Has someone tried this yet? I’m worried that the vitamins RR won’t print — you don’t spend $10 since you’re using the 15% off coupon. (An employee pointed this out to me when our Walgreens started giving military customers 15% off every Wednesday.)

Can you use RR on a product and still get RR for the next product? I was told no Sunday from an Employee…she said my new RR don’t print then.
I just got back from Walgreens with 2 great deals. 1st deal I bought this:
Penway pencils(filler) .08 (with 15 % Q)
Complete contact 6.79(with 15 % Q)
– $2.00 complete coupon
– $3.00 Register Reward
Total 2.02 and got $8 in register rewards back
2nd deal:
2- Papermate highlighters .16 each (with 15 % off)
1-Penway pencils .08 (with 15 % off)
1-Complete contact 6.79 (with 15 % off)
2-Benadryl allergy 48’s 8.07 each (with 15 % off)
1-expo marker 8 pk 3.39 (with 15 % off)
-2.00 for complete contact manufacturer coupon
-6.00 for benadryl IVC coupon
-5.10 for benadryl Walgreens coupon(I think this is not $6 because of the 15%)
-4.00/2 Benadryl manufacturer coupon

I thought the $2 Complete coupon was a coupon in Canada and not the US??

Transaction #1 works…but you have to buy a filler item to use both coupons. The register wouldn’t take both on 1 item. But got the vitamins and a $.39 caramel for $5.89 (I had a $2 register reward from last week)
I think it’s just so funny…What goes better with healthy vitamins than…chocolate!! . ROFL 🙂
Is anyone else having problems printing the Alive vitamin coupon? I use google chrome, and I get page not found. I switched to IE and it says ‘oops, link is broken’
I printed one Alive coupon a couple of hours ago but the link does not seem to be working now.
I did this deal twice with RR I already had. OOP about $8–got 2 big bags of Mars candy bars, 16 8 pack Mars bars, 2 Vitamin packs (which I really like since I take vitamins every day vs. a product I can’t use) and the Crayola Markers that are free with rebate sent in. I have 2 $5 RR and plan on doing the Neutrogena deal tomorrow. Candy for Halloween (goes in freezer, hidden) and markers for back to school for kids, 4 month supply of vitamins for me :0 :0 :0. This was a fun and practical deal.

I ws just at Walgreens and Got the 6 pack of large hershey bars on clearance for $1.09 (after the coupon they were like .90 cents)I also got some cute jar candles on clearance for 24 cents (after coupon 19 cents!!!)
I haven’t been using coupons for very long, while I was in line to check out, a customer was giving the cashier a really hard time. And in my opinion was taking her frustrations out on the cashier who coupons herself and is always helpful and kind. For those of you who don’t like Walgreens, please find another store that meets your needs. Remember the cashiers are people too. Sometimes they are just doing what they are told. Demanding to speak to the manager, yelling at the cashier, and causing a scene. Maybe we should all take a step back and treat others the way we want to be treated. Maybe Collin should post some coupon using courtesy tips.

On the one had some people over react to coupon scrutiny and some people just say “take it out of my bag.” Most people are nice about getting their bargains but I have seen more aggressive shoppers recently than I have in awhile. I try to keep my shopping upbeat otherwise it gets stressful. You can’t change people and people know how to behave some just chose not to behave nicely because they want the deal. Be an example but don’t worry too much about others behavior. HTS is aware and always encourages people to be “nice” but on the flip side sometimes cashiers can be very frustrating to deal with. New deals come along all the time!
depending on the issue i will either talk 2 a manger or let them take the product back then they have to take the trouble of taking it off and paying some1 2 put it back sometimes u hafta b rude bc they are rude i had 1 argue with me the other day sayin it took my q off and it didnt and i was right if i hadnt said anything she wouldve screwed my outta 3.50
The alive vitamin coupon didn’t work for me a few hrs ago but now it does (after purchasing two boxes…guess I’ll get more now!)
My wags has the big pouch bags of Hersheys dark mnm things or reeses pieces or th minty ones (forgot the names) that are normally $4 something, on sale $2/5, and a $5 RR..I’ll use my RR’s from the vitamins and contact solution and crayons to go buy more! AND got the backpack deal w/the RR’s and the 15% off…THANKS COLLIN!!!
I didn’t. The F & F is just a WAGS employee discount code. I used the F & F q first then the $1 MFQ. Worked perfectly!
The comment about using the Friends and Family q as well as the $1 MFQ for the Alive was meant to respond to comment #5 from Laurie. I was able to use both q’s on one box of vitamins without a filler.
Just bought 4 kit kats- 4 hersheys- & 4 reeses – this deal worked perfect— now I am wondering if it was a good idea- i think ill hide them from my hubby
Theresa, considering I bought a 8 pack not too long ago at Kroger for their 88¢ special I think that after the $1.80 15% discount, and the $5.00 RR I think $5.20 for 96 candy bars (12 8 packs) is an excellent deal. Buy the kind you don’t like and hold them for Halloween:-)
