Woo Hoo! Staples just released some new coupons which should make your back to school purchases even sweeter! The new coupons available are as follows and are valid from 7/28-7/31…
* Save 20% off one item excluding computers; the instructions on this coupon to the cashier state “Scan any other coupons being applied to this purchase and then Scan this 20% off coupon.” So this means you should be able to apply another coupon to your transaction in addition to the 20% off coupon. Also keep in mind that the 20% discount applies to the highest priced item in the transaction!
* Save an extra $75 on any laptop, excluding netbooks and desktop computers
* 15% off your in-store purchase excluding netbooks and desktop computers, cell phones and cell phone services, BOSE or Apple products, gift cards, postage stamps or phone cards

Heads up for people who didn’t think the backpack deal was for them – LAPTOP backpacks are also included! I snagged a $99.99 free laptop backpack for DH yesterday, and he was thrilled. (Free after gift card!) Also note that my store had LOTS more styles/colors/models of backpacks than shown on staples.com. HTH someone!
When doing the backpack deal do they give you your giftcard right then and there after you pay for the backpack or is it an online thing where you have to wait to get it back?? TIA!
It’s a rebate so you do have to wait. But it does not take as long as a rewards check!
hmmmm we wanted to use the GC to pay for the Brother laser printer that is on sale this week.. does Staples do rain checks if they don’t have any in so that we can get it at that price but use the GC to pay for it? wishing it was right then and there that you get it.. darn it. oh well…anyone know how often laser printers go on sale at staples? not sure what to do…and have never shopped there before!

on the rebate for the backpack, you have to submit it and wait for the rebate. I did it last year – didn’t mind waiting since we spend a ton at Staples anyway.
Does anyone know of a % Off code or coupon for Staples that would work for computers?
I bought one laptop yesterday (will return the box and rebuy with Q 🙂 ), but need to buy 4 more. Since we RV full-time and homeschool, we are changing the kids’ school to computers – too hard to lug all those books. I would LOVE to find a % off to go with the $75 off Q!

It is for the full purchase price still, at least that is what my rebate receipt indicated today.

Thank you for this coupon! I have to share my deal. Staples.com has an Olympus DSLR camera listed for $399.99, marked down from $699.99. But, the 20% coupon was not good for online purchases. So… I went to the store, asked them to order it for me. Then, they took the 20% off. I also had a $25 off a $75+ purchase coupon. So, they took that off too. I got free shipping because it is over $50…….. So, I got a $700 DSLR camera for $321!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, if you have an item that you want online, take the coupon to the store and ask them to order it for you. Then you can use the coupon! I had no idea you could do that.
