If you’re still looking for a way to make use of the Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets $3/1 coupon, then you may want to head to Target. I’ve heard from 2 readers that these are on a Temporary Price Cut. Reader, Tami, found these for $4.99 and reader, Kari, found them for $4.19. After the $3/1 coupon, you’ll pay just $1.19 to $1.99! These are usually on the expensive side, so this seems like a great price!

    Where was this coupon please??

    • bali

It was in the 8/15 redplum supplement.

      • Rhonda

        Thank you very much. 🙂

Repair man’s dream. They stop up the drain on front load washers. Sorry to be negative but it’s true.

    • Stephen

I have a front load washer and have been using them for over a year now. I think they are the best think since front load washers!!! I stocked up on them when there was a 3 dollar printable and they were BOGO at CVS last year!!!

I have a top load HE washer…has anyone had a negative experience with that type of washer and these sheets?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I haven’t had a bad experience with using the sheets. After every load, I check the rubber lining at the front of the washer to be sure one of the sheets didn’t get caught up during the drain cycle. I do pull out one or two every so often, maybe one every 20 loads. When we first heard about the sheets clogging up washers, we checked the whole drain system and still to this day, nothing gets trapped. I love them, but am aware and check just to be sure.

I have a top loader machine and they got sucked down the drain in the washing machine. Had to take apart the whole washing machine. Never used these sheets again!!! Gave them to my neighbor….lol

    • Kathie M

I have a front load washer and haven’t used these at home yet but I was wondering how they plug up the drain? They seem to be bigger then my DD’s little socks and washcloths, where are they getting stuck at? I just want to be safe, I’d hate to have to call out a repairman!

I have a front loader and haven’t had a problem – one tip I read somewhere is to get a delicates bag (like the little 2-item bag that Tide sells in most Walmarts), then put the sheet in the bag and there’s no way it can get stuck anywhere. Then leave it in the bag when everything goes from the wash into the dryer. Voila, no problem 🙂

    • Brianne

I have a front loader and I have not had any problems with them! Like other have said….I always check to make sure I get everything out of the machine when putting into dryer, and I have had no problems. I love them!!!

      • Rose

I second getting a laundry bag to put the sheets in. I read that tip from someone here a few weeks ago. Prior to that, I never had a missing Purex sheet, and I even cut them in half for small loads.
I use the Tropical scented sheet. Its the right amount of scent, not to light nor to strong. I did not like the other scent…much to strong for me.

        • Jennifer

Don’t cut them in half either!!! I had a friend that did that and the first time she used it, it got stuck in her drain thingy in the washing machine

          • Rose

Should have clarified a bit more. I was using the full sheet, but now that I use the laundry bag, I cut them in half for smaller loads 😉

Where can I find the $3 coupon? I missed out on that one.

I love these for traveling! We’ve been on the road a lot this year and it’s such a pain to carry laundry stuff but I hate the $2 a load for detergent and softener the hotel wants. I put a few of these into a plastic bag and leave them in my husband’s suitcase so they’re always on hand even if we don’t plan on being gone long enough to need them.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, these are great for traveling. I took them with me to Disney World this summer and they were so easy to carry along and I didn’t have to worry about powder or liquid spilling all over. 🙂

      • Julieanne28

I buy these for traveling also! I love them because they are so compact and you only have to carry one item with you.

I just wanted to add some target deals I found yesterday… I was looking in the back to school section and pretty much everything was 50% off. I found a ‘caseit’ binder for just under $6, normally $12. I just happen to have a binder that’s worn out and needed a new one, but there were a BUNCH so I assume you can get them cheaper when they mark down to 75% lol. I also found a 6 peice complete bed in a bag for $15 for twin size… I’m still not sure why because the others near it were $50 for the same exact style/size, but one was pink and one was blue (pink being $50 and blue being $15). Worth looking into if you need new bedding, if I wasn’t running late I would have dug a little further through the pile to see if there were some others, but I had to go. I’m in the DFW area in TX if that helps.

    • Turboturtle_8

I am also in DFW, thanks for the tip!

I found these in a Clearance cart at Publix for 2 for $5.99. I only had $1 coupons, so I paid $3.99 for two, but I was still happy to get them.

  9. Christy Myers

The only downside is they make my clothes smell really strong, but when I got the free and clear they weren’t that strong. I just use them on my husband’s uniforms whenever he comes home from the field and they work great. I’m sure Collin knows how nasty those can get!

Don’t forget these are B1G1 at Rite-Aid this week. Plus, $1 SCR. These are $6.99 at my store, so after coupons .99 for 2, after SCR, free!

    • Mel

I also picked mine up at Rite Aid, but my store they were BOGO for $8.99 and the $1 SCR.

      • Rose

I found a coupon booklet up by the front register that has over $120 in savings, all Rite Aid coupons to boot! Theres one for $1 off the 3-in-1 Purex sheets,(limit 1 per customer though)
so I paid $1.99 and submitted for the $1 SCR.

  11. colleen may

Yes I found them at walmart for 4.79……

  12. Jennifer

I use these and love them! I just went out and picked up 3 boxes. Very handy!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve only tried the sample I got in the mail. How many sheets come in a box?

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No sale on the sheets at my target :(, and my cashier refused the aquafresh coupon, and she jipped me of a 2.00 coupon ( used 6 coupons, only 5 showing on my receipt) this should be fun going back to get it lol :(. Didnt catch it till I left.
