I got this at this price last week, and my 11 month old grabbed the handles and immediately started toddling around! So cute! (and scary, because I think he’s just about ready to walk on his own, haha)
my niece has had this since christmas ahe just turned one yesterday and still loves it she knows how to ride backwards on it but since she can walk she does not care about that part
not to sound negative, (just my honest opinion) but I used this for both my sons, (they were quick and early walkers, 7 and 10 months old) and as soon as the baby would LEAN any pressure on it and try to “walk”, it would FLYYYY out forward from under them and they’d fall on their faces on the floor. It would not support the babies weight, the tires rolled too easily. Then it was almost impossible for a baby to sit and “Scoot” on it, without running over their own two feet which lined up perfectly with the tires. I do not often complain about much, but in my personal opinion, this was not well designed and is a waste of money. By the time they were OLD enough to walk or ride on it, they were in fact too OLD and bored silly with it.
I second this!
i kinda agree jodie but my 10 mth oild got 1 forxmas she loves it the design could b better got a really good deal and she loves it so its worth it i found it on clearance for 10 and had a 5 q so 5 was well worth it
Picked one up for my newphew as a Christmas Gift. Thanks for the heads up Collin!
Thanks Collin! I was trying to decide what I was going to get a friend for an upcoming baby shower! Perfect timing 🙂
I picked one of these up at a resale shop for $4 & I see them at garage sales & consignment shops on a regular basis. My son used it a lot when he was just starting to walk with assistance. It’s a sturdy little toy, but I definitely agree it could’ve been designed better. My biggest complaint about it was that there are two legs sticking out towards the kiddo as they walk (the part attached to the back wheels) & there isn’t very much room between them for walking. My son was constantly stubbing his poor little toes on the legs. He got a fisher price push & ride toy where the handle is on the back of the vehicle & it worked out a lot better for walking. Anyway, thought I’d throw my .02 in.
EXACTLY- they can’t MOVE their legs forward because there is a plastic bar across where their shins hit!! 🙁 It’s like trying to walk against a WALL!
I just ordered this from Walmart for the same price a few weeks ago.
I managed to snag this for $12 at Christmas last year by price matching and using a Target q and a man q. My daughter has been using it for a little bit now, and loves that she can scoot herself backwards on it. I do agree with the others that it could be designed a little better, as it rolls just a little too easily, and there isn’t a lot of room for them to move their legs when pushing it. It kinda forces my daughter to take itty bitty little steps, or giant steps if it starts moving too fast. I think she will enjoy it more as a riding toy once she gets it going forward.
