    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      awesome! Thanks!

  1. Maggie

Don’t forget to use that $3 Cover Girl RA store Q that came in the packet of P&G coupons you may have received in the mail if you qualified for it with last month’s RA SCR deal (if you purchased so many dollars of P&G, you got a Q booklet automatically through SCR). It says “manufacturer coupon” but the UPC starts with “RC” just like all the in-ad RA coupons, and they have been scanning just fine stacked with mfr Qs.

  2. April

I have a question about the video value coupons. Can you use a manf. coupon, riteaid in-ad, and video value coupon at the same time? I’m new to the video value coupons, this is the first week for me to use them. Thx

    • Mrs. B

      yes you can.

    • Devin

I tried and they wouldn’t let me, all 3 coupons listed to use say manufacturer, I tried to point out it says RIte Aid on it, I was able to get her to let me use 2 out of the 3, still a moneymaker but not as much as I had planned.

      • Cindy

You can use all three. I emailed Rite Aid and they certainly will take all three. I keep a copy of the email in my Rite Aid envelope. I’m sure the cashier had never seen someone try to use all three. Seems too good to be true.

        • Alana

Yeah, I have an emailed response from them that says you can, but my Rite-Aid says they follow their own policy ..they no longer accept BOGO coupons on BOGO sales anymore either. Since this is the only Rite-Aid, I’m abiding by their rules.

          • Jaime

The general manager of my Rite Aid told me that I could only use one RA coupon, which means I have to choose whether to use a video value or the In-aid in conjunction with a manufacturers coupon.

  3. Valerie

Beware! RA cash register’s now can figure out if you have used the RA Video Coupon before or not. You no longer can use multiple video coupons. My $5/$20 off wouldn’t work this week, as I used it last week.

    • Tara

yes as of july the VV are coded for one time use

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you have the $5/20 that expires July 24th you could use that one. Also dont forget you can print 2 $5/25’s from redplum.com

    • San

Can I print two $5 off $20 coupons from different accounts? (I signed up for my husband as well.)

      • Cindy

Yes, I have a few VV accounts with different email addresses. That coupons that print are coded with different bar codes.

        • linda

so it’s not linked to your wellness card??

        • Julie S.

Do you have several wellness cards too? Will they take the different vv coupons on one wellness card?

          • Kelli

yes they will- i have one for hubby and on efor me- only ever use my wellness card never have any problems

          • Alana

For the one time use video coupons, it’s ONE PER CARD. Even if you obtain another coupon through a different account, it won’t work with your card.

          • Cindy

The VV coupons are not limited to one per card. You just need to make sure you obtain your VV coupons from different accounts, with different bar codes at the bottom. I used of the Zenegrid coupons today, with my same wellness card, with no problem.

Alana, it sounds like you have a strict RA.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

FYI- In the Ad-Perk terms of service that you have to agree to in order to have a VV acount under #3 it is stated, “Accounts are limited to one per person.” Don’t know if Rite Aid can figure out if a person has multiple accounts, but I don’t want to find out what would happen if they did find out!!! I’m totally bummed that they started tracking those darn $5/20 coupons!! I’ve saved so much money with those!!!

    • Megan

Only the $5/20 are working 1X, the others can be printed and used as much as you want. I have had success with all the other coupons being used multiple times, just not the $5/20.

  4. ms.brilliantblonde

There is also a $4/1 Dulcolax Balance any size MQ from the coupon inserts (don’t know which one or which week) (exp. 8/31/10). So, if you don’t have the All You coupon, it’s better than the IP. 🙂

Thanks so, so, so much for the match-ups Collin! 😀

    • Kelly

      5-16 SS

  5. Chantel

Has anybody done any of the Post-It rebates? Do just the post-it pads work or do they have to be the labels?

  6. Ana Mata

Does anyone have the Wahl hair clippers video values Q they woul dbe willing to share?

  7. Tiffany

Okay, I’m sure there’s a better place for this. But…someone help me please. I started couponing, used the ol’ “Will I buy this or will I use it if I can get it for free?” Question. What happened? I ended up keeping EVERY coupon. Coupon Binder? Tried it. FAIL! Ended up throwing ALL coupons out three different times because they were expired. I have thrown away at least 75 newspaper inserts, having used a grand total of 5 or so coupons out of each. As of late, it seems like I have purchased numerous papers, only to have them stacked up waiting to be moved to the binder. Then I get angry and throw them all out. Another issue…it does not take 15 minutes like another blog says, each week, to “sort clip and get ready for a trip”. It takes HOURS. And when I say that, I mean that I have spent upwards of 3 hours sitting organizing. Then at least an hour or two just getting ready for each trip!! HOW DO I MAKE THIS WORTH IT??? I love it, but am about two seconds from just doing all my shopping at Winco, couponless. Someone help, thank you:)

    • Cindy

I never cut coupons until I know I’ll use them. I just write the date on top of the insert and stash them away. Then after three months I throw the inserts away. It does take a lot of time to cut and organize those coupons, especially if you find you’re not using them.

Yes it does take a lot of time to organize for trips. It does get easier with time, but the high of saving money is always worth it for me. I consider it a hobby because it does take up enough time like another hobby would.

      • Mrs. B

I dont clip either. Many blogs will label what coupon you need by 4/18 SS. I have a binder and I keep my inserts labled by date and SS, RP, P&G…etc. It takes literally a minute to label and put them in the binder. Then when collin posts her deals I just go the the insert and clip.

    • Teya

I suggest you don’t clip your coupons unless you know you’re going to use them. You lose out on ymmv clearance deals, but it’ll save you a lot of time. Many deal sites will have the newspaper insert (SS, RP, PG, etc.) and the date of the newspaper (ex: 7/18) . If you have your inserts organized chronologically (which shouldn’t take much time, just put the new ones on top as you get em) then it should be easy to find! I put all the coupons I’m using for a trip in an envelope, at the store I go through them as I put items in my cart, and then at the cash register I hand all of them to the cashier. Hope this helps

    • BrandyK

I don’t clip anything unless I am going to use it.

Binders are great for people with no kids and who only have one or two papers worth of inserts to clip.
For me? no way. I buy/colelct about 20 inserts per week, so that’s unreasonable.

I have a filing cabinet and I simply pull the inserts out, stick them in a manilla folder labeled with the date “5/16/10 SS” and then stick it in the filling cabinet.

When I sit down (Saturday night for drugstores) and put together my shopping list, I go and pull the q’s I need for each store and put together my list and the q’s to go with it, in order of transaction.

      easy peasy.

I have a Huggies wipes box sitting n my desk for q’s I clipped but ended up not using.

      HTH!!!

      • BrandyK

oh also, I have clear pouches that zip up (kind of like pencil pouches that go in binders) – one for each place I shop. I shove all those into a reusable bag and carry that bag everywhere. 🙂

      • Tara

        I do the same!

        • Tiffany

Thanks everyone for all your help! This should save some time! At one point I had a huge stack of inserts and got mad and dumped them all in the trash! I wanted to do the clearance finds, but I just don’t have time for that. Thanks again!!

      • Chris

Everyone needs to find their own style and decide how much they need to save. I have 5 kids and get 5-15 inserts per week but I cut and file my coupons in a binder each week. I find I set aside an hour or so on Sunday. While filing the new ones, I pull the old ones. Then when I make lists per store, I don’t have to pull the coupons, just take the binder. That way I am ready for clearance finds (which often make a HUGE financial difference). Yes it takes some time, but with the money I save it is definitely worth it.

        • Renee

I feel like this is my comment!
I also have 5 kids, and do the binder. I have only been getting like 3-4 papers a week, so not as many as some other people…. I don’t want to pay that much, guess I need to get better at finding the coupons!
The clearance buys are my pot of gold!! Rite Aid always has a HUGE clearance bin that I just make a killing on! 🙂

  9. theDealyo.com

The Sure Deodorant “Try Me Free” rebate expired a few months back. They have taken the website down.

    theDealyo.com

    • Gina

if you do to the link collin posted next to the sure deodorant, it pulls up the rebate form, and the rebate has not expired yet… although the website was not working last time I tried.

    • Maggie

I emailed Sure customer service when the website wasn’t working last week, and they emailed me a PDF of the current rebate form. I’m sure that’s what is scanned at the link Collin linked to. The rebate is definitely not expired though — you just need to get the current form.

  10. Marva

Where do you access the June Video products – I believe the videos are for the July products now. I could not find the Wahl video Also, does anyone else have trouble loading the videos? I have had trouble for several weeks. I was in a couple of times today and now it won’t load.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You would have to watch the videos during the given month, but your coupon list on the vv site will keep a list of all the videos u’ve watched and gives u access to print them until they expire. I personally have not had problems watching videos, but make sure any pop up blockers, net nanny, or firewall settings are changed to allow content to run.

    • Mrs. B

      thanks!!!

  11. tami

has anyone heard anything about you being limited on how many UP rewards that you can get per card. I have seen posts on other blogs that rite aid is now limiting how many you can get on each wellness card. If this is true, then that will really suck this week. I bought alot of Zegerid & motrin coupons in anticipation of this coming week. Please tell us if anyone has heard anything.

    • Cindy

There is no limit that I’m aware of. A few months back they were running the Huggies up+ promo in my area and I was able to roll the up reward dozens of times without a problem. As long as you’re buying the right items, you should have no problem.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Starting this week there is a limit of one UP reward per product per wellness card. (They are tracking them through the wellness cards) This morning I did 2 transactions both had the zeterig, Motrin, and Pantene. For the first transaction my UP rewards printed for the second they did not. The Manager made a few phone calls and was told they are one per customer and are tracked through the wellness card. I sent a message to Collin so she could post this change for everyone.

        • Cindy

Whoa! That stinks! I wonder how easy it would be to get another Wellness card?

          • teri

I tried it today and I only got one up+ reward to print with my wellness card. Rrrrrrrr, what a week to change that rule!

    • Bonnie

You know the funny thing is, I did two transactions today, both with Pantene and the Zegerid. The pantene up reward printed both times but the Zegerid only once. Weird. I’m taking it back later and I will ask what happened, but I am sure I will hear that the limit is now one per card. Bummer. . . and I was just starting to love Riteaid.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did not get the zegrid $7 UP reward on my second purchase. I’ll be returning it.

  12. Kathryn

I was wondering if anyone knew a way to print off the $5/$25 coupon, without all of the blue behind it. I really hate wasting ink, thanks 🙂

  13. Laura C

The Duracell batteries can be even better!!! Go on the lookout for peelies! There were tons of them for $1 off each package and better yet they are Rite Aid coupons so you should be able to stack them with your manufacturer coupons! I bought 5 packages today and was so excited about the peelies that I forgot to use my MQs but I only had two anyway so I won’t fret that little bit…I’ve seen these peelies at two different Rite Aids, so they are out there!

    • Emily A

      Laura,
If you take your receipt and your mq’s back to Rite Aid within a few days, they will credit you the value of your mq’s.. I’ve done this when I’ve forgotten a coupon, and they honor it. I just tell them I forgot to use them. No problem.

      HTH

      • Julie S.

I was scolded and told that they are not coupon cashing stores, when I forgot a coupon. I try to avoid that RA, even though it is the closest and is open latest.

  14. Kari

So I just bought an aveeno ageless vitality because my store still didn’t have the neutrogena ugg. I got home and looked through all my papers and just realized that the rebate was due 7/15 double ugg!

I read through last week’s Rite Aid post and a reader named Sarah said, “FYI the Aveeno anti-aging doesn’ have to be purchased by today (7/15), the rebate says you can purchase by 8/31 and submit by 9/15. so you can still get it! :)”. I’m really hoping that Sarah, or someone else can advise me where to find the extended rebate that ends 9/15? If you know could you please please let me know, Thanks!

    • Tina

Go back to Collin’s last week post, find the deal idea for Aveeno Ageless Vitality (it’s marked in red) and follow the link for the rebate. It will give you the new one.

  15. Donna

FYI sundown vitamin coupons NO PRINTS LEFT

  16. couponlovingmommy

no smooth move coupons left either

  17. Susan M Rogers

I just looked at the MIR form from the 6/20 SS and it says that they will “reimburse your purchase price Minus any coupons or discounts” and you obviously have to send in the receipt. Has anyone tried this? Will it work for the Rite Aid deal this week as a money maker?

    • Cindy

I’ve heard some people saying you could get $6.00 because you minus just the manufacture coupons — the other coupons you’re using for the Zenegrid are Rite Aid coupons. I say it’s worth a try.

    • Julie S.

I’m wondering what will happen too. I had some items in my order that I had coupons that made them free, and some that were mostly covered because of the $5/$20 coupon. My OOP was really small.

  18. Kathryn

The covergirl mascara/eye shadow did not work for me. The LashBast Fusion is still 9.99

    • Sara

Didn’t work for me either 🙁

      • Collin

Apparently, the sale on the LashBlast mascaras this week did not include the LashBlast Fusion Mascara :(. Now that several of you have brought this to my attention, the CoverGirl deal scenario in the weekly deals has been changed to reflect that. Sorry about the confusion.

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

just a heads up…many of the +Up Rewards are not printing. My rite aid told me that they would adjust the original price down. However I had all of my transactions figured to just over $25 in order to use the $5 coupon and this totally threw them off. They would not let me use the $5 coupon because now my total was less than $25. Major bummer!!

    • Cindy

Did you try to do more than one transaction with the same UP + reward? I heard they are only printing once per wellness card.

  20. Jenny

Where is the Zegerid in ad coupon?

    • teri

Page 4 of the ad, 2nd coupon in.

  21. M

Just called customer service. They are changing the up rewards starting August 1st to 1 reward per card. They said they should still be per transaction until then.

    Heading to Rite Aid!! 🙂

    • Cindy

It must already be in effect, because it didn’t work for me today.

    • Megan

Had trouble with it just today, so they put it into affect early!!

  22. Cindy

I just called customer service also. Purchased Zegerid more than once. The first time it worked the other two the Up Rewards did not print. Just be warned this is all ready in place and they tried to explain that it says that in the circular…that is for the actual coupon itself which I didn’t even use.

  23. Holly

My RiteAid is all out of the AA and AAA 8 packs 🙁 No wonder, since the wellness card takes off another dollar from their sale price!

  24. esther

can u actually use in ad, plus video, plus manufacturer coupon on the zegerid item? pls email me thanks

  25. Cindy

Yes you can! It’s questionable to some Rite Aid managers, but if you have an email from Rite Aid stating you can do so, it sure makes it easy. The coupons don’t even beep – it’s very slick. This is what Rite Aid had to say in an email:

“Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Yes, you may combine a
Manufacturer Coupon + Rite Aid (Video Value) Coupon + In-Ad Coupon towards
the purchase of a single item as long as the coupons redemption does not
exceed the cost of the item. *All coupons offered through Video Values,
MyRiteAid & Wellness+ are considered ‘Rite Aid Coupons’. “

    • Kirsten S.

That is so good to know — thank you! I went to RiteAid today to get the Zegerid, and the cashier used the two $3/1 coupons (the manufacturer and the video values) and then said I couldn’t use the $4/1 that was in-ad. I am new to couponing so I got very flustered and doofusy and all apologetic and embarrassed, but I know that Collin knows what she’s doing when she posts these scenarios, so I finally said, “Can you check it to see if it’ll work?” The cashier did and it did (I assume it won’t let the sale continue if the coupon isn’t accepted, right?), but she wouldn’t look at me the rest of the time, and I went out of there worrying that I wasn’t being honest with my fellowmen! So I am glad to hear that you can use all three at once. Thanks thanks thanks!

  26. Cindy

So, I tried a little something crazy today…..

I signed up for 3 new Wellness cards at Riteaid.com It gives you the option to print out a temporary card. So I printed up my temporary cards and headed to Rite Aid. I did three separate transactions and got a $7 up+ reward on the Zegerid each time. We’ll see if I get all three cards mailed to me — that may just be the way around this limit is to have more than one wellness card.

  27. Valerie

Here’s what I wrote to RA:
I’m trying to understand the Wellness Rewards Program. I purchased 4 cans of
    Planter’s Peanuts yesterday and one J&J Red Cross Pads. I received 2 – $1
    +up certificates. Why didn’t I receive a $1 +up for each can of Planter’s
Peanuts? The +up is a little confusing. Please explain. Thanks, Valerie

    Here’s the comment:

    Valerie,
I am sorry about that. I am mailing the coupons today!

    Thanks for enrolling! ,
    Kyle Cromwell
    Rite Aid Customer Support

    So now I’m so confused!

    • Julie S.

As far as I’m aware, ALL of the offers are only for one +Up rewards OR one +Up reward Per transaction.
So, you might have been able to get another one for the peanuts if you did them in separate transactions. I think you lucked out with getting Customer Service to send you a coupon! I’ve read that some people have had the manager refund them the money.
I can’t believe that Customer Service didn’t give you any real explanation, but getting the coupon is good… for now.

  28. Cassandra

OK, I have a question about the new Rite-Aid policy. Since you can only use 1 vv coupon per wellness account does this also apply to the PDF $5/25 purchase coupon? I thought since it was a PDF coupon you could use it until is expires. Any help would be great.

  29. j

On the Neutrogena senario posted. Can you use the in-ad (manufacutures coupon) with the printable manufactures coupon? They both say manufacutures coupon on them, though the numbers vary slightly. Just wondering if anyone had any sucess with this. Thanks

    • Alexis

The in ad one has a code that starts RA…meaning it can only be used at Rite Aid… Their coupon policy says you can stack RA coupons and Manufacturer coupons.

  30. Alexis

So it appears from the comments that RA has changed the policy so that only one UP reward will print per card. Okay. Here’s a related problem I had yesterday: when I went to pay my $10 total with all UP rewards (a bunch of $1 and $2 ones), the cashier told me that I could only use one per transaction. I had already “argued” with her to get her to scan three coupons for the Motrin, and there was a long line behind me, so I didn’t push it b/c I could tell she was getting really annoyed. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue…b/c I don’t think it makes sense…

    • SenoraE

My cashiers have all told me they can only scan them up to the amount of $… so no overages / $ back. HTH!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi,

I have had that happen to me also, only one up reward per transaction. I have never tried to do multiple transactions at my Rite Aid. I feel like I am the only person to ever use coupons at my small rural RA so I don’t push it. It is embarassing enough to constantly walk back in to get my $1 back or have a bygo corrected. I did try to use a $1 and a $2 up reward but was told only one.

  31. Janelle

Hi all, I just got off the phone with Rite-Aid corporate, and as of August 1 they are only allowing one transaction per customer for EACH +UP reward. That may be why people are having trouble with +UP rewards not printing, as they are starting to switch the computers over. Now, even if you ring them up on separate transactions, if you’ve already done that deal, you won’t get the +UP rewards again. Bummer! Thought you all would like to know.

  32. Diane

Can we use more than one of the same UP to pay for a transaction, for example if I had 2 of the $7 UP from Zegrid, could I use both $7 (totalling $14 in UPs) to pay for something?

    • Julie S.

It worked when I had two $2+Up from Huggies, so I’m assuming that it would work for others.
But who knows. They might get it set up where you can only earn and redeem one of each kind per card.

  33. Sean

I have had a bunch of issues, even the manager telling me I could only use one $5/$25 per month. Heads up also on CoverGirl, you will have to PURCHASE two CG products to get $5. If you purchase mascara and get the enhancer free, you will not get $5 rebate. You will get $2.

  34. Juliene

I got the sure deodorant and the Zegrid but need the reciept for both rebates what do I do???

    • Randi

you might want to return one of them and re-buy it so you have 2 receipts.

  35. julie

i have 2 wellness cards so i split up my purchases, anyone know if the UP’s are tied to the wellness like with CVS?

    • Julie S.

They weren’t for the huggies from May, but who knows now. You might want to try and see (with a small amount).

    • Cindy

If you have different wellness cards, it will print another up+ reward for you.

      • Michele

I went to RA today and did one transaction. Amongst other items I purchased 4 Men Niveas and 3 Reach toothbrushes. I wasn’t expecting to, but I received 4 Up rewards for the toothbrushes and 3 Up rewards for the toothbrushes on the same receipt. I hope I will be able to use them all.
