Amy’s Experience:
I decided to go with a friend and our kids to a local restaurant to use the restaurant.com gift certificate that I won on Hip2Save. I was excited to see that one of my favorite restaurants participated in the site. Right on the beach, it is a great place to go to enjoy the beautiful sites of our area. We enjoyed a yummy meal; they serve burgers, salads, soups, and fish, and a elaborate kid’s menu, too. Kid’s meals were $5 a piece and adult meals range from $8-15. The total was $45, and when the $25 gift certificate was applied, we all ate (2 adults, 3 kids) for a grand total of $27 (including tax and tip). Overall, the experience using restaurant.com was fast, easy and totally worth it. The only downside I would have for new users would be to carefully read all of the restrictions in using the gift certificate: days/times you can use it, what you must buy, how much the total must be before it can be applied, etc.
Sy’s Experience:
I searched for participating restaurants near our place on restaurant.com and found 5 of them within 2 miles, I was happy with the variety of choices and they all had good reviews. We picked a Japanese restaurant for dinner and invited friends to fill the $35 minimum purchase price. We ordered around 16 pieces of sushi and sashimi, 2 small rolls, lots of tempura, chicken wings, and eel on rice. The food and service was great. The bill was 42.49 after tax and tip(attached) for 4 of us, and we had enough leftovers for another meal. This is way cheaper than we’ve spent at sushi places before, I would be using restaurant.com gift certificates regularly.
