Rachel’s Experience
It was hard at first to find a restaurant to use it at. My husband works second shift, and the only nights we are together are Saturday after 8 and Sunday, and some of the coupons cannot be used on Saturdays. Also, I had never heard of any of the restaurants on the list, so it was a total gamble. We finally picked Pepito’s, a little Mexican restaurant about 40 minutes away. I was excited to get to try a new place! We invited my sister, since we had to spend $35 dollars to use the coupon, and that is a lot of food for just two people! It was easy to use the site, and the coupon just prints right from your printer, or if you can’t get to a printer right away they send you an email that you can access at any time. Our server took the coupon with no questions asked right when we sat down. We got a quesadilla appetizer, chips and queso, 1 soda, and 3 entrees (I tried to take a picture of all the food, but it wouldn’t all fit in my view finder! There was so much we had to keep moving plates around to make more room). Our total after tip was $47, and after the coupon is was $22. We split the bill 3 ways, so about $7 each, and we all took home a huge box of leftovers. Since each of our entrees were about 7 bucks anyway, it was like getting the tip and appetizer for free. We could have easily fed 4 or 5 people with the same amount of food, and then split the $22 5 ways, making it an even better deal! All in all, I will use this service again, especially when they have promo deals going on.

My family and I decided to take a last minute trip out to Target to correct some “coupon problems” after getting home from a shopping trip, and we decided to quickly print out a restaurants.com certificate for a pizza place nearby. Their pizza is fabulous and we were able to get $25 worth of food and drinks for only $15.90! They even let us order from their “specials” menu, saving us an extra few dollars off our bill. Our meal came with a Large 2-topping pizza, cheesy bread (yum!), a pitcher of soda, and we added on a small pizza for our girls since they’ll only eat cheese. We brought along a $0.25 box of Crayola Crayons and a $0.15 Tops Notebook (from Target, of course!) for each of my girls to color with while we waited for our food. Thanks for making our weekend a little bit sweeter – we had a great time!
