Did you know that Office Max and Payless ShoeSource have teamed up to offer shoppers added value during the back-to-school season?! For the next few weeks, both Office Max and Payless are offering cross-promotional register receipt coupons that you’ll receive at checkout for additional savings on school supplies and footwear during back-to-school. Make any purchase at Payless stores across the nation and you’ll snag a coupon for $10 off a total purchase of $30 or more at OfficeMax stores nationwide (excluding OfficeMax.com). Make any purchase at OfficeMax stores nationwide and you’ll snag a coupon for $5 off a total purchase of $25 or more at all Payless stores nationwide (excluding those located in ShopKo) and/or Payless.com!

Head over to Office Max this week and purchase a 12 inch Wood Ruler for only 5¢ and snag a $5/$25 Payless coupon at checkout!

Also, be sure to head over to your local Payless store to take advantage of the Buy 1 Get 1 50% off everything sale. Check out the deal that I snagged today at my local Payless (pictured above)…I purchased the Star Wars backpack priced at $3 AND the Airwalk flip-flops on sale for $3 (these rang up at $1.50 due to the B1G1 50% off sale). My total was only $4.85 with tax AND I snagged a $10/$30 OfficeMax purchase coupon that is valid through August 28th! Pretty cool…my 5 year old has a new backpack, I have some new shoes, AND I have a high value OfficeMax coupon to help me save on all those back to school supplies (keep in mind that if your Staples accepts competitor’s coupons then this should help you score some sweet deals at Staples!).

When Office Max had the 2 free backpacks after rebate deal the Payless coupon for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more printed out for me and I actually used it yesterday while I was at the mall with my 3 kids. Since they are having the BOGO sale plus have so many sale items I made out AWESOME! I was able to get 3 really nice wallets, a cute pair of flip flops for me, and 12 pairs of socks (2- 6 pks) for my boys for a grand total of $20.46! (not bad for $62.94 worth of items) And now off course I’m holding on to the Office Max coupon that printed out for $10 off $30 to get some more awesome deals on office//school supplies 😉

    That’s a pretty sweet deal!

Does the coupon have exclusions? I want to buy ink but these coupons normally don’t allow it. Thanks!

    • Danielle

The only exclusion is usually the HP ink. The last coupon I used at Office Depot let me buy the off brand ink for my HP printer. Hope this helps!

Becky: I haven’t seen this coupon, but office max coupons usually can be used on ink ( unlike Office Depot). This week they had a deal that when you buy $60 of name brand ink you got a $15 gift card back. I have used these coupons in the past combined with rewards and rebates. You may find these coupons discarded outside the Payless store.

    • Ana Maria S.

To answer the exclusions question…it does not state anywhere on it that it is not allowed to use for ink so that’s good…and I don’t think these will just be discarded since it’s actually the bottom of your Payless receipt that it’s printed on (not a separate paper coupon like the Payless coupon from Office Max) oh and FYI my coupon is valid 7/25-8/28 in store only and good on regular, promotional and/or clearance priced items. Minimum purchase of $30, before taxes, required. HTH

Or you can pay 6 cents for 6 packages of paper at office max. That is what I did and got the coupon to my surprise.

My payless has been printing out $2 coupons at the end of my reciepts the last two times I have been there— you just have to take a survery- I bought those same shoes and only paid $1.08 with tax and got another $2 coupon to use!

A mailing also arrived in my mailbox today with a sweet coupon…20% at payless on top of the BOGO. It is valid starting today.

    • Priscilla

Was that Star Wars backpack on clearnce? That is a great price. I could use 5 of them for my 5 boys.

Just FYI, if anyone is interested, I bought flip flops of the kids at Michael’s Crafts today for $.60 a pair.

I went to Office Max for the free Jonas Calendar, and on the receipt was a $5 off $25 to Payless!

Did you all know that if you show your AAA card at Payless, they will ALWAYS deduct 10%? It just doesn’t apply during BOGO sales periods. But 10% off their low prices is great!
