It is my personal opinion that Target has been sucking big time lately.
This looks like a pretty good week for Target to me!!! 🙂
Don’t count on your manufacturers coupons deducting the full amount.
Anyone know why they don’t deduct the full amount? I was going to write a few manufacturers.
I think its because of the “new system” they have been working on where you get no overage. For some reason their system isn’t recognizing that the coupon is for the purchase of more then one (on some coupons) Adjusting a $1.00 off 1 coupon for a .98 item seems to be fixed. But its not reading the ones that say something like $1.50 off 3…and the product is .98 each. Its just comparing the .98 for one to the $1.50 coupon. I SOOOOOO hope they fix this. I’ve been taking those coupons across the street to Walmart until Target fixes this problem.
I have heard they are blaming it on a bad manufacturer code…which is bogus.
They’ve probably reached their print limits, or their time limit. Some Target q’s are set to be removed after a week, some after a certain number of prints overall.
I’m not sure how my comment got put there, but it was supposed to be down farther in response to the ladies who couldn’t find certain Target print Q’s! 🙂
I would write Target, not the manufacturers, unless you’ve been having the same problems with certain coupons at several stores.
Writing the manf is a good idea too, b/c the way I see it, if Target is only deducting the value of 1 item then turning that coupon in , while only deducting .50 off a $1/2 coupon, then an unsuspecting customer may not even realize they’re getting jacked of .50…while Target is reaping the benefit, getting full value of the coupon plus the handling fee!!
I don’t believe for a second its poor coding on the manf. part at all. This is all Targets doing with their new registers. B/C this wasn’t an issue a few months ago.
Hey guys. I went to Target a week ago and later after looking at my receipt I noticed that my 2.50 huggies coupon only took off 1.00, I was SOOOOOO mad, BUT, then I notice that my 1.00 of kotex coupon took off 2.50. So it appears that their system just put the coupons under the wrong product on my receipt. So check your receipts carefully maybe they aren’t adjusting the manufacturer coupon amounts, maybe their system is just putting them under the wrong products on the receipt.
Its happen to me before. But still got jipped. I decided to write down all the bar code numbers to all my man.coupons to see if they were being misplaced or switched. I found the numbers to my $2.50 Luvs coupon…and looked over to see it said $2.11 – …the price of my toothpaste and right located right under my Colgate toothpaste which was $2.11. I got robbed a few pennies, but was able to see that the registers can throw the coupon to whatever it wants if it can’t locate the match.
I think sometimes it works with you..and sometimes against you. But as long as you get the savings in Target Web Coupons and Manufacturer coupons that you were expecting its all good. I still check my coupons real close to make sure that I’m not using $ off the purchase of more then one product. I save those for Walmart until Target fixes the problem.

The chunk 8 oz. market pantry cheese had 50/2 peelies on them – I bought 4 and used all 4 coupons and they went through fine.

Most newspapers allow you to purchase their Sunday paper at their office for the entire week. If there are good coupons I will generally go there throughout the week and purchase more.
One question I’ve always wondered…if you purchase Target regional coupons from ebay or a coupon service, can you use them in an area that didn’t release them? I never see them in my area…

I think you can use them anywhere. unless there is some fine print that limits where u use them… but I don’t recall ever seeing any limitations
My mom and coworkers always send me their newspaper inserts from California – which is awesome because they come with a ton of Target coupons! I use them here in Alabama without issue.
I just checked several Target Q’s that I have in my stash and the fine print says “Limit one item or offer per coupon. Void if copied, scanned, transferred, purchased, sold or prohibited by law. Item(s) may not be available in all stores. No cash value.” I don’t know what the “transferred” bit is about but I really have had no problems.
Last week I used 2 of the same Target coupons on 2 seperate items and my cashier just put them through, no big deal. I guess it depends on the store and/or the cashier.
The “transfered coupons” thing in the fine print means that it’s not to be sold by itself. Of course, those coupon clipping sites get away with it by not charging you for the coupons, but for “processing and handling” I E: you’re paying me $.03 to clip this coupon for you. Getting it mailed from a family member or from a friend does not count as transferring! 🙂

For some reason I can’t find the up and up pantyliner or market pantry bread target coupon. I keep looking through but don’t see them. Anyone else having this issue?

I just got back from Target and I did the Vaseline Lotion, Gillette body wash, Right Guard, Neutrogena concealer, Suave shampoo, and Bio True deals and they all worked. My cashier was very coupon-friendly and appreciated that I placed each q(s) I was using with the item I was purchasing. He understood about adjusting the amount of the q down when the value was more than the item; and he was FAST! (He even remembered my $0.10 discount for bringing in my own bags, which some cashiers can forget if they’re in a hurry.)
Also, check your clearance sections in the women’s clothing department. My Target had an ENORMOUS clearance section (I’m sure they’ve got truckloads of the new season’s clothing coming in.)! I purchased a couple of nice polo shirts for $5 and $2.48 respectively, and then I found a pair of jeans in my size that were $6.24! I still had that $3 off Target Web q for women or men’s denim (expires 8-28), so I got a brand new pair of jeans for $3.24! If any of you still have that q hanging around, I suggest you get to Target. You definitely have to dig, but I’d dig to China for $3 jeans!
I found some Glade Candle Refills (for the candles that were on a great deal late last year). They only had French Vanilla…which will be great for fall/winter, for $1.48. I had a coupon (from when I bought a Glade Tin candle) for $2/2. So I got 2 for a total of .96!! 🙂 However I checked my receipt and it only deducted 1.48 instead of the 2.00! Luckily I did so before I left the store! Went to customer service, no problem got $2 back! So before you leave, check your receipt to make sure the correct amount was deducted for your coupons!
When I questioned a coupon it took forever. They had to shut down the register in order to get the coupons. What happened to you?
I’m not Rachel – but when I’ve had coupons that the register did not deduct properly and I caught the errors before leaving the store they just pull the small box that the cashiers put the coupons in and use my receipt. There is no need to shut down a register – sounds like you had inexperienced managers & cashiers or just plain old drama llamas.
That is exactly what mine did, there is no need to do all the register closing and such! It took about 5 minutes to get the situation fixed! I agree, it was probably inexperienced or new employees.
The Wii Remotes are 29.99 this week! They are usually $50 (40% off!) They are never on sale and so these are great for stocking stuffers!
I had a $4 off of 10 Smart Ones meals and the coupon scanned for $2.25. Fortunately, I caught it before the cashier was finished. She called the manager over and they fixed it on the spot. You have to watch the coupons go through or you may be getting less than what the coupon is saying.
the summers eve cleansing cloths are 1.62 at WM! Better then Target 1.99.
The post says to use the Skintimate regional Target coupon in 8/22 SS. The only two coupons I have from Target are for dog food. Does anyone know where to look for these? Please help…

Can someone pls help me. i can’t print any coupons from the Target link. i am able to print everything else but when it comes to the Target link or anything associated with Cataline Marketing it will not print. Any suggestions?
Did you download the Target coupon printer? And check all their troubleshooting solutions? Adobe and Java both released some new updates recently – are you up to date? Have you tried contacting Cataline Marketing? Have cleared your cookies and caches? Have you tried using another browser? I hope you get it figured out soon.
There’s also a .75 off Kudos granola bar 100 calorie pack Target web coupon that can be combined with $1.00 off 2 manuf. coupon. I don’t remember exactly where the MF coupon came from, but it is from an August coupon book and it is on the same page as the $1.50 off Starbucks ice cream coupon.
Went to Target yesterday- CHECK THE SCHICK HYDRO SHAVE CREAMS! They once again had $5 off wyb Hydro Razor and the Shave Cream. Use the $5/1 Hydro Razor and the $5 peelie on the cream and BOTH WILL BE FREE this week with the sale price for the razors!!! Hydro 5 is $6.99, Shave cream is $2.99!! Can’t beat a close shave for free!!!
I found those peelies too. I don’t think you could use another coupon on the Razor since the peelie says its for buying both the Razor AND Shave Cream??
no unless the 5.00 off both coupon is a target coupon you should not use them both imo
I guess I will need to watch my coupons more. I have had a feeling that I wasn’t always getting the full coupon amount but those receipts can be hard to read sometimes and the way they break down the coupons. I also wanted to add that on Target.com they have a coupon for $1 off Chef boyardee and it’s on sale this week for .87 cents. The register did adjust the coupon to match the price of the product but heck it was still free!
I made sure to watch my coupons very carefully today. I had a few $ of”2″ coupons, but they all went through and were for the correct amount! I was super relieved that I didn’t have to “argue.” I got free White Out, Chef Boyardee, Shout Wipes, PostIt notes, and a lot of other stuff for cheap!
The coupons that say “only 1 coupon per purchase” on both manufacter coupons and target can they be stacked? Or can you only use 1?
Yep, they can be stacked. Most stores will only let you use one of each period, while others let you use more then one of each.. I’ve never tried that with my Target..but I always stack 1 manufacturer and 1 Target and only purchase one of that product. Then go back later if I have more of the same stacking coupons. I envy those who can get rid of all their coupons at once. That would be fabulous for me because I live like 40 minutes away from Target 🙁

I went to Target the other day looking for the post it notes for $1. There were no such things. Were they somewhere special in the store? Thanks for any advice. Also had a coupon off of 2 only take off for 1 item (the mead five star folders) and argued with the manager about it cause she was trying to tell me since they were on sale they would not take off the full coupon amount. I made her do it and then to her surprise when she rang up the coupon post sale without the product it came off at the full $1. LOL she was so confused then but I got my $1.50 back so I was happy. 🙂 I didn’t even know there were issues with the multiples coupons until I just came here. Glad to know about it and will keep my eyes peeled from now on!

I just came back from Target for 2 items…and didn’t notice the register cheated me on my manufacturer coupon. I only used 2 coupons (1 Target and 1 Manuf) but I wasn’t paying attention…now I will…the $1 of 3 puddings came off as $.84..the Target coupon came off right, my receipt should have had $2 off but didn’t. I think Target is very well aware of this and have sent them an email. This seems like a bigger national problem with Target getting the advantage.
I’m having a problem with the Target coupons site as well. The coupons wouldn’t load. I’ve never had this problem before and i can print from other sites just fine . I tried several times since this morning on different computers but still nothing. If anyone is having the same problem, please let us know.
