Wow, they sure do ask you a lot of questions for a sample. Luckily they weren’t required.
I just used this last night. Love it. My husband likes it just the way the directions state; nothing added, nothing deleted. Thanks for the free package, although I may not be able to use it in 6 – 8 weeks. It’s so hot here the tomatoes will probably be dried up.
You can freeze tomatoes until you’re ready to use them, then the skin just comes right off when you let them come back to room temperature.
Mrs. Wages also has a really tasty dill pickle mix. My sister-in-law tried it and the pickles were really tasty, but not super crisp. I plan to try another batch and either add a bit of alum to the ice water bath that you soak the cucumbers in or adding a bit of pickle crisp to the jars to see if that helps. Even if that doesn’t help the flavor on the pickles was really good, so I’d still use it anyway. Their pickling lime is also really good for the lime pickle recipe they have on the back of the package. I’ve been very happy with their products so far and hope the salsa mix is just as good!
I love all of their products. In fact, I just took a break from canning spaghetti sauce w/ their packet of seasonings. They are all wondeful. Who doesn’t love a free packet to make salsa!
I’ve been making freezer jam so I’ll have to go look for their products.
They also have a feature to make your own label. Now if only those tomatoes would start ripening … LOL.
