Photo Book Ten 6×8 pages $7.99 = $7.99 Ecb (Limit 1)

Here are some tips for making a great photo book:

  • First decide what books you want to make. They have themes that you can choose from or you can design your own.  Gather anywhere from 10 to 50 pictures for each book. The books are 10 pages and 6×8 in size. You can add more pages but it costs you money. Edit your photos at home, reducing red eye and cropping; it is easier at home than on their machines.
  • Now put your pictures on a disk or jump drive. Take the disk to your store. In the photo center, there are kiosks from kodak. Sit yourself down on one and follow the directions! Make sure you choose 6×8 photobook. You can add text and choose a theme for your pages. You can choose the color for your backgrounds and arrange pictures. You have the ability to minimize and enlarge each photo. Only put the photos you want to use for this project on your disk so you don’t have to wade through a ton of other photos to get your book done.
  • When you are satisfied with your book, hit submit and it will print right there for you. The photo lab person will assemble it for you, the whole process should take about 20-30min.

  1. hannah

    good morning!
yesterday i went to cvs to use a $1ecb. of course i scanned my card when i arrived and that little old magic coupon machine gave me two fun coupons! a $2 off planters peanuts and free dove candy bar! SO, i got a jar of peanuts, a dark dove bar AND raisins(with ecb) for 53 cents 🙂 it’s the little things that get me excited like this!!

thanks, as always, for ALL you do Collin! we LOVE YOU!!<3

  2. Stephanie

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for posting how to make a photo album. I noticed that a few days ago & was thinking, now I need to find out how to do that so it don’t take me all week!!!

    • ScrapGal

Do make a photo book they are great. We made some last year with pictures from our trip. It was a great way to show the highlights of our trip when we saw friend and relatives. No more people thumbing through a stack of photo prints and messing up your order or getting them all full of finger prints before you could get them in an album!

  3. Tara

There photobooks are really good quality…last year when they had them i really liked them! it would be the best day ever if the limit was “up-ed” again to 6!!!

    • Samantha

Last year when they had the high limit for the photo books, I made 1 for each of the grandparents and great-grandparents for my daughter’s 1st birthday. This year I have DVDs for them ( from April, I think). My husband and I just got back from our 1st “alone” vacation since our daughter was born and I think I will do a book with some of our pics!

  4. Brittany

Does anyone know if you stack a cvs coup and a manu coup? TIA!

    • Anna @ Frugal For You

Yes! You can even stack a x off xx CVS Q. Plus throw in you ECBs too. That’s why I love CVS. Its so easy to come out of there paying only tax.

    • karmen

Yes you for sure can stack a cvs coupon with a manf coupon. I do it all the time.

    • Cindy Starcher

Yes you can stack coupons! 🙂

      • april crosier

yes, you can stack a CVS and a mfg Q and ALSO use the ECB on top of it all 🙂

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone know if the Arm and Hammer deteregent deal is for powdered as well as liquid? The $3/2 coupon specifies powdered (although I prefer liquid).

    • Emily

I’m wondering this, too. Does anyone know?

  6. Julie

FYI – this is a GREAT price on Filippo Berio olive oil. (especially with the coupon) I stocked up on them last time they had them on sale!

    • Maria

It is a fantastic price on this brand of olive oil! It’s one of only a couple of brands that my Italian family uses! Thanks Collin!

  7. kelly

thanks for shortening up these lists and so we can just click on full list as needed!

    • bali

Yes, I love it! No more scrolling forever thru the main page! 🙂

    • Mary

I didn’t realize she did that, and was disapointed by such a short list, I clicked on comments and then the entire list was there, I was pleasantly surprised.

  8. jenny

last week at the cvs coupon machine i had a coupon print for $4.50 off any box pampers diapers. so today i used that plus $2 manu. coupon for pampers, and then $7 in ecb i already had to make my total 10.47 with tax and got back $10 ecb… so $0.47 for box diapers. YEA!

    • Megan R

I have that same $4.50 coupon…it expires today but the ecb deal doesn’t start til tomorrow, right? How did you get it today?

      • jenny

my cvs store allows us to start the next week sale early, so i can do this weeks sales today and the sale that starts in am today to!!

        • Megan R

thanks…Yeah, I went to the store this evening and the system was already updated to next week’s deals…so I was able to use my cvs pampers coupon $4.50 + 3/1 manu + a $5/$25!

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, it seems that some stores update sometime after 3pm on Saturdays and some don’t. My local store does not. But when I visit my son, the store in his area updates sometime after 3pm. Guess I need to visit more often!

  9. Mitch

And I can use my $5 off of $25 towards the Systane deal, I am sure I can find $10 more dollars to spend!
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

  10. Nicole

last week at the magic machine I got a $3 off $10 diaper purchase or more, so that will be great with the pampers deal!!

  11. Bekah

I have a question.. do most of you split up your orders with CVS to use your ECB right then, or do you keep them for your next trip? How long do the ECB last before they expire? I’m still new to this! Thanks! 🙂

    • Melinda P

Depends on what I’m getting. If I’m getting alot of stuff that won’t generate ECB’s, then I might split it up into two transactions. But most of the time, I just do 1 transaction, use the ECB’s from my last visit, and save the ECB’s for the next visit. 🙂

While the CVS CRT coupons are often good for only 1-2 weeks, the ECB’s usually are good for 30 days – how awesome is that? 🙂 Wish Wag’s RR’s lasted that long, LOL!

  12. Joanne

FYI, next time you are @ your CVS you should ask. Many accept expired CVS coupons from the “coupon machine”.

  13. amanda

For the Pamper’s deal – for those who got the sample pack from Vocalpoint…don’t forget there was a $3/1 coupon on the packaging of those. Will pair nicely with this deal.

  14. Brea

Check with your store mgmt, but most of all the CVS’s in my area take all CVS coupons that are expired! I just print and use when I want. SOOOOO nice to not worry about expirations dates.

  15. Dorraine

A CVS employee told me that CVS will take their own coupons for up to a year from the expiration date. We love CVS here! Our employees are the best.

  16. Sharon

CVS begins next weeks sales at 6:00pm Saturday evening. I did this last week and it worked. I’ve heard this at 3 CVS stores in my area.

  17. Shelly T.

What zip code is everyone using for the Arm and Hammer deteregent? I can not find it. Thanks!

  18. meganph

can anyone tell me how many diapers would come in that pampers box if i get a size 4? i am trying to calculate up cost per diaper and can’t figure out how many would be in that box. thanks.

    • rachel

      64

    • Marie P.

My son uses Pampers Baby Dry in size 4 and the box I bought there is 82ct.

    • Megan R

64 diapers in the size 4 box

    • Mindy

It’s 64 in the cruisers and 82 in the baby dry….both are on sale 🙂

  19. dani

on your list “Buy 2 Kung Zhu Hamsters 2/$9.98 and Get a Free Kung Zhu Armor ($9.99 value)Final Cost $9.98 for all 3!”

I received the cvs flyer (chicago) and it’s buy any 2 at 9.88 each, get a free kung khu armor – 9.99 value. Final cost about $20 for all 3. So, maybe this is a regional thing.

  20. Mia

Has anyone checked to see if the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 55 (1 oz.) priced at ONLY $1.99 is generating the $10 Extra Care Bucks like last time per Colin’s notes????
    Thanks

    • Elizabeth

Well, I just got back and it definitely was not priced at $1.99 at my CVS. They were $13.99 for the Ultra Sheer 55 spf. However, it WAS 1.4 oz., not 1 oz. Also, I checked the trial size area–nothing. There cheapest was a Neutrogena stick that was $7.99, but that’s still not really a bargain to me.

  21. rachel

Just got back from cvs & noticed on the bottom of my receipt it’s showing I can get the deal 1 more time for pampers & the huggies little swimmers! I hope this is right!

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My receipt also did not indicate that the Offer Limit had been Reached on the Pampers so I am hoping that this is actually a limit of 2. Would love to hear if anyone has success purchasing more than one and having the extrabucks still print

    • Julie S.

Collin showed that it has a limit of 2 on another post.

  23. meganph

so if you can do the deal twice does that mean you could get them both in the same transaction and get two $10 EBCs?

    • Mel

This would be great to know becaus I got a $5 off 40 and thought I have no idea if I can make that work!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes! If the limit really is 2 then if you bought 2 you would receive a $20 ecb!

    • Samantha

You will get the $20 EB if you get 2 in one transaction — just remember that you will have to spend that $20 all at once later on!

  24. April

I did the pampers deal today and the limit is not 1… my receipt shows that I used one and need 1 more to earn reward!

    • Nicole C.

Anyone try doing this deal twice yet??

  25. Lara

I haven’t done the deal twice because I didn’t notice it on my receipt until I got home! But I will be going back first thing in the morning to try!

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just a heads up..might be worth a look at your local CVS: My CVS had Pampers MEGA packs clearanced out to $4.50. These were not marked, but I was suspicious because the remaining inventory was laying on the floor on the diaper isle. Sure enough, when I scanned them they were 75% off!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

they were on clearance in fort wayne indiana too last week. I checked other stores (i drive a long way to work) and they were only half off rather than 75% like fort wayne.

  28. Gillian

Has anyone found the Tena Pads at their local CVS? I haven’t been able to find them at either of my CVSs or Walgreens!

    • Katy

They’re in the incontinence aisle. I was planning to get some and donate them to a women’s shelter but the packs priced at $6.99 are NOT on sale for BOGO, at least in my area.

      • Gillian

Oh duh – I didn’t even think to check there! I saw “pads” and just assumed feminine hygiene. Fortunately I am not in need of this product (yet) and I too was going to donate them and submit for the rebate. I still might check and see if it is a moneymaker. Thanks for your help!

  29. Amy J

    Thanks

Great deal at CVS! I went in this morning and found the Pilot FriXtion Pens (2 pack) included in the B1G1 sale for $4.69. I used the two $1.00 coupons and got both packs for $2.69. Added bonus – on the back of the packages is a refund by mail offer. For both packs of pens, I’ll get a $2.75 refund so 4 free pens!

a quick question: when we get the $X off of $XX coupons from CVS in our email, can these be printed more than once and used more than once? or are they one time use only?

    • Tara

usually they are coded for one time use hth

For the Arm and Hammer deal…I used a $1/2 any Arm & Hammer Laundry Products from the 7/18 SS. Just another option for the coupon.
Also, there are peelies on the products for about $4 off of Arm & Hammer household cleaners.
    If you got the .75/1 Dove chocolate bar, they’re on sale for 2/$1! .50 – .75 = .25 MM!

    • Shelly T.

      Thanks for the tips!

    • Emily

I thought those were just for use on the large size bars?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Mine says for the dove LARGE bars only! And those are like $2.75ea.

        • Lmorocco

I got that coupon last week, and it worked on the small size, even the cashier had said that she was waiting to find out if they worked on the small size and they do. no beeping!

          • Priyanka

Just got back from CVS again today!
The magic coupon machine printed out ANOTHER .75 cents off a large Dove candy bar. Again, I used it on the .50 cent bar and no beeps and worked like a charm! I love that I’m getting paid to eat chocolate :]

Has anyone done the Photo Books yet? Just wondering if there is a higher limit than the one per household that CVS advertised.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just did one and it said “limit reached”

    • Samantha

Thanks a lot, Lauren. I know I would find out myself, but I had a 2 year old that ALWAYS shops with me and would have prepared more CDs if the limit was higher. Now I know!! =D

I was just at CVS and in Texas I guess the limit is 1 on the Pampers deal, but I did score an awesome clearance. All CVS brand Wipes that have a red label that says Scented With Aloe are on clearance. The 160 count was .59 cents and the 216 coout was $1.74. I used my 4.99 ECB bucks to score 4 packs of the 216 for 2.13…YAHOO!

Hi! Does anyone know if CVS takes expired ECB’s? I saw on here that they take expired coupons which I didn’t know ??? Thanks

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      yes they should. mine does.

    • Melissa R.

Very much YMMV (your miles may vary) Not all stores take them, so best to ask your store manager. I used to be able to use expireds within a week or so, but my store has a new manager and also a new DM, who run a very tight ship. They won’t even write RCs on Sunday or Monday, saying to check back later in the week after the truck comes!! I had to put my foot down and tell them they better write my RC b/c I’m not coming in every day to check for an item. Nor do I plan on running around to the other 5 CVS stores (which are out of my way) wasting time and gas when this store is 2 mins from my house.

      • Samantha

Mine won’t take the expired EBs, but will sometimes take CRTs a day or 2 past the date. That’s rotten on the rainchecks– I would put my foot down, too! =D

    • Ann

I just dug $6 worth out of the trash and will report back if they take them or not.

i cannot find the $1/1 body wash coupon for the softsoap/irish spring deal. was this only in bigger city papers?

    • Melissa R.

Coupons are regional…not everyone gets the same thing and even the values can be different. Our area did not get the $1/1, but .75/1.

  38. Sadie

If you have won coupons from the Schick Quattro Visual Q’s game, you can use two and make two of the disposable Quattro razors .49.

All Schick Disposable Razors Buy 1 Get 1 Free
Deal Scenario (based on on-line price):
Buy 2 Quattro Disposable Razors 4 ct. $8.49 each
Use 2 $4/1 coupons from the visual q’s game
    Final Cost $0.49 for both!

Does anyone know if the neutrogena lip sunscreen for 2.99 will work for the 10 ecb deal?

  40. southernsweetie08

Great CVS trip today here’s what I got(I did 2 separate transactions):
    Trans. 1
    1 Dove 2pk soap 3.00
    1 Kotex U Tampons 4.99
    3 Candy Bars(needed for Filler) 1.50
    Used:
    6 ECB
    1.50 Kotex U CVS Q
    1.00 Kotex Manf. Q
    1.00 ANY dove
Total: 0.74!!! (the my 6 ECB was a 4.00 and 2.00 the cashier put the 2.00 in as 1.99 I don’t know why!)
    ECB earned 5.99

    Trans. 2
1 E.P.T 2 count (Didn’t need this for this month but we are “trying” so I wanted to have them on hand)
    Used:
    6.99 ECB
    5.00 of any E.P.T
    Total: 2.76!!!
PLUS I get to do the mail-in-offer for the E.P.T (free keepsake gift when you purchase the product)

So I spent 3.50 total that’s amazing to me!!! I’m a little sad that I have NO ECB left for next week but hopefully they’ll have some good deals and I can make up for it! I wanted to do the Neutrogena deal today but couldn’t find the lip care that was cheap so I skipped it…

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The CVS Magic Coupon Machine spit out a coupon for .50/2 Dove candy bars (reg size). They are on sale 2/$1 so .25 each! My DD loves these!
