how do you submit for the $15 SCR? where did you find that SCR?

        • Melinda P

She’s talking about the Rite Aid skin care rebate valid from 5/30 to 7/24. You can find info on and submit for the SCR’s on riteaid.com.

      • Tiffany

The #555 says you must purchase “Any Neutrogena Skin Care and Sun Care Product” so you have to buy the combination to qualify. It also says “Rebate based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used)”. HTH.

        • christin

you’re absolutely right!!! thanks for pointing that out!

        • supersaversarah

Rite Aid rebates almost always say that but I’ve only seen a couple rebates they’ve actually deducted coupons from. 🙂

  2. Ashley

^^ wow thats awesome. I wish I had a Rite Aid around here!

Has anyone ever used these products? Any recommendations on which ones are good (or not good)?

    • Sharon B

I haven’t used the Clinical, but I use the Neutrogena Anit-Wrinkle cream (in the tube in the blue/white box) w/spf 15 everyday and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I use it on my hands too. I’m 57 and pretty much wrinkle-free. Have used this for many years. Walmart has it for about $10!! OK….I guess that didn’t help much for advice on the Clinical stuff. Sorry 🙁
But just fyi, CVS will give you your money back if you don’t like a product 🙂

  5. Melinda P

I haven’t used these yet – but definitely plan to try them out considering there’s such a good rebate – but I would suggest to stick with the SPF 30 (usually considered the Day product) unless you have a more complex skin care routine. The Night and Eye products do not have SPF. So, unless you are going to apply moisturizers twice a day – one for the day with SPF and one for the night without SPF – I’d say skip the Night stuff. And if you’re only going to apply moisturizer once a day, you probably will want SPF in the moisturizer you apply on the skin around your eyes, which is the most fragile, most prone to sun damage skin on your face. Using anti-aging products is pretty much useless if your skin is unprotected from the sun, which is a bigtime aging agent for your skin. So, that’s why I suggest for most people to stick to the “Day” product with SPF.

    • thecents2save

      Typo: I meant $33 moneymaker

  6. Collay

Hmmmm…Wags scenario won’t work as listed, considering the ad scan specifically shows that the Lifting Wrinkle Treatment System is EXCLUDED in the $5 off sale.

  7. Abby

I already use this product and sent away for their last MIR..is it possible to do this one, too? Or is it one of those..once I’ve done a MIR for them I can’t do another sort of thing?

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just keep in mind though that if you do go to Rite Aid to get this Neutrogena Clinical don’t be discouraged. Most Rite Aids don’t carry multiples of this particular item since it is highly theftable and costs so much. We don’t know about any of the Neutrogena rebates. We are not at all notified about any of those at all. You may have to go to multiple stores to find it.

  9. Maggie

No RA in my area has this product in stock — and they haven’t even seen it yet. However, I found it at Target for $35.99. Target has fully stocked shelves of this product, so if you can’t find it at the drug stores this week, you may find it there instead.

  10. NolaGirl

Sunday (7/18) is the last day for this RED HOT deal!

  11. Jessica

OK. I did this deal back in July:
    Walgreens
    Neutrogena Clinical Skincare $5 Off
Buy 1 Facial Lifting Wrinkle Treatment $39.99 (based on on-line price; should ring up $34.99)
Use the $5/1 coupon from the All You Magazine March issue or found here
    Pay $29.99
Submit for the Neutrogena Clinical Try It Free Rebate (next week only!)
    Final Cost FREE + a $5 moneymaker!

*** Got my rebate check in the mail 8/30/10 it was only for $29.99, the out of pocket amount I paid. So not the money maker that was listed above. They did deduct the $5 coupon that I used. 🙁 But i guess trying it free is better than nothing!

  12. maja

Did anyone receive the rebate yet? I am afraid it will never come….

  13. chyatt14

    I haven’t received mine either…

    • Rhonda

Got mine today and it was only for $26 and change. Looks like they did deduct coupons and maybe some RR I used. I’m a little annoyed!

      • Claire

I had the same thing happen to me. Mine was for just over 18 bucks because I used two of my RRs and the manufacturer coupon. Wish I could have used my RRs for something else and got the full refund back. :/

  14. kim

I got mine today and it was for $2.79 – my total after all of my register rewards were taken off!!!! ARGHGHGH!!! Does anyone have the original rebate and does it have a phone number on it? Thanks!

    • kim

Okay, so if that happens to anyone else, if you call the 1-800 # on the page under ‘contact us’ that comes up, I explained what happened and she said she was sorry, checked with her manager and they’re sending me another check for $35.99! Wow…I can even cash this one or void it. I may just void it b/c that’s great customer service!

      • Stacy

Thank you for this…I just called with an opposite result. The rep wouldn’t budge and said their website at the time said after coupons. We went round and round a little and I ended up hanging up on her. I will try again and ask for a manager.

      • Amanda

Kim, Could you please give us the 800# you called? Thanks 🙂

  15. Amanda

I also received mine in the mail today and it was for $24.90. That was what I paid after my coupon and ECB. The paper that my rebate check was attached to said the rebate was for the amount of my “out of pocket cost”. I too find it a little annoying!

    • Stacy

I think it’s wrong because it doesn’t say anywhere on the rebate form – after coupons and discounts. I have seen rebates that state that, this one does not. Not cool of Neutrogena!!! I called again and asked for a supervisor, customer service rep reluctantly got one for me and she said she would call me back tomorrow. I’m not really holding my breath. I plan to keep calling and escalating until I get some results!

      • Shelly

Did the supervisor get back with you? I haven’t received my rebate yet, but I’m anticipating a battle, as my OOP after ECBs was $.53. This makes be very angry with Neutrogena.

        • Sally

Shelly, My check was for $1.26. So I called Neutrogena on Friday and was basically told that’s just how the rebate center handled it, but a supervisor would call. No call back so I phoned again on Monday. This time, the customer service rep understood about the Register Rewards and assured me that a new check would be issued in 8 – 10 weeks. He also gave me a reference number in case I need to call back. So, be sure to call when you get your $.53 check!

  16. Judi

I mailed my rebate in on July 11th and haven’t received anything from Neutrogena as yet. The form said rebate in 6-8 weeks, but it’s been 9 already. How do I contact them?

  17. Ethel Moreland

I submitted my rebate form and all the needed items and bought the product when it was to be purchased. I sent in the rebate form on July 15th and to this date have not received my check for the purchase price.

Please let me know what has happened to my rebate checki. Thank you.

    • Mary

I haven’t recieved my rebate either. I just sent them a message and I’m going to call next week.

    • Erin

I STILL have not received mine. I called a almost two weeks ago….guess I’m going to have to call again. 🙁

  18. Sarah

I haven’t seen my check yet. Did your check say Neutragena on it? I got one check for like $3 and I didn’t recognize the company name on it and so I couldn’t figure out which rebate it matched up with.

  19. Maggie

The check says “2010 Neutrogena Clinical July Rebate” –you won’t mistake it for something else.

Mine was for $5. I’m pretty sure I used a gift card. What a lousy rebate policy — just goes to show how excellent P&G’s Olay rebates are by comparison. P&G earns my repeat business by being good to customers with its great rebate policy. This Neutrogena thing is a mess by comparison. I won’t be doing another Neutrogena rebate, that’s for sure!

I just called their 800 number, and they said they’ll send the message to the rebate center, and I should get an additional check at some point. They have no idea when. We’ll see….

  20. Rie

Wow, I finally got my rebate today! I called them 4 weeks ago and they took my contact info but was never contacted by them. I didn’t think I was going to get this rebate since I used a bunch of register rewards from walgreens and submitted an orginal walgreens rebate receipt which only shows my purchase price and doesn’t include coupons used or my OOP total. So I was pleasantly surprised to find a $34.99 rebate check in the mail today =)

  21. FrugalDarling

I just wanted to report that I’d received a check for $29.99 (full price minus only the $5 coupon I’d used) a while back. I didn’t complain or contact the company because I still got mine for free. But I received a second check yesterday for $5 dollars!! My guess is that they’re going back through the rebates and correcting their mistake. I certainly hope others get checks this week — especially those who had their ECB’s and RR’s deducted from their checks.

  22. Corrine R.

I did this deal in July at Rite Aid. I paid $39.99 used a $5 off coupon, $5off $25 and qualified for the skincare rebate. I got a check from Neutrogena in September for $34.99, yesterday I got another for $5. Seems like they are fixing things. I didnt call or contact them, it happened automatically. The new letter on the $5 check was confusing, it did not explain that it was in addition to a previous check.

  23. Jessica K

Got my rebate Saturday. Hurray! $39.99

  24. Barbara

I just called Neutrogena 1-800-582-4048 and spoke to customer service about my rebate. They are claiming they do not have the UPC code part of the box. I know I sent it because I always scan and copy everything that goes with the rebate and the UPC was scanned with my cash register receipt. I was told that on the rebate form they are not responsible for lost UPC codes. I have my rebate paper right here and it states they are not responsible for “lost, late or undelivered responses” which I assume to be the original letter not items lost from the envelope after it is delivered and opened. A supervisor is supposed to call me back in 24 to 72 hours to speak to me. If I don’t get my rebate due to someone losing my UPC code there how can I protest? Has anyone else been told this? I had called in the middle of October and was assured that I should have my rebate in 2 or 3 more weeks. Since I had not received it I called again today. They had not told me anything by letter or e mail. The rebate is for almost $40.00 since I bought mine at Wal-Mart.
