New to Upromise and wondering what it’s all about?! Check out this post here for more information.
(Thanks, Coupon Katarina!)
I REALLY wish we had a rite aid 🙁 Would love to take advantage of all the deals, specially the glam bag 🙁
YAY!
That’s great news – was hoping eventually Rite Aid would join the Upromise list!! Thanks, Collin!
I can’t add the rite aid card number.
I’m having this problem too.
Just figured it out. Try it without the letters and without spaces. Worked for me!
don’t do the mk at the beginning. You can click on sample card and it shows u what to type in.
Sweeeeet! This works well with my $2389472398 worth of stuff that I get SCRs for each month, so even more savings! Thanks Collin!
bummer.. I would love to add this but I just found out that my Rite Aids are turning into Save A Lots ( greenville,sc) so no more SCRS and UPs.l =(
also as an added bonus if you dont have a upromise membership yet and your are a member of swagbucks theres an offer on the homepage slider that will get you 80 swagbucks for signing up for upromise.
Darn it! I should have thought to check that. 🙂
I don’t see it on Swagbucks…any more information on where?
i dont know guess mine was on the yellow slider on the hompage…have you already done the upromise offer through swagbucks? if not you could check all the special offer walls sorry i cant tell you which one it would be on i have no clue
i cant find it. any help?

Has anyone had any success adding their card? I received an error message. My card number also had letters in it. Do I include those letters?
Yep, that’s it! Exclude letters, do not use spaces.
I must be doing something wrong with UPromise–I have only saved 0.10 towards college in the past 2 years. Has anyone else actually had success with this program? I am just curious….I really tried hard to use it at first and would buy the products and not get any credit.
Jennifer, you need to read the help pages with Upromise. We get dollars every month towards the program. Mostly, it is registering your cards such as rite aid (now), harris teeter (a grocery store by us) and other such places you get those cards similar to Kroger’s. We get pennies back just getting gas at Exxon. It is shopping like you do now, just getting more reward for your kid’s college. We even get points for using ebay. It takes a bit to register your information through the site, but the pay off is great and well worth your time to read all the benefits! There is even a place to go through (I think it is) Century 21 if you are buying a house to get Upromise rewards.
I’ve been a member since DS was about 6 months old, so over 8 years now and have close to $150.00.
The thing with Upromise is you need to have your grocery or drug store cards registered. It doesn’t work if you shop, at say Walgreens, b/c they don’t have a card. But you would get credit if you bought products at CVS. But its only on those items that are on the grocery list. And the grocery list is always changing. For a long time, I would get credit for Huggies, then I noticed none of my purchases were being credited. Looked at the grocery list, and they were no longer part of UPromise (they switched to BTFE) So now I print a new list about every 6 months and keep it in my binder.
Sometimes when I shop online, I’ll go through Upromise, but I also check e-bates and mypoints to see who has the better offer.
I also have several family members linked to my account.
I have been a member since 2006 and so far have $103.37. About 90% of my money is from online shopping and the rest are the cents here and there from Price Chopper (my local grocery store). I have it linked to my daughter’s NY 529 College Savings Account and am super excited knowing that on top of all my crazy coupon savings, I am also putting money that I never see aside for her future!
I cannot get on the rite aid ad perks video page today! is anyone else having trouble?
Are these actual coupons? They say “save $1.00 for college” not “save $1.00”
They are not actual coupons but rather put the $1 into your account. I’ve been a member since my daughter was born in 2004. The best way to get $ for college is through their credit card, not that I’m promoting in anyway, shape or form. I figure this is an easy way to save for college…it’s free money, well if you pay your balance off every month. I’ve got a little over $2000 in free $ for just using my cc for everyday purchases. They have lots of options for the savings though if college $ is not a priority.
This is GREAT news for me since I do a lot of shopping at Rite Aid! I never accumulate much from my grocery store purchases etc…. Glad to have them on board. 🙂
I am soooooooooooo super excited about this! I have been member of Upromise since 2004 and have $550.00 in account (not to mention taht I have bought and sold a house and had the agents who were not century 21 affiliated agents) give me other incentives since I was not getting the homebuying credit (one gave me a home warranty for free, the other sent me a check after closing!). UPROMISE is an awesome program! I would learn everything there is to learn and join if you are not a member! You can even get friends and family to save for you too! We have our student loans linked so that it deducts off the principal quarterly. I shop several times a week at Rite Aid so this is awesome!
