Does anyone know if there is a limit on the Sobes? I read on another website limit of 6 and was curious if all the ads say that. Thanks in advance.

    • Rebekah

The limit is usually 6, which means you actually get 12 🙂

      • Laura

        Thanks Rebekah!

        • Jennifer

Be careful, our CVS limits it to only 3, so six total!

      • Mari

At my CVS, the limit of 6 means 6 bottles, not 6 deals. It won’t ring up as Bogo after 6 bottles have gone thru.

        • Jen

RE: the limit on Sobe – a few weeks ago the paper actually said “limit 6”. One store tried to tell me it was 6 total (buy 3 get 3). I called corporate and they confirmed “limit 6” means you can buy 6 and get 6. They said stores should not be making up other rules.

Feel free to call corporate, or at least tell the store you did!

I haven’t seen the ad yet – but I think last week’s didn’t even show a limit, did it?

          • Kim

My store also makes up its own rules and won’t even let you use a B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 sale!!!!

        • beth

I have bought 16 in one transaction and they bogos worked just fine.

          • kelli

a couple of weeks ago, yes, the paper actually said “limit 6”, however, two weeks ago when it was on sale, the paper did not set a limit. I had no problem getting more then 6 in one transaction. IMO, if the paper doesn’t state a limit, then get as many as you want.

          • Amber O.

I’ve gotten 28 Sobe’s total in one transaction and they were fine. My CVS is amazing though and the cashiers are always impressed with my buys. 🙂

    • Jen

My CVS lets you use 5 B1G1 coupons in a transaction. That means 10 Sobe…but you can go through the line more than once or on different days.

    • Alison

I just bought the Sobe tonight at my CVS in Chicago and the store said there was no limit. So I used all my B1G1 coupons and got 22 sobes for free. My sister loves them and she leaves for college next weekend.

    • SUSAN

The ad does not list a limit. The last time this was out the cashier didn’t limit me and I bought 16 for just tax (83 cents). YMMV

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

yes the a says limit 6

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just got 24 sobe free on Sunday 15th at my CVS it TX

    • Regina

Here in Tuscaloosa, AL: I went on my lunch break Monday and bought 12 (BOGO deal…6 was the limit in the ad) I went back after work and did the same deal…..no problem. Each time I used 3 BOGO Q’s and walked out the store with 12 SoBe’s and paid .97 tax. I will do this same deal several more x’s before sale goes off.

  2. Diane L.

The “Soft & Beautiful” coupon that shows up for me expired in July of 2008?!

    • Abby

Yes, it says 2008. It also says valid only at Sally Beauty Supply stores. 🙁

    • Kristen

The Soft & Beautiful Relaxer Kit or Just For Me Softener coupon showed expired 07/31/08 for me as well.

  3. Janessa

I am so excited about the purex complete deal!! I love those things… for those of you who never tried them I recommend it. You don’t have to deal with soap, softner, or dryer sheets it is all in one!

    • Kerri

I had my HE washer repaired recently for a clogged drain. The repair man told me the Purex sheets were a repair mans dream. So if you have HE be careful!

      • cara

I have a HE and I like those sheets but don’t use them all the time. Is it just too much soap for the machine? I’ve even cut them in half length-wise assuming it would be too much soap for a HE machine and having a water softener. Thanks for the tip as I’ll probably save them for only travel now!!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Its not to much soap. Somehow, they get stuck in the drain and can burn your pump up. If you take the front off your machine there is a drain valve that you just unscrew. Careful, lots of water comes out! Then you just clean it out! It save a house call and should be done every now and then anyway.
Thats what I learned from useing the Purex sheets! 🙂

          • beth

i learned that lesson as well! they are quiet convenient to use but a PIA to fish out of the filter.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

can’t you put them in a delicates bag to prevent this.

      • JZ

I have a HE washer and use the Purex sheets with no problems at all. 🙂

      • Renee

Just an FYI – clearing out the drain yourself is really easy. You just take the front off the washer, twist the drain plug and pull it out. (have a cake pan or something there to catch the water) You’ll see hairbands, baby socks, change etc, clear it out and put it back together. Saves tons of $$$ instead of having a repairman come out.

  4. dani

Just curious….what does a bottle of sobe cost? I have a couple $1 off 2 bottles. Wondering if I can use this coupon and get 2 for free.

    • Mari

      At mine, its about 1.79.

      • Sara S.

in Greensboro, NC they are 1.59

        • Carrie C

          hey I’m from GSO too!

          • sabrina

            im originally from burlington! whoo!

          • jessica

and this must be clee who isnt living in gso anymore! haha funny to see you here 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They are a $1 each at Walmart.

  5. Jen

re: Pilot Pens – Q is for “any FriXion Pack” – anyone know what FriXion is? and is it part of the sale?

    • Ling

I got these at Wags last time it was on sale there. FriXion pens are erasable pens which are pretty neat. I don’t know if it’s included on this sale though.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No, the Frixion aren’t part of the CVS sale, just the Easy Touch Pens. But you can get the Frixion free if you have Walgreens. They’ll be on sale $1.99 starting Sunday. Combine the $1 IP (give it first) with the $1 off from the Easysaver booklet.

      • Amber

Be careful with the frixion pens though- The ink dissapears if its too hot! I am a college student and leave my work for other classes in the car when I’m not in that class and in the summer the ink dissapears and you have to put it in the freezer (cold tempurature) to get it to come back. Cute for kids to write seceret messages, but not if your going to be working outside!

  6. Andrea

In my cvs ad, it shows sobe for 77cents each…… doesn’t say anywhere buy 1 get 1 free in this next weeks ad. Am I missing something??

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Looks like they have different ad in different regions. Some got the BOGO while others got .77 each.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They are .77 in AZ. Went there today and they rang up .77 and I felt like a loser because on here and iheartcvs they said BOGO. Looked through the ad they had out (which starts tomorrow) and sure enough they are .77

      Boo!

  7. Mary

I found a $4 peelie on the blink tear drops at my WAGS!

    • Amber

Yes so did mine- but if it was a peelie, you’re supposed to buy that product. I never take a coupon off a product unless I am going to buy that product… tearpads however, feel free to take a few if you will use them- but if a coupon is on a product, it is meant for that product.

      • Gillian

I have a question regarding peelies…I know you said that peelie is intended for the product that it is attached to but what if it isn’t for that product at all? For instance, at my local grocery store there are peelies on Kashi cereal for Kashi pizza. Do I need to by the cereal to get that peelie? Thanks in advance!

  8. Brianna

I don’t have the Zegerid Q in my August All You?????

    • Elizabeth

I think it’s on page 66. It’s not listed in the index.

      • Brianna

Yep, I got it… wonder why it wasn’t in the index? Odd. I really appreciate the heads up!!

      • Jenna

Thanks! I was wondering the same thing!

  9. Elizabeth

Does anyone know if this can be done for the Right Guard deal:

    Buy 2 Total Defense 5
Use $1 off total defense 5 printable
    Use B1G1 free coupon
would be $1 moneymaker since it’s already B1G1 free.

I’ve done these type of deals in the past at other stores. I’m just not sure if CVS will allow it. Obviously I plan to purchase other things to cover the overage.

Actually my scenario totals $36 something plus tax before coupons and after coupons would be .46 plus tax if I can use the $1/1 and B1G1 free coupons above. Plus I’ll get back 27.97 in ECB!!!!

    • Tawanda

      Elizabeth,

I don’t think you can use the $1 off coupon. You have a BOGO free sale and then when you use a BOGO free coupon, it cancels both out and makes it free for 2. Your $1 off coupon won’t have anything to “attach to” so it will beep. I’m curious about your proposed transactions. DO you have time to list them? Or email me at ta_mc@live.com

    • Belinda

you can use the bogo coupon and get both free. the only way you can use to coupons is if both coupons are for a $amount off.

    • Melissa Hayes

I think you’d be able to do that. You’d be purchasing 2 deoderants and using two coupons (one BOGO and one $1 off). Today I bought 2 Colgates toothpastes, which were a BOGO, and I used 2 $1 off coupons. It should be the same situation.

      • Kelly

It’s not quite the same with the Right Guard, though. With the Colgate, they were on BOGO sale, and you used two $1 off coupons, which is fine. But with the Right Guard, they’re on BOGO sale, and she wants to use a BOGO coupon and $1 off coupon. Each coupon has to attach to a product. The BOGO attaches to both deodorants, and the $1 off coupon will have nothing to attach to, so I don’t think it will work.

    • Elizabeth

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I’ll take both the $1 off and the B1G1 coupons. If it works, great! If not, that’s ok too. $3.46 would still be a great price.

Tawanda: I’ll email you my scenario later tonight. I’m in the middle of a few things right now and I have to run out in a about 15 min. Sorry!

      • Kelly

If you’re able to, I’d love a copy of that scenario as well! kellaphin@yahoo.com

      • Tawanda

        Thanks Elizabeth!

    • Elizabeth

Ok, I just returned from CVS and the cashier wouldn’t take the $1 off 1 coupon and the B1G1 free coupon, but not because of the buy 1 get 1 free sale. She didn’t understand the concept of using the $1 off on the 1 I’m not getting for free. I tried to explain it to her, but she said ‘it’s agaisnt the law to use more than 1 coupon on 1 item’. I politely said, ‘ok then let’s not use the $1 off 1 coupon’. She was an elderly lady and was my only option. I’m pretty sure my normal cashier would have let me.

Oh, and for those wanting my scenario…..I’m going to do that here shortly. I did make a slight error on my calculations though so my ECB for that transaction wasn’t as high as I originally thought.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can kind of see how it wouldn’t be right. I have done it a few times but admit I do feel I am being dishonest. I don’t know the official rule on that one.

    • Brooke

My store allowed it today. I bought 4 right guard deoderants @ $4.49 each. Used 2 bogo coupons on the ones being “bought” and a $1.50/2 on the ones free with promo. So it was $1.50 moneymaker. 🙂

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sobe for free again! And I am saving the new coupons because they expire 9-30.
Hoping for a Target deal as well.

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My CVS was ringing up tomorrow’s sale already. I LOVE my store! So coupon friendly, brand new, clean. I love going there!!

    • wisgirl87

Mine is very coupon friendly too!! The cashiers there are wonderful!!! Luckily my WAGS is also coupon friendly!!

  12. Emily

Heads up – the first Blink tears coupon link prints the coupon at the BOTTOM of the page. Uses an awful lot of blue ink – had I known, I wouldn’t have printed it. FYI! 🙂

    • DEREK

And mine cut off at the bottom too–this happens on my printer sometimes–I was so sad! all that ink then it cuts off an inch too early on the page. Any ideas?

      • Allison

I usually have mine set for black ink only and shrink to fit the page. You can also try to set your printer settings to always show a print preview if you go through the printer settings and not on each print so you can always see what is about to print before it prints and then adjust the size accordingly.

        • Samantha

I have my printer set to always do a print preview and to use the lowest black ink setting possible. This works great except I have to go to high resolution for the Rite Aid Video Values coupons because they won’t scan, otherwise…..the cashier can type it in, but I don’t mind using the extra ink and saving the time for us both!

    • Kate

if you go to your printer settings (find your printers&faxes, and right click on it), a lot of printers will have settings like “black ink only” and “draft quality”. these two settings will make it so you use less ink and then a lot less, too. you can also do default of printing two sheets to a page, so that’ll cut your ink usage in half. but your coupon will be half as big, so maybe too difficult to read…hope that helps out! less ink usage saves you money and is better for the environment, too!

  13. Brianna

    BOOO for wasting ink! =]

  14. crystal

my cvs is limit 6 ,,i have gotten over 25 bottles at kroger this week so this is fair..

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Krogers will only take one BYGO Sobe Coupon. They said would only take one as they all have the same “number” on them!!! First time for me.

      • jareds_butterfly

What do they consider the same ‘number’? Yes, the 10 digit bar code that they scan at the bottom is the same of course but in the top right hand section where the other ‘bar code’ with 16 digits is located, you will notice that every coupon has their own code which makes it legit. Just educate your cashiers and hopefully it will help.

  15. Elizabeth

One deal that I have yet to see anyone post is:

Caliber 1 subject notebooks are on sale for .50 each (2 for $1)
Use your $1 off 2 caliber coupon printing from the magic coupon machine to get 2 for FREE!!!!!

    • Kate

thanks for the tip! i got four for free!

    • Flomolisa

Thanks for finding that. I got that coupon 3 times last week and I ended up with 6!

      • Julianne

Thanks! I got that last week but didn’t think I was going to use it. Now I can!

  16. Heather

can anyone help me understand how to get the BOGO free coupon when you go to the Sobe website? i’ve been there numerous times to play the game and seem to pick the wrong character or the game never completes its self. what am i missing?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The SOBE game is kinda tricky. If you don’t have a code then choose “Play Now” under NO. When they are on the sofa pick a character – I always win every time with any one I choose. Once you choose someone a cameo will appear of their face then you have to wait until a white line forms around the circle…. watch for it… it’s slow. You then have to help them unscrew the lid by using your mouse to move around the dotted line. The character will then flip the cap and hold it. Then it says “Did you win?” You then have to log in to Facebook or Sobe (either) with an email – I am able to play this game 3 times (6 coupons total) with 3 different addresses. Another white line will form around the cap. The character will either be eating lunch and check their bag or looking through their gym bag and reveal your prize… HTH 🙂 Anna

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Also… the coupon prints at the top and has an ad underneath. I cut my paper in half and do a half sheet at a time to save on ink. It then only prints the coupon.

      • Janelle

I tried printing some coupons today with the Sobe B1G1 and it acting like it was printing and the paper came out blank. I tried two different email addresses and they both did the same thing. Not sure what is wrong..the website or my printer. I was able to print other things though?? Any suggestions??

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Elizabeth: I would love to see your list you plan on doing at CVS. email me at SabrenaChristaini@yahoo.com

    Thanks!! Good luck tomorrow.

    • Elizabeth

I tried to email it to you, but it’s coming back undeliverable. Email me at aforcewife at yahoo dot com and I’ll reply with what I did.

  18. DP

Do you know the manager at my CVS tried to tell me I couldn’t use the BOGO free Sobe coupons last week when they were BOGO? He said I couldn’t get both free! I wrote corporate and never received a response, but the next day, he changed his tune. I said “are you going to give me a hard time again? ” and he said “no, go ahead!” Go figure!!

    • Alexis

That always cracks me up…I had a cashier at Rite Aid once look at me so funny when I tried to use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale. She was like…but you’re already getting one for free! I was like, yes, but if I use this coupon, I get them BOTH for free! haha, it just blows their minds sometimes…:)

    • Carol

This is what happened to me the last time I tried to use a BOGO coupon (in this case SoBe) on a BOGO sale item. I wasn’t planning to be in the area again for a while, so I mailed them a copy of the e-mail I received from CVS Customer Care outlining their coupon policy, and highlighted the section related to BOGO coupons and BOGO sales. Now, I just have to head over there sometime this week to see if they’ve adjusted their handling of these.

      • DP

        Carol,

Do you have a copy of that email? I wrote to CVS corporate with no response. I would love something to bring with me to show them next time.

To everyone who is asking about a coupon with a BOGO, I think it varies by store, CVS won’t usually do it, Target usually won’t but Publix will. Again, it depends on the manager/ cashier. My Target won’t even use any coupon with a BOGO coupon. Something about how it’s “attached” to the first one.

    • MIchelle W

I had a cashier at CVS give me a hard time about it too. So I said, “If I brought two sobe waters to the register and you rang them up, how much money would you need?” The cashier said, “$1.59” I said, “Okay, here is my coupon that is valued at $1.59 and plus your company is getting an extra 8 cents for taking this coupon! So on which customer do you make more money???” He realized the error of his ways and rang up my 26 sobes!

    • Shannon

I went to the CVS in Rock Hill, SC (The one on Cherry Rd.). The cashier looked at all my Sobe’s in my cart and said… “It’s a limit of 6!”. So I gave her 6 of my Sobe’s & 6 others (the ones to get free with the coupon) and she then told me they were not accepting those (Sobe b1g1f) coupons per request of their District Manager. I asked her if this was true with all stores and she said “yes”. Of course, I don’t believe her… just wish she wasn’t so rude.

  19. Kelly

i’ve never shopped at CVS before with coupons (don’t have one in my area) but am going somewhere where there are several very close. I was wondering if for the Sobe BOGO you need to have the “coupon” that’s in the ad to take advantage of that or just the card?

    • Samantha

You only need your card or to give the phone number attached to the card to receive any Extra Care discounts or rewards.

  20. Shelly

I just got back from my CVS and they had some amazing clearance deals. Big bottles of Crest Pro Health mouthwash for .53 cents, Blistex and Chapstick for .24 cents, CVS brand childrens pain reliever for .79 cents, CVS brand vapo rub for .37 cents, and Bump-Its (like on TV) for .49 cents!!! I checked the dates on everything and there is at least a year before anything expires so not sure why they were on clearance.

  21. Janet

Right now you can take those BOGO sobe coupons and buy 8 at 1.00 on sale. Special deal they will take 4.00 off that total then with 4 q’s, you get overage because they scan to take off original price of 1.79 x 4 so it’s like over 3.00 in overage after getting 8 for free! I have done that 2 times so far!

    • Janet

oh sorry that is at KROGER

    • RachelA

I tried to do this at Kroger, but they scanned the coupons in at .49 each, since they said that is the price the computer adjusts each to when you buy 8.

  22. maria k

My CVS had a sign up by their sobe display that said “one coupon per customer per day.” I asked at the register and the cashier said the manager came in this morning and put up the sign because there were too many people who used too many coupons and cleaned them out of sobes the last bogo sale. I said that I didn’t think she could do that, and she said that the manager had a right to “set limits”, but I thought that was a limit of how many things someone could BUY, not coupons…. I’m emailing corporate and sobe, I just don’t think thats right.

    • Tara

i hate when store do that. whats the difference to them how i am paying. if they need to set limits, they need to set them for everyone, not just couponers. they are getting the same money if u were paying cash or food stamps, less if you were using a check/credit card!

    • Liz

See, if the manager were smart, she would order more SoBes for a BOGO sale and increase her sales and make her store look better. I don’t understand managers who try to limit couponers. It’s in their interest to get more coupons -> more sales!

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am new to the CVS extra care card.. I would like to stock up on the Purex Sheets because they’re great to send in my husband’s care packages overseas. I see that in the ad it states limit of 1 offer per household with card.. does that mean that they can see that I’ve already purchased one this week, no matter what day I go in again? Or will I be able to use a second coupon a different day this week?

    • DP

Your card tracks how many you purchase, unfortunately.

    • Liz

With ExtraCare Bucks deals, they are tracked via your card. At the end of your receipt, you will see all the ECB deals you completed for the week and any you have partially completed. The receipt will say something like “Purex Complete, Buy 1 Get 2 EB *offer limit reached.”

If it is NOT an ECB deal, then any limit posted is usually just a limit per transaction and not tracked on your card. You can go back later and buy up to the limit again.

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the info! I guess I’m lucky that Rite Aid’s running a deal that’s almost as good.

  25. Jen

FYI regarding the Colgate toothbrush scenario Collin posted (for the $2 EB): I bought the exact item she suggested and it does NOT generate an eb. However, I had asked my cashier prior to her ringing everything and she said based on the wording she thought it SHOULD be a part of the deal. Since it did not generate an EB, she manually printed one for me. Just something to look out for

    • SAHMinCambridge

I didn’t get the ecb either and unfortunately my CVS did not honor the wording. BEWARE the toothbrushes listed in the deal does not/will not generate ecb!

  26. Lisa M

Hey on the covergirl deal there is a whole sheet of coupons in this months Real Simple Magazine that are CVS only coupons. One is for $1.00 off covergirl Clean makeup so that could be used with the MFG coupons too. The other ones are $1.00 off Dove Body wash, $1.00 of Dove Conditioner (not shampoo, which is weird), $1.00 of maybelline color sensational lipcolor, 5.00 off Olay regenerist micro sculpting cream, .50 off Lever 2000 soap, 1.00 off Neutrogena Makeup remover cleansing towelletts & 1.00 off remembrant toothpaste.

  27. Kelly O'Donnell

The Sobe are not BOGO at my San Diego store this week. They are $.77 each. Does anyone else have this flier?

  28. Alexis

Went to a local CVS today and found out (after my whole order was rung up) that they were no longer accepting internet coupons that weren’t from cvs.com 🙁 It was very sad, especially since they had everything I wanted in stock! Thank goodness I live in a city and have three other CVS’s within a 2 mile radius that will accept the coupons…

  29. DP

Ok,remember that I told you guys that the manager at CVS gave me a hard time last week with the Sobe deal? Now he did a total 180 turnaround, and as soon as he saw me, was so nice and asked how many coupons did I have? I said about 30. He said “so about 60 bottles? I said yes, and he said “come in Thursday, I will order them for you” I nearly fell over!! He then said I helped his transaction count!

    • Julie

Yeah, I think it’s pretty common for store to prefer to order more for you if you are buying that many, rather than having you clear out their stock. My understanding is that if you are planning to buy more than 5-10 of an item, you should call the store (no matter which one) and ask if they can order more for you during that week. That way you can take advantage of all the coupons you have, they increase their sales, and you don’t clear out their inventory for others who want to take advantage of the deals on a much smaller scale.

      • DP

This was especially cool though because he previously told me he wouldn’t take them at all!

  30. Deb

On the M&M’s – Buy 2 at $0.89 each and Get 1 Free.
I have a Buy 2, Get 1 Free coupon. So, does that mean I can get 3 and pay for 1 ($0.89 total)?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Be careful w/that. i tried that coupon yesterday and here it was for the big bags. lol so I was stuck w/a bunch of m&ms but I like that haha

  31. Brittany

free sourpatch kids buy 2 get one free use 2 of 3 + lil mm

  32. Tiffany

Can you play everyday and win a coupon or what? I just now realized you can play without having a code…I would have had so many coupons by now…duh!

    • Kali_Gal

Yes, you can play everyday without a coupon. You can also play multiple times with different log in emails.

      • Kali_Gal

I meant to say, you can play everyday without a code***

  33. Jessie

OMG You are sooo Awsome! I just went to print this list and found you can delete items that you don’t wont to buy. You make my life sooo easy. Thank you for every minute you give to this site to help us!!! BTW when can we see another video!

  34. Jaala

Why does my cvs AD SAYSOBE $.77 not BOGO?

  35. Emily

So I usually don’t comment, but I just got home from CVS and am so excited about my deals! I checked out the 75% off aisle, and they had Rimmel mascaras! Two were 9.49, and one was 7.89. 75% off put them down to 2.07 and 1.97, then I used my $1 coupons and got some super cheap mascara. Farther down I found Physician’s formula blush, pressed powder and some pretty eye shadows. They were 11.99, 14.99 and 8.79. 75% off brought them down to 2.99, 3.74 and 2.19, plus my $1 off physician’s formula coupons got me great make-up for super cheap! And my favorite find? An 8-pack of venus breeze cartridges, regularly 23.99. 75% brought it down to 5.29, used the $3 off coupon from the P&G insert, and they were 2.29! PLUS, I then was able to use the coupon for a free bottle of olay body wash with the purchase of a 6-8 package of venus cartridges. After using my ECBs, it was all $3.32, WOO HOO!!!

  36. Hayley

  37. bentleymommy

I am so confused. I have 3 CVS cards which I am rolling ONLY because I used my parents cards to get diapers awhile back- so of course i have been rolling the ECB ever since. My whole point tonight was to NOT have to use all 3 anymore. I took my mom with me and her transaction went fine…
    2 cans of hairspray
    6 jars of fruit
    3 bags of MMs
    3 cards
    Used
    $3 off $15
$1 of 3 MMS (not sure what insert)
    $.50 off 2 mars/mms from machine
    $4 ECB
    Paid $6.50 oop

I had my dads card and I got
    1 bday card
    3 mms

    used
    $.50 off 2 mms/mars from machine
    $1 off 3 mms
    $4 ECB

    Paid $2.45 oop

I used my card and got:
    6 boxes of Kelloggs Cereal 3 for $10….. $20
3 small containers of cereal $1…………..$3
    green bag tag…………………………………$1

    Used
    $5 off $20
    $1 off 3 kelloggs
    $1 off 3 kelloggs
    $1 off 1 small cereal
    $1 off 2 small cereal
50% off green bag tag from machine
    $2 ECB
    Paid $9.50

got $5 ECB, (realized later should have not done the cereal deal twice…) told the cashier and she offered to do something to “help me” (took me awhile to figure out what she did) She returned 3 boxes of cereal and
    refunded my CC# for $9.99.
She then rerung them using a $5 off $15 that spit out and my $5 ECB (errrr) and made me grab something for $2 (I grabbed 2 pepsis for $.99 each) total came to $2.30

Still didnt spit out a $5 ECB, so she tried again…. but crossed off all the cereal off both receipts in the process… and it didnt work, so I thanked her and left….
I am so confused… Did I get a good deal at this point? Or not? Do I just chalk it up to a learning experience? Thanks if you read all this!!!!!!!!
