It says I’ve already printed the # of prints allowed for the TP and the sugar yet I didn’t print anything. Coupons for these items are few and far between so does anybody know where I can get them?

  2. Melissa R.

It could be that the campaign is over and no more prints left.

  3. mb

fyi kellogs is doin a 10 rebate forms r in store on a bus i believe so eyes peeled happy saving all

  4. jennifer

The first Bausch & Laumbe coupon is for a 10oz bottle 🙁

  5. Gillian

The first link for Biotrue multi-purpose solution is only valid on products 10 oz. or larger and will not work for the sale item, which is only 4 oz. The second link is a coupon for $1.00 of 2 oz. or larger which would at least make the product free. Darn! No moneymaker that I can see – plenty of other deals though!

    • ali

Collin was right–it used to be a $2 coupon. I printed it a couple weeks ago. They must have changed it. Oh well..it let me print out the $1 ones now too, though, so yay!

  6. Coupon NInja

OK I’m new to Walgreens deals because they just started opening in my area. Anyway, I did the Pampers deal on Tuesday along with the free vitamins/contact solution etc. So I went back last night for another round of Easyups and didn’t get the $5RR. My transaction was as follows:
    3 Easyups – $26.97
    1 wipes – $3.49
    4 Chapsticks – $4.00
    1 $1.50/pampers x3
    1 free wipes
    then to pay I used

    1 $10RR (from vitamins)
1 $8 RR (from contact solution)
1 $5 RR (p&g, im assuming from the proglide razor, if the pampers RR is not supposed to roll)

So of course I don’t realize this til I’m 30 min away at home at 2330, and I call and the mgr says to bring in the receipt, etc. So I plan another trip (Trader Joe’s is nearby, yay) and talk to the mgr. She was nice but was giving me this doody about “Well, I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the coupons that were used.” Of course, my argument is, “Well, if I’m not able to to use the previous $5RR from the Pampers deal, how does this affect this transaction? These RR are from unrelated products?” I continued to get the whole “we don’t program the system with the rules” and “the manufacturer is responsible for granting the RR” and suggests I call corporate.

Before I waste my time on the phone, I’m wondering if/what I did wrong here. My only question is: the pampers deal and the Gilette Fusion Proglide both printed out $5RR “Thanks from Proctor and Gamble”. I didn’t compare the barcodes but otherwise they looked the same. Since the register accepted my $5RR, I assumed it was the one from the razor. But could it have slipped through and then the system was like, this $5 RR was redeemed so a new one won’t print? Or it *WILL* accept the RR from your previous purchase, it just won’t issue you a second RR. Oh yeah and I’m also noticing he forget my third $1.50 PG. $#%@#$^% I was so distracted, it was late, there was a line forming, the cashier was in training…all red flags I guess.
    Ninja FAIL

    • Jessica

You can’t use ANY P&G RR on any other P&G items.. so if you used your razor ones then it wouldn’t have printed the easy ups one… It gets REALLY confusing trying to keep them all straight in my opinion, i’ve done this many times and always have to look at labels and see what is P&G and what is other manufacturers. It is dumb. I would take them back in and return and rebuy them. I’ve had to do that before. Good luck!

      • robyn

yep, jessica is right. because it was a P&G RR, it won’t print. and exactly. you can use and it will accept a RR from a previous transaction it just wont print you a new one. the manufacturers that issue the RR’s dont want you using them on their stuff to get more stuff for free.

        • Coupon Ninja

Ahh craptastic. Well I guess I’ll just count my losses and soothe myself with two boxes of thermacare and a cart full of sobes at CVS 😀 Thanks for your help!!

          • ali

Ok, first off, your NINJA FAIL thing totally made me laugh. You sound like the kind of person that would be fun to go couponing with. 🙂 Secondly, I’m not in agreement with the other two completely, because you can use another P&G RR on a P&G RR promotion as long as they are for different dollar amounts. i.e. If you got a $2 RR for Tide or something you could use it to pay for your Proglide razor and still receive a $5 RR back. I have done this many times. The problem in this case was that they were for the same amount–each $5, so if you were like me this past week, I got a few razor ones and a few diaper ones and they got mixed together. I think you should return it though, like they said, and tell them the RR didn’t print, and if they won’t help you, call the catalina company. Don’t get discouraged…I know this whole couponing thing can be frustrating, especially at the beginning, but it totally pays off in the end. 🙂 🙂

          • Joyce

I have done the same thing before. What I found works for me is to lable the RR’s as soon as they print. The girls at my Walgreen’s work with me on this and they even help me when the RR’s print. They have even gone as far as trying the RR to see if it will take it and then cancelling the transaction if it doesn’t.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Ali – Read the P&G catalina. They specifically say they are not to be used on other P&G items. I know sometimes it works where the P&G RRs roll with other P&G deals (or even the same product), but for the most part, the RR won’t print if you use a P&G RR from a previous deal with a new RR deal. Thats one of the things I dislike about RRs, always having to check the brand name of the item against the RR to make sure its OK to use.

  7. Moranda

My kotex Q from last weeks insert says $1.00 off any kotex AND U by kotex product. Do I have to buy 1 product from each line to get $1.00 off? Or can I use the Q on just 1 product? The AND is throwing me off!

    • Lauren

I would say just one product. I think if it meant for you to buy 2 products the coupon would have been for more than $1.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Kotex usually has $1.00 coupons so I agree with Lauren.
You can usually find a $1.00 off Kotex or U by Kotex coupon in their samples, if you have any of those.

  8. Dawn

thank you for adding the “click the comments for more deals.” I’m a big fan! It’s easier than having to keep scrolling past the amazing deal at stores that I don’t frequent.

  9. momwhocares

All of my Walgreens in my area, except one, now only allow each customer to buy one RR deal per offer per day. So, I would not be allowed to buy more than one (example) Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor System in more than one transaction in one day. I would have to come back the next day, so stocking up on these things is out of the question. I think a limit of one RR deal per offer is stupid, maybe limiting it to 3 or something.

I am always nice to the cashiers and managers so they nicely explained to me the reason was to many people would come in and take everything they had on their shelf and do like 30 transactions – leaving nothing for anyone else. And, when they were asked to put some of them back for others the customer would get angry and yell and they have even had instances where the customer would wait outside for the cashiers break to get into an argument with her. So, now limits are going on, one store at a time, to now there is only one store without limits. I am sure that won’t last long as those crazy customers will all go to that store and force them to have to put a limit too.

I was wondering if any of you are experiencing this at your stores lately? I am so upset that I cannot go in to one store and get 3-4 of one type of RR deal now. It is unfair I am getting limited because of those inconsiderate people. I get they want to stock up, I do not get the fact they choose to scream and yell and start issues over it. Now, there are limits everywhere to save the stores from the harrasement.

    • Laura A.

I kind of agree with this, sorry. I can’t tell you how many times I went in to get 1 or 2 of a deal and find out that 1 lady came in and cleaned out the store. It’s very rude (in my opinion) to take everything and not leave any for others, no one needs 30 razors. Again, just my thoughts.

      • momwhocares

Yeah, I agree with you kinda – some people who have a large family with teen boys may need a lot of razors. But, I agree with you on the wipeing out the store is rude.

My point is you say there are times you want to get 1 or 2 of a rr deal. Well, you will only be able to get 1 – and that is my point. Can’t the limit be 2 or maybe 3 a day. That would be easier and would still stop from wiping out the shelves. Think of the family’s with 3 teenage sons and a husband. One razor would not work; 2 or three would be nicer.

        • Michelle

I’m from south of Chicago. …and the big thing here is to wipe out the store to make money. I know of people who brag about their basement store that the neighbors come shop at and say they make $300+ per day! Another big thing is the people who own Convenience stores. Why should they purchase the toothpaste by the case when they can make money with the coupons and then resell it too! My favorite is flea marketers. I went to a flea market and the people were selling last months RR items. So, I don’t think it’s any of us purchase 1 or 3 razors for our own homes that’s the problem!

          • Joyce

People like that ruin it for others who are just trying to save any where they can to make ends meet these days.

    • Sara

Sheesh…… At one nearby Wags they only allow one RR deal per day. Period. They don’t even limit it to one per offer per day…it’s just flat out ONE. They have signs on all of their RR products that state their policy: ONE RR per day per family. I can understand the need to have some limits on these deals (i.e. CVS), but come on!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Explain to your store manager that if they stock more, then they sell more (which is of course good for their store) and they get fully paid for the item PLUS $.08 so it is a win for them. By limiting it they are then limiting their own sales. I just had a looong conversation about this with one manager and she could not understand why a manager would want to limit the sales (cause I too have 1 store like that which I just avoid like the plague unless all other stores are out!) She even told me to let her know which sales I would be intersted in ahead of time and she would get me lots of the product. 🙂 yeah now I do not have to go to a million stores. 🙂 She is new to the couponing herself so she is very excited about having me do multiple purchases so she too can learn. 😉 If they have any questions tell them to call Jessica the store manager at the Cannon store in Oceanside CA and she will explain it to them. 🙂

    • Angie

My Walgreens says one RR of each item per day. Like if there’s a rr on a razor you can get one, if there’s a rr on pampers you can get enough to get one rr. That seems fair to me.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I ran into this same problem today at a new Walgreens store I had never shopped at before. They said that I could not purchase the same RR items in back to back transactions. I can safely say that I LOVE my store in Moscow, ID!! The workers and managers ROCK!! Woop!

    • mongamom

totally agree with all of you. We have several customers in our area that hit the Walgreens store on Sunday and wipe it out. If I go in after 1 or 2:00 on Sunday, my chances are slim to get any of the money maker deals or even freebies…gets so frustrating at times to see others with their 5 different transactions, leaving little on the shelves for the rest of us. I do have luck if I go back in on Thursdays early when they typically re-stock, but sometimes that is just not convenient at all. Walgreens is going to end up like CVS with cards that keep track of what you buy and limit it that way….too bad a few can make it so difficult!

    • Coupon Ninja

OK. Well as far as labeling them, I guess you would have to split transactions cuz they just spit out so you wouldn’t know which RR was for which P&G product. The denomination thing makes sense though. I would assume they would come out in the order of your receipt, but…whatever. I’ll probably do the return thing if it happens again…aaand keep going to the new one down the road cuz I now have *2* cashier buddies. The last one was telling about all the deals she does herself and how she keeps diaper coupons on hand for people who come through the line.

It’s pretty sad when a manager can’t look at the receipt and figure out what the problem is.

      Thanks guys!

      • Coupon Ninja

OK sorry, that was supposed to go on my own topic. But anyway, I can agree with managers limiting RR offers to a certain extent, because if a particular store is routinely out of the free items that are supposed to be drawing a wider crowd into the store, and then that deal is wiped out by a few gluttons, you are going to be turning away customers who know that “that location never has any of the sale items so I’m going to go to _____ instead”. But limiting it to one deal per day seems a little too restrictive. What I’m annoyed about this week is the .19 glue sticks. My son’s class wants *12* of them, so I go Tuesday morning and of course they are gone. I know it’s a ridiculous deal, hopefully they will restock this week. I can’t see them getting any cheaper before school starts.

Same thing in Sandy Springs Ga my walgreens only allow 2 per customer, because another couponer cme in and cleared the shelf,I mean clear the shelfs two buggies full and all she used was coupon and rr the manager tried to get her to put someback but she refuse..The manager also stated that they would come in that store made a purchase and later go to another store up the road and return evertyhing..So because of this trend they have changed the rr limit to two per customer.Another thing the walgreens in my area all failed there store audits bad because of this…

    • Stacie

My Walgreens did this to me yesterday. I purchased the Dial Nutri Body Wash and the Bio True contact solution as part of the RR deals as well as some other items listed above that didn’t have RR as part of the deal. The system only printed the RR for the Dial and not the Bio True because that Walgreen’s limits it to one RR deal per person per day! I told them that’s fine, I’ll return the Bio True; they would only give me the refund for the amount of the product I paid (I used $1 coupon and they wouldn’t refund that porition or return my coupon to me). I’ll be going to CVS until they decide they’ll start limiting the ECB to one per person per day too.

I got in on the Nivea BW deal on Tuesday at one of my local Wags… I was so excited to spot the tag on the shelf as I knew I had several coupons. I bought 8 Women’s BW & 1 men’s BW, used 4 Buy 2 get $4 off q’s, used one buy two women’s get 1 mens free, and used $1 off one men’s q. OOP? $5.45! I was pumped! Even the clerk was impressed. Not sure why it was active at that store so early; I checked other stores & it wasn’t active at any others. So ladies, dig up your coupons and RUN, don’t walk and scoop up that deal. That is VERY good BW!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Where did you get the $4/2 q?

      • Shelly

I would like to know that too. I have looked high and low and there is no mention of it anywhere else.

        • Erin

someone posted it in the comments of the riteaid deals 2 weeks ago (1st comment)

          • ali

Thank you so much–that was a huge help!

  11. Rebekah

So the Biotrue Q on Coupons.com is for 10+ oz, and the Q for the biotrue website is only for $1.00, am I missing something?

  12. Shelly

Since Nivea Body Wash is BOGO can we use the buy 2 womens /get one men’s free coupon (so pay for one womens and get a womens and a mens free)?? Sorry for the dumb question, but I am new to this so still trying to figure this all out.

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

just bc the shelves are empty doesnt mean that some1 cleaned them out i have been told several xs esp at wlagrens that they never got the product on the truck well thats what i have a prob with its in your ad then u have 5 wth happy saving all

    • mkw

Oh, my. . . in my area, our one and only Walgreens gets cleaned out by a particular lady. In fact, today I just happened upon her selling from a garage. There must have been a hundred shavers, tons of Dove soap, many, many boxes full of Reach toothbrushes. . . UGGGHHHH. The entire garage sale was packed with items that were once good deals at Target and Walgreens.

      • holi

That is sick for the rest of the town who can’t get anything, but she is selling it all in a garage sale? Weird world.

      • ali

I am with you—I don’t like shelf clearers either, but make sure you know that people have different reasons for selling things. My husbands Dad recently had a heart attack and he had to pay $600 for a last minute flight to be there with him, which really hurt us financially. I had a garage sale already planned for the following weekend, so when the time came, I added tons of things that I had in our family’s stockpile, like toothpaste and razors, and made an extra $250 on it that we desperately needed. Just wanted to share my story because not everyone is just greedy and looking for an extra buck. Thanks for understanding. 🙂

      • FIFSTER

That is so wrong, making money off of free product, she should donate it all instead and take the write off instead.

        • Katie

Ali, that’s great that you were able to sell your stockpile at your garage sale to help you in your time of financial need. Fifster, you make me sad. I hope that you don’t ever find yourself in Ali’s situation, because if you do, you’ll wish you were a little more gracious to her.

I haven’t ever sold my stockpile at a garage sale, but I do have lots of friends who would LOVE to shop a garage sale of toiletries. They are people who just can’t “get” couponing or feel like they don’t have the time or just aren’t interested. In my mind, they are just as deserving of a deal (via garage sale) than anyone else (say, one who coupons).

  14. Erin

i am rather upset with my walgreen’s… the listerine deal didn’t work well for me this week… the first time i tried, they denied using the instant value coupon along with the in-ad coupon… second time i tried, it went through just fine… then, after i discovered it actually WOULD work, i tried a third time, and they denied the coupons… the said the instant value and in-ad coupons were the same… it just really upsets me that even different managers in the same store have different “coupon policies”… i love some of their deals every once in a while, but if i have the choice, i will ALWAYS go to CVS first… they are fantastic.

  15. Shelly

Another question about the Nivea. Say I put 4 women’s body washes in my cart and 2 mens. I use 4 $1/1 coupons and 2 Buy 2/Get 1 mens free coupon. Can I do that? So I would be paying $8 for 6 bottles-plus I would use the $7 RR I have and get them for $1! I’m just not sure I can use the two different coupons together. Could someone please answer? Thank you!

    • Kira G

You can only use 2 of the $1/1 coupons since those are the free items and the other coupon states “BUY 2….”. It would be awesome to be able to use 4 though…;)

      • ali

This deal should work for her at Walgreens, because each of the women’s body washes will ring up 5.99 BGLP, so technically she will have “bought” the 2 that are required to use the B2G1 free, then the free one from the Walgreens sale will show up -5.99 at the end of the transaction. Also, regardless of the other B2G1 free coupon, for just a regular BOGO promo at my Wags, they have no problem letting you use a coupon on the free item, so her transaction example would look like:
        Nivea wms BW 5.99 BGLP
        NIvea wms BW 5.99 BGLP
        Nivea wms BW 5.99 BGLP
        Nivea wms BW 5.99 BGLP
        Nivea mens BW 5.99
        Nivea mens BW 5.99
        filler item .09
        subtotal 36.03
        -1.00
        -1.00
        -1.00
        -1.00
        -5.99 (b2g1 Q)
        -5.99 (b2g1 Q)
        -7.00 RR
        -5.99 BGLP
        -5.99 BGLP
        TOTAL: $1.07 + tax

Hope this helps and your Wags is friendly to couponers! 🙂

    • ali

Yes, you can use the coupons together because the $1/1 coupons are for the womens ones that you are buying in order to get the free mens ones. Just give them the 4 $1/1 Q’s first, then the B2G1 free Q’s because it seems to cause less hassle. The only snag you will run into in your case is that you will need a filler item if you want to use your $7 RR because you already have a manf. Q attached to every item in your order. I would add one of the 9 cent school supplies or check out some of their clearance food deals. Then you will be good to go. 🙂 Good luck!

      • Shelly

They have some .19 cents glue sticks that I planned to pick up also so that will be perfect! Thanks everyone!!

  16. Lori

Ali, there is nothing wrong with that, that was your perogative. I think everyone is talking about the people who clear the shelves every week and sell the stuff at a profit regularly. There is one at my local wags and truthfully my business has diminished there considerably. What is the use to go in there if they never have what I come in for? I spoke with the manager, and he said there was nothing he could do because limiting makes people angry. I agree that a limit of one is a bit counterproductive. Three or four would make much more sense and then everyone would be happy.

  17. Bill

There is another Domino coupon. You have to go to their site and fill out a short survey. Its only for 30 cents off, but its still a pretty good deal.

In regards to Walgreens limiting RR deals, I work at a Wag and my store did that with the razors but that was it. I think they only reason they did it was because it was going to be a RR all month long. I think if you ask nicely at the cosmetics counter for 2 or 3 when they limit you to one they’ll let you. We’re a 24 hour store and we had the evil coupon ladies come in at midnight and wipe us out of everything. The biggest thing that made me mad was these little bottles of mousse were coming up free after an instant coupon in the store by and error in our system. It was corrected and they had the nerve to tell me they had gotten at least 50 bottles at other stores without a problem. You know, sorry, I’m not overriding the system and losing my job so you can have 52 free little bottles of mousse.

  18. Tosha

This is in reference to the buy one get one free Hanes products. Some products might have a save $1 instantly sticker on it. So if you can snag two of them, you can potentially get two packs (of 2) men’s boxer shorts for 5.49!!!!!!!!

  19. Lisa

The Gillette R&R did not print for me today. The manager thought it was b/c I used coupons (when will they learn, lol) so she rerung it by itself, no print. I had grabbed the gift set, so she thought that was the reason. I grabbed the power proglide, it rang at $12.99 and still no RR. I said nevermind… wasn’t worth her trouble or mine. I never have problems at this wags, so it must be something screwy in the system. They still had the promo sign posted ($9.89, get $5 RR) so she knew I was right…

  20. Cindi

BETTER DEAL AT TARGET!! K-Y Lubricant Intrigue 2.75 oz. or Yours+Mine 2 pk. $14.79
Use the $5/1 coupon from the 6/13 RP (Intrigue only) or found here
    Final Cost $9.79!

    .20 BETTER THAN AT WALLGREENS!!

  21. Megan

I suggest doing the U by Kotex deal. I got back a coupon for a FREE box of playtex tampons, no purchase required. I did this again and it worked a second time.

    • Sarah

I got that same catalina today after buying the Kotex U. I bought 2, so I don’t know if you can get the catalina for the free box of Platex after only buying one? I live in Nor. Cal. The playtex in my store were $6 a box, so I am going to wait for a sale, since the Catalina says up to “4.99” value.

      • mrs4dtough

I did the Kotex deal yesterday (in Maine) but was not given the tampax coupon…. great deal for those of you who got it!!

        • marcia

Hey another mainer! where are you? e-mail me at occonorsavings@fairpoint.net would love to meet some other couponers around these parts 🙂 and bummer it didn’t work here, i was hoping there would be somehting like that coming out, oh well..which did you go to?

  22. Melanie

I did the deal for the Nivea body wash listed & actually got 3 bottles for $3! For some reason when I used the Buy 2 Women’s Body Wash Get 1 Men’s Body Wash free, it deducted $7.99 from the cost instead of the $5.49 sticker price. Bonus!!!!

  23. Tiffany

My Walgreen’s had the Pilot Erasable Highlighters for 10 cents for a 3 package. On the packages, there is a rebate. If you buy 3, you get $4.50 back. If you buy one, I think you get $1.25, 2, you get $2 something and 3 you get $4.50. It goes buy how many you buy, not how much you paid. So that is a $4.20 profit off a filler item!

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So I went to Walgreens this morning and tried to use a manufacturers coupon and a coupon out of the Walgreens August booklet that you get in stores and they wouldn’t let me use both of them. The manager said they were both manufacturers coupons, so I ended up putting a ton of stuff back. So some of the deals posted for Walgreens this week might not work for us since you can’t use the two of the coupons together. Just fyi.

  25. Lori

I too had a bad experience yesterday at Wags. I bought 1 Dial BW-had 1 $1 off coupon, 2 ziploc bags-had $1.50/2 and used the store coupon of $1/2, 2 Crystal lite, Pure Fitness powder tubes, 2/$5-had 2 $2 off 1 coupons. I had 5 items, 4 man. coupons, and 1 store coupon. When I checked out, my final total after coupons was 7.19 so I gave them 1 RR that was $4. The register beeped, so the girl called a manager, who could explain the policy to me, who told me I had too many coupons, and I quote her, “If you take off a couple of the other coupons, it would take the RR”! I looked at her and said nicely, that I had 5 items, 5 coupons (since the store coupon doesn’t count against my count). In the end I told them to cancel the order and I walked out of the store without anything. I’ve been doing this for a while and know it was a valid purchase, but decided to give my business to another store.

  26. Lisa

I am also having a hard time with this whole register reward at my local Wags (nj). When you make a purchase and pay with a register reward (any) you will not get a register reward. The mamnger told me that if you pay with a register reward you will not get another. I explained to him that the register reward was from somthing I purchased last week and that i should be able to use it and still recieve the one from this week. He flat out said no, so I asked for a refund and he did not want to give me my coupons back! I told him that if he didn’t give me my coupons back that he was gonna have to give me their cash value because the were gonna get reimbursed. He finally gave them back to me and i looked at him and said I was going to go to CVS where the emplyees know how to accept coupons!

  27. Trishat

Bummed about my WAGS trip today. Right Guard 3D didn’t right up BOGO. Luckily, I priced checked it before buying. Secret didn’t print a RR. It wasn’t marked but I took the chance. Bio True was sold out. I had 5 items and 3 manf. Qs and one store coupon, so I thought I could use two RRs. The second one beeped. Casher said I had too many manf. Qs. Is it because I bought the Planters BOGO? Does the free one not count as an item?

  28. Kyna

I have visited several Wags in Cincinnati, Ohio and was told they will not longer accept internet printable coupons due to fraud problems. The manager told me today that it will soon be a corporate policy. In the past, if the coupon wouldn’t scan, then the cashier generally would not over ride it. This could impact saving and shopping at Wags. Any other locations having similiar problems?

    • Tika

I am also a Cincinnati shopper, what part of town are you in. I used to go to the Wags in Mt. Washington but they no longer accept IP’s so I have not been going. Have you found any that are still taking them?

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just did the U by kotex deal and my walgreens had me ring each box up separately, since the coupon was from the manufacture. Since when have the monthly coupon books carry manufacturing coupons? Anyway, I read it and looks like my cashier was right. Total bummer though since I was not able to use my register rewards! (didn’t meet amount) Oh well. $1.50/box still isn’t a bad deal…
