50 free money!!! you can print them on line or just wait till you get to the store and they will print. either way i’m happy! it’ll make some of these other deal stretch farther!

also just a hint to those who have food stamps… any food purchases you do make sure it’s a seperate order. i’ve have had trouble in the past using my food stamp card then trying to use ecbs. it wont let you.. so now i just pay for the food portion first, then use any obtained ecbs from that order to pay for the next non food order!! make your dollars work for you!

  24. Leslie F

I JUST SCORED 24 BOTTLES OF SOBE LIFE WATER FOR .20 CENTS. HAVE 44 MORE TO GO!!! I CLEANED OUT ALL MY CVS, NEED TO WAIT FOR THE TRUCKS TO COME WED TO RESTOCK, I’LL BE BACK!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

lol i’m actually a little shocked that no one has scolded you yet for getting more than the ad limit and for clearing out your store. while your shopping habits are not my style, no judging here (ok maybe a little), i am glad you dont shop at my CVS! I liked walking in today and getting a few free SOBEs.

    • Sadie

Help me understand, 20cents on 24 bottles would be less than a penny a bottle in tax. That doesn’t make sense.

I did 4 transactions and got 24 bottles total for $1.36. (7% sales tax) My cashier was very nice to be so patient. I only cleared out one variety and left the pomegranate.

    • Shannon

I did the same thing Leslie! (Well, almost) I also got 24 bottles for .20 cents. There were a few left. I got to the store right before closing. I went to another CVS in town & they didn’t even carry SoBe anymore. Sucks. Might be a good thing to call your store first & see if they carry it & if they have any in stock! Just an fyi.

  25. Leslie F

OH BY THE WAY, MY COMPUTERS EACH PRINTED OUT 25 SOBE COUPONS. I JUST KEPT HITTING THE BACK BUTTON.

    • muser

You’ve got the “back” button down, now try the caps lock button on your keyboard.

      • melissa

        *chuckles*

    • Lisa M

What settings do you have – when I hit the back button I only get the extra one. And what is the Caps Lock trick?

      • Julie S.

The caps lock trick makes all your letters BIG! 🙂

        • Ashley

The cap locks trick? What is this..and how do i do it?

    • Priscilla

Is the coupon still available??? I am unable to find it. I’ve checked 3 different links to sobe and can’t see the coupon link on their site. Help, please!

  26. Rock

I tried the M&Ms deal at our local CVS, and picked up two bags for 6 cents! Thanks for posting this!

  27. Nicolle

Just got 20 sobes for free 🙂 yippee!!!!!!!

    • Roni

How are people getting so many..the limit is 6…you should only be allowed to get 12 with the BOGO deal??? Play nice and save some for the rest of us.

      • Shannon

The limit is 6 per transaction! People are allowed to get as many as they want. It’s called “Stock Piling”. I’m going to get as many as I can ….so I don’t have to pay regular price any time soon.

      • melissa

You don’t need to buy them this week. You can get a rain check if your CVS store is out of stock. There’s no need to get upset if someone else is running from CVS to CVS stocking up. Just ask to speak with your manager. They have a SOBE rep that comes in. Ask him or her to order more. They will be happy to do so. I spoke to the manager while I was there Saturday. I told him about the print limit and warned him of all the couponers coming. He was happy to order extra. He said that I can pick mine up Saturday. I’m sure you’ll have the same experience.

    • julie

in the central california ad there was no limited listed. In 3 trips total we got almost 50 sobe’s!!!

  28. Elizabeth

I just returned from my CVS and a ton of 1 day only coupons printed out from the magic coupon machine. I also had $1.50 in ECB print out. So, make sure to scan your card today!

I scored $29.71 worth of items for .26 plus tax (a total of $1.69 including tax) AND I have $5 ECB for next time. Unfortunately my cashier forgot to scan my green bag tag so I didn’t get my $1 ECB for that, but that’s ok. (I didn’t notice till I got home.)

  29. FairyDust

I was kinda bummed when I went to CVS this morning, hoping to score free Bounty paper towels. I had a $2 Q from the magic machine and just enough ECBs to make the whole thing free, but the store was already completely out of Bounty. They had scads of other types of paper towels and lots of all the other sale items, but apparently the truck didn’t deliver the Bounty 🙁 Anyway, I did score free SOBE, so the trip wasn’t a total loss!

    • FairyDust

Oh yeah, and the magic machine spit out a 50-cent ECB and a $2/1 on any Pantene item, which will make a nice deal with the sale and coupon from today’s P&G insert!

I am curious to know how many coupon inserts people actually get a week? I understand a lot of you probably get a few, but I get really disappointed to read a deal only to find out that I need to have TEN coupons from the paper. Do a lot of people really buy that many inserts? It would be an interesting post/thread to have on the site sometime!

    • Melissa R.

Theres are lots of different ways to get multiple inserts.

First is asking friends & neighbors. You’d be amazed how many ppl DON’T even bother using coupons, much less flip through the inserts! I get 4 from my neighbors and another couple sets from my SIL’s mom (she gets her neighbors inserts for me!!)
2nd, my DH works where he has access to papers, and he was told it was OK at the end of the day to take whatever he wanted out of them. The guy who delivers to his job, just needs the front section to get reimbursed. So I usually wind up with anywhere from 1-10 extra sets of inserts when DH works on Sundays or gets to work early on Mondays if any papers are still left.

Another way is to ck your local library or coffee shops. Sometimes you can find strays. I know some ppl ask their gas stations what they do with their Sunday papers. Some let you take out the inserts on Monday or Tuesday. Or some stores offer Sunday papers at a discount price on Monday. Then there’s Dumpster Diving…where you reach into the newspaper recycle bins and dig through papers for the inserts.

Lastly, you can use Ebay or a coupon clipping service, like TheCouponClippers to order coupons that you need. I used to use CouponClippers (she has fast & reliable service), but I’m more picky about the deals I do now, so I use the trading section on HotCouponWorld to get what I need.

      HTH!

    • Amy

I typically purchase 2 papers per week, unless there is super awesome coupons, then I may purchase 3….

      • Roni

I do the same as Amy, I go to the Dollar Tree and purchase 1-2 papers.

    • melissa

      I get anywhere from 6 to 12 a week.

    • Michelle

Kristin since we can usually view the sales ads a few days ahead of time, you can order coupons on ebay or on coupon clipping sites for pennies on the dollar! Thats easier than buying 10 inserts cuz you can buy 20 coupons for 1.00 on ebay, and .99 shipping, etc…. cheaper than $20 in newspapers if you dont plan on using ALL the insert coupons anyways! 🙂

  31. julie

my CVS refused to take the coupons for the SOBE!

  32. jvkom

I have a question about $5 off $20 coupons. Can you use it on $20 before coupons or does your total have to be $20 after coupons?

Also, got my sobes! I went to two different stores bc I didn’t want to take too many from one store…I hate it when items are gone that I want so I don’t want to do it to someone else 🙂

    • Amy

When using those CVS coupons for $5 off $20 coupons or whatever the value off is….always hand that over to cashier 1st! Then hand your other coupons….so the amount you need to spend is before all coupons are deducted….which makes for awesome savings when you pair with other CVS coupons and manufacturers coupons. Key is to always hand the CVS coupons for $5 off $20 coupons over to cashier 1st!!!

      • jvkom

Thanks so much!! I messed up today but I will know for next time!

  33. Craig

I wonder on this ThermaCare item since its 2/$13.98 or so, if you can use that $5/20 CVS and get the deal. Hmmn…..

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Okay this has nothing to do with cvs but I have to share this deal!! At Winn Dixie they have the tampax compak pearl for 2.39 and there is a 2.00 off coupon in today’s paper!! So you can get them for .60 cents!!!

    • Melissa R.

      If they’re 2.39, using a $2 cpn makes it .39 cents, not .60 cents. 😉
BTW, I’m in the Metairie area! Good to see a local saver on H2S!

      • Elizabeth

Maybe she meant .60 including tax? My rate is 7% and that puts it at .55, so it’s a possibility 🙂

        • Melissa R.

          Ahhh, you’re right! Our tax is 8.75, which is .21 + .39 = .60. TY!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        That’s with the TAX!!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

@ Melissa that was including the tax….Hello Metairie saver lol 🙂

          • Tawanda!

Hey! It’s great to see a fellow NOLA person on here. Was this deal running for just last week or regular price? I’m at ta_mc@live.com. Would love to get together with a fellow couponer.

I did Sobe B1G1 deal at CVS today. They only had some of the flavors marked as being part of the B1G1 promotion but actually all of the flavors were included. Don’t forget to look for the black caps so you can enter codes online and get additional prizes!!

The ad has a limit of 6 so you can buy 12 Sobe, use 6 B1G1 and owe $0.00 on a single transaction. We did 3 transactions today and got 36 Sobe Water for ABSOLUTELY FREE. I LOVE this Deal!!

    • Shannon

Go you!!!! So awesome paying very little for an item. My non-coupon friends are missing out!

  36. Lori

I just have to share…as I am fairly new to CVS couponing…
Today, I paid $18.88 out of pocket for Prilosec OTC, Desitin, Tide, Duracell batteries, Dawn and a candy bar…Also, I received a free candy bar for completing a survey on the Pharmacy =) The magic coupon machine, printed $4/$20, and bunch of one day coupons for 07/05…

  37. Deb

I have been unable to print the $2 Post coupon since the first time it came up. Once I enter my email address, regardless of what computer I use (we have three), it tells me that I already printed it and that I cannot have another. Has anyone else run into this, or is my experience a fluke? I see these deals for Grape Nuts quite often, and would love to be able to do them again.

  38. Michael D

Just got back from CVS (SC) and got my free Sobes and made .50 on Pantene. They were on sale for 1/2 off ($2.49). I had my $2 coupon that printed from the magical coupon machine, and there was a $1 peelie on the bottle. I didn’t think the cashier would use the peelie b/c it was a CVS peelie and it said one coupon per transaction or something to that effect; but it went through. The cashier even laughed about it and said that they paid me to get it!

  39. Pat

My local CVS (E Bulter Rd, Greenville) magic machine printed out a $1.00 off on the Bounty and I still got the $1 ECB. Final cost was $4.99 for the 8 rolls – YEAH!! 🙂

  40. Melissa S

Re: Deb’s comment: “I have been unable to print the $2 Post coupon….tells me that I already printed it and that I cannot have another.”

I can’t get the Post coupon to print either and get the same message. I do remember printing one maybe about 6 months ago, so maybe the Post website has a long memory! I know that I have not printed one since that time.

    • Deb

      Thanks. 🙂

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just a heads up—-I think its crazy that people buy expensive brand name paper towels!!!!
Walgreens carries a brand called Tuf. Its $5 for a pack of 8. Alot of times it goes on sale for $4. These p. towels are awesome!!!! We go thru ALOT of paper towels….we foster animals so theres always a mess to be cleaned! I love Tuf brand! Their garbage bags are awesome too!!!

    • Melissa R.

I thought the Bounty was a good deal for me b/c I had a $2 coupon from the machine, a $1/1 homemailer coupon and rolling a $1 ecb, made it $2.99 for 8 rolls (or .37 each).

  42. Jenny Lynn

Frustrated! So the CVS stores in Arlington, VA and Bethesda, MD are not accepting the B1G1 Sobe Coupons. I drink the stuff like it is going out of style and am really disappointed. They are telling me that the coupons printed from SOBE.com are not legit-though I printed them from there. At first I thought it was a fluke because my ink was low when I printed the first couple, but no they just aren’t accepting them-anyone else having that problem?

    • shaws6

I say call or write corperate! They have responded to me very well…in the past. IF a coupon is legit-there is NO reason they should not take it! urgh

    • Jennifer

Had the same issue—want to contact corporate and need to find the email…..I was very bummed! —Charlotte NC

  43. Julianne

I had a bad expirience for the first time at CVS this week with the SOBE. I brought 12 SOBE to the front to check out, and the first thing the cashier said to me was “Well thanks, I guess that means I need to stock again.” I thought it was extremely rude, but smiled and continued. Gave him my coupons and he said “something just doesn’t seem right about this. It is a BOGO free sale, and you aren’t even purshasing 1.” I explained to him that he will be getting reimburessed for the SOBE from the manufacturer. He really didn’t want me to explain that to him. He was upset. But I guess I did get 12 free SOBE waters.

    • Lia

I would highly recommend carrying around the CVS coupon policy that you can print out on the internet regarding the BOGO free policy. I did the Sobe deal and the cashier and manager thought they could tell me that they do not accept BOGO coupons for the same items being purchased. I whipped out the CVS policy that I had in my purse and showed it to both of them and the hassle stopped.

Did anyone mention the free cortaid? A while back at walgreens there were these peelie coupon books on the benedryl and there were different coupons in it including $2 off any cortaid. I notice the large cortaid had tags with $2 off so I scanned the small ones that are 3.99 and they scanned 1.99 so I was able to use the $2 coupon but the cashier just had to adjust the last one. This would help get you to your $20 if you have a 4/20 plus get free cortaid. Also I got my johnson’s first aid kit and there is a $4 off 2 cortaid coupon in it.

  45. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

had my first bad expierence at cvs yesterday. had 6 sobe waters and gave her my 3 bogo and she told me they could only take one. couldnt give me an answer as to why even after i told her i have done this same transaction before. so i left empty handed.
