the crayola dry erase boards are fabulous hen your preschoolers are learning to write!

I am concerned about the fumes from dry erase markers. Did anyone notice if there’s an odor, or if ventilation is needed, or if everything is ok? Would crayons work on the dry erase surfaces?
      Thanks!

      • Kara

They have these new Crayola Dry Erase crayons that work on the boards. They seem to be grease pencils . Do not use regular crayons though. They do not clean off the boards after awhile.

      • krista

zero fumes. they are harder to get out of clothes than regular crayola markers, though, eso careful.

I am in heart with your blog:) LOVE IT, even my husband finds it funny.

Most of the stores DID NOT get the Surge Delux sets because they were clearanced merchandise according to ALL FIVE of our different stores managers. We wound up buying 4 of the kids paint sets BOGO Free and 2 paint brush sets BOGO Free as well.

Just call ahead to find out if they are actually in stock. I know none of the Boulder/ Denver stores have them.

My store did not have any color surge sets to give out. Looks like they only had TWO to start with. They were hidden away on one small peg…noone even knew what I was talking about when I asked where the free surge set was. We had to search. Also, check your receipts bc my second set did NOT ring up free! So, I am having to go BACK so they can adjust it.

What a GREAT deal…headed there this weekend!! Great presents for Christmas…

I went to Toys R Us the day the sale started and they had NONE of the free sets. It was still a good deal because I was able to get 2 of the store and go Color Wonder sets for a great price – but the whole extra free thing was a joke because no stores seem to have had it.

  7. Cathy

Tried to do the deal online…but it says that the BOGO cannot be combined with other offers…oh well!

Write to Toys R Us! They are one of the worst stores for their own deals and coupons! They don’t except manufacturer “printed” coupons and if it comes down to it, they will tell you that they don’t except coupons at all! I even had customer service tell me to try Babies R Us, with my coupons. It’s worse than Walgreens!

This worked for me…kind of. Our Toys R Us didn’t have the FREE Crayola Color Surge Deluxe Set ($9.99 value) but I found another color surge on clearance and they were able to substitute it for the free one that was out of stock. It was great because you can mix & match Crayola products for the B1G1 free. I was even told that I could take advantage of this deal by combining several lower priced crayola products so that the total would reach 9.99 and then get the FREE Color surge on top of it. Good luck.

Not only did I get the crayola deal
Buy 2 Crayola Dry Erase Decal Sets $9.99 each (on sale BOGO FREE)
Buy 1 Crayola Color Surge Deluxe Set $9.99 (FREE with $9.99 purchase above)
Final cost ONLY $9.99 total (and that’s for almost $30 worth of Crayola products!)
BUT they have 2 for $4 the Snikiddy Mac and Cheese Puffs or Grilled Cheese Puffs.
Toys R Us had a instore I received by email buy 2 get 1 free exp.8/31, stacked with the B1G1 Snikiddy manufacturers coupon made it .67 a bag.

The store I went to in Mesa, AZ near Superstition Springs Mall was out of the freebie. They refused to substitute.

Our store in Indy (east) had a few of the Color Surge sets but they weren’t with the usual display. They were on a display in the middle of (at the end), the aisle. Worked like a charm!

  13. Rachel

I found the Color Wonder Paint and Coloring Pad sets on sale for $9.99 each (marked down from $18). I asked and they were included in the B1G1 sale and got the Color Surge markers and paper for free on top of it all. Paid $10.75 for some great xmas presents!
