Target is selling a lot of their summer stuff 50% off. Just FYI…

I’m in Ky. and went to our local target Tueday this week, spent $7.23 on 16 items and saved $22.66. But I did find that not all items mentioned in deals were on sale the same at my target store and some items my store didnt have. For example the Olay body wash wasn’t on sale, it was full price. The Rhodes rolls and Red Barron Pizza and Yoplay Yogurt weren’t carried at my store. Over all it was a good shopping trip though!

i had the same problem. i dont have a local target, but we went to the beach (about 45 minute drive) and there is a target in that city, so i was super excited!! too bad it was a major let down when i got to the store. NONE of the things were on sale that were listed here. i still felt like i had a good trip, got about 50$ worth of stuff for 15$. i was really excited about the nexcare bandages for 1.14 or whatever it said on the list, but they were 1.89 i think. i still got a few packs, my kids will use them and were excited when they saw strawberry shortcake. i did get some freebies in the travel section though 🙂 although the cashier wasnt happy about it. she said they had the “new” computer system up and running, and that she shouldnt be taking the coupons because the register wasnt accepting them automatically, but she did anyway. she only refused 1 that wouldnt scan. oh well, not as bad as the stores around here treat you!

      • Aneta

Same here! NONE of the deals are at mine! The Nexcare bandages were over $2!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      same here…prices r high here.

yeah that Total Effects Olay Body Wash has been listed as part of “Price Cut” deals for about a month now. It’s on Price Cut at some Targets but not others. It’s always a little under 8 dollars here.

      • Tina in VA

The bodywash that is on price cut for $4.79 is a smaller size than the other one. The large one is almost $8.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Target has the smaller one for $5.79, It was still a nice deal when combined with the BOGO Ivory coupons.

          • Trudy

Same here– $5.79 for the small one. Boo!

I was at the Target in Wadsworth, OH last night. The Greenworks was $11.99.

    • Shevin

You just have to remember the prices are regional. She lives in Jacksonville N.C. (I believe) and the prices for things are less b/c cost of living is less.
Here in Orlando the Greenworks 90oz. is “on sale” from $14.99 to $11.99 and the Olay Total Effect body wash is also more expensive for us too. It’s still not a bad deal I think the coupon I had was for $4.00 off 1 PLUS you can use the buy one Olay body wash get one Ivory soap for free item free. So, not a bad deal at all, but I don’t need any more body wash & I was hoping to get them for FREE & donate them. The Pantene hair styling products aren’t even in out travel size section in the Target I usually go to. Of course I had a coupon problem….tried to use the $5 off when you buy 2 Benadryl/Neosporin/Zyrtec etc… & they would only take off $2.50?!?!? They said it was b/c the 2 Benadryl items I got (the itch relief sticks) didn’t add up to $5 or over. Of course I didn’t have my policy with me either, but I did tell them they can round down the price of the coupon & they will get the money back from the manufacturer. Oh well. :o( I’m not giving up on that deal just yet though, I’m gonna try & see what the prices are at Publix for those sticks & maybe get them there.

      • Lauren

My target wouldn’t accept the $4 off coupon along with the coupon because they said it was coupons for one item.

  4. Mitch

$6 total off of Greenworks is awesome, I hope it is not too overpriced when I check my NY/NJ Targets.

There was lots of toy clearance in our Target yesterday. We got PlayDoh Fun Factory for $5.58 – $2 online game coupon = $3.58 :).

      Which Meijer might I ask?

      • Rochelle

I live in southeast Michigan…They had the small size (not sure on the oz right at this time) ( I do remember it was for 30 loads) on clearance in the bottle returen area. I was able to use all of my coupons…

  6. Rochelle

Not sure who lives by Meijer, but they have Green Works on clearance for $4.67 and with the $3 coupon, it takes it down to under $2…I bought 4! Can’t beat that!

  7. Janice

I wanted to do the Green Works deal but my coupon says it has to be the 96 oz size. My store only had the 60-oz size and that was like $13.99!

  8. Lana

Is there a way online to print coupons from the PG’s and the Parade magazine?

    • Christina

Not that I know of but you can buy whichever coupons you need for very little (like a few cents) from lots of sources online, including eBay. If it’s a money maker deal it might be worth it…

  9. Joyce

I cannot find the Target biotrue coupon on target’s website. My son wants to buy this but don’t see the target coupon.

  10. betty-jo

    step2 water table was $24.

  11. raerae

The Biotrue (4 oz. bottle) is $4.00 at Walmart (in Texas) and right next to it was a coupon for $4.00 off one = free.

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I couldn’t find the $4 off coupon at walmart…but i was able to get the 2oz bottle free at walgreens…i went into the vision center at walmart and got a booklet of the biotrue, and inside was 2 coupons $3off bigger size and $2off of the 2oz…well right now at walgreens the 2oz is $2.99 but in the ivc booklet there is a $1 off, pair it up with the $2 off and you get the 2oz bottle free!!!

  13. Salina

Had my worst ever coupon trip the other day at Target; I’ve never had issues at Target. The computer was not taking a lot of my coupons and the cashier refused to manually enter them. She called the Manager over and they both gave many excuses to why they couldn’t use them. I tried the Purina cat treats deal with the $1.50/2 but they said the coupon could not be used on a sale item! I also used the Johnson & Johnson Red Cross coupon $3/2. I had one item that was over $3 and I had to fight to get them to manually enter it. I had several more and one included their coupon that comes out in the inserts! This is out of Amarillo, TX and this is the first time that I have ever had difficulty and I’m at a point where I am not sure if I want to return there.
