What is an easy rebate is it instant?

    • Rhonda

You enter your receipts online and they send you a rebate within 4 – 6 weeks-

  2. Rhonda

Being a teacher, I have been able to get more than the limit of 2. I think it was 20 for each item but call your store ahead of time to ask-

    • Rhonda

I forgot to add it’s everything except the easy rebate items they are limit 2 per household

    • Rebecca

My Staples store allows teachers to get 25 of any of the special items! It works out great, because then I am able to get a class set. I LOVE Staples for back to school shopping!

If I did the easy rebate for Hammermill copy paper I purchased in May, can I also participate in this rebate? It sounds like it is the same paper, but maybe a different rebate?

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If I did the photo paper rebate deal last week will I be able to do it again this week? I guess what I am trying to say is that I am not sure if the rebate limits are monthly or weekly. Thanks for any help you can offer! These deals are making shopping for my first very own classroom MUCH cheaper (which is good cause we all know how paychecks look for teachers lol).

    • Debbie

      I have that same question????

  5. Maureen

With all the free and almost free school supplies lately I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that Do Something 101 has drop off boxes at Staples where you can donate any extra school supplies which will be distributed to kids that need them!

    • Craig

Aaaw crap! ya bet me to it! lol. I just emailed Collin about this wonderful program. How cool is this! MM items plus you get to help out others in less need! WIN WIN!! H2S makes it happen!!

      • Craig

Hopefully Collin will make a post about this so its out in the open for everybody to see incase they miss these postings here ya know. 🙂

  6. Alana

    Kelley, Lisa,
If you bought the easy rebate items previously, you can still participate in this one! The deals are by the advertised date, so it’s a ‘different’ rebate!

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Thanks Alana! 🙂

Has anyone heard about a $4 coupon from Kmart good for OYNO when you buy $15 in certain back to school supplies and $8 when you purchase $25 or more. I know that crayola products is suppose to be one of the items but not sure what else is included?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did the deal and used my Kmart Rewards Dollars (about $3) and used my $10 coupon I got from the double weeks when I bought $35 worth of P&G products. After the purchase, I did not get either a $8 coupon or a $4 coupon. The cashier and I looked at the fine print and it is not real clear but you have to buy $25 dollars worth of products before coupons and other discounts to get the $8 coupon. The printer paper was not a bad buy but limit is 4. The other items are on the “high” price for back to school prices. In the end I decided not to purchase the school supplies because I felt I could get better deals in the coming weeks on the items. Some of the items were not too bad a deal like 36 pencils for $1. I returned the items and the cashier was very nice. A lot of trouble for them!!!

The school deal goes until August sometime. If I get another $25 gift card from Kmart with a prescription, I might consider it. If the $8 coupon is like the $10 coupon then you have to wait a week to spend it and then you only have a time frame of a week to spend it. I only shop Kmart when they have really, really good deals so the limitations of the coupon is restrictive. When I got the $10 coupons I got 3 and I made plans ahead of time how I was going to spend them (vs. trying to roll them into another deal). I tried to roll one coupon into the school deal but it did not work (for me). Just my words of wisdom. I think the products are quality but I was not ready to spend that much OOP so early in the back to school sales season.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

With Kmart I have learned that I have to plan ahead carefully what I want to purchase due to the restrictions. I can’t really bargain shop at Kmart like I do Target or CVS which have a little less restrictions. I like my Kmart but I really have to work at getting the bargains there (and keeping OOP to a minimum) but that is OK with me.

So, the .25 glue is through Wednesday only, but are the rest of the items good through the 24th?

  10. lisa

Thank you so much Alana! I am excited now!

    Nature Made…Cholestoff $10.99 BOGO -3.00/1 x2 -5/15 CVS coupon = FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo!

    • april r

how’d that happen…I was just on the cvs link lol sorry weird..

  12. Sheyanne

Are you allowed to use the staples rewards to pay for the paper that has the easy rebate? And still be able to get the rebate.

    • KP

Yes you can, I’ve done that before with no problems!

  13. Anna

I went to Staples this am and tried to use the Office Depot coupon. Although they accept that coupon I was told I could not use it on special promotional items, like the penny glue and what not. Has this happened to anyone else?

  14. Trish

How does the rebate work? Do you actually get a check back or is it store credit?
