I hadn’t walked into a Walgreens all summer except for one time, I found Hip 2 save last november and was in Wags at least 3-4 times a week. Well I went in yesterday and a cashier noticed me as soon as i walked in!!! she was like were have you been?? have you been shopping at night? (she’s works in the morning) did something happen to you?? I was like no, iv’e been busy it’s summertime!(swimming, movies, circus, vacation) I thought it was hilarious that she even noticed me when I came in and almost demand to know where I had been all this time!
Oh and I’ve also been lazy!!
That is funny..my Wags girl, is Gloria..she’s so nice and even asks about my daughter when I go in solo..She’s the only one, so far at my store, that is so coupon friendly….even when I do 2-3 seperate transactions..she’s very cooperative ! Makes the deals even sweeter!!
Same with me. I almost quit going to one store because the manager is so coupon UNfriendly, but I love the cosmetics lady and several others are really nice to us, too. I usually have my 2 yr old with me and they ask where she is if I happen to get to go out by myself! =D
I went in a Walgreens a few weeks ago and the cashier at the cosmetics counter tol dme how she loves it when I come in. She told me horror stories about other coupon shoppers that made me embarresed for being a coupon shopper and totally understand why so many cashiers get nervous when they have a coupon shopper checking out at their lane.
Anyways, she said that when ever she see’s a person come in with a coupon book she gets nervous, but when I come in – it makes her happy and she can’t wait till I check out. She said there is only me and this one other lady that she is always happy to see. That really made me feel good. It is nice to get recognized and also nice to be told they are happy to see you coming in.
She is aware not all coupon shoppers are difficult. I always talk to the cashiers and say nice things to them and ask how their day is etc…. it seems to make a difference.
If $1 cereal is a hip2save favorite deal, then you ABSOLUTELY gotta come to the chicago area sometime and shop at Jewel. We OFTEN get brand name cereal for FREE once you count those catalinas towards your final purchase price.

Went to Wags the other day. They had the Airwick starter kits on clearance for 2.24 and packages of Downy dryer sheets for $1.09. I had 2 $1 Airwick coupons and 1 $.50 Downy coupon. After it was all said and done, I paid $3.60 for 2 Airwick starter kits and Downy dryer sheets. My reciept said I paid 3.80 and saved 18.80!!! And those weren’t even advertised items…just clearance!

redbox has the same contract…have to wait 30 days from the release date. the 3 major studios put this into effect for redbox and netflix at same time. it is why i cancelled netflix, though i do use redbox

If you got the “Sorry you’ve already printed this coupon” message when you haven’t printed one it just means it ran out of prints.
I couldn’t get the Linsay Olive coupon to work, just bounced you around from their site and Facebook. On their FB wall it was a lot of people complaining because there was not a coupon. Nestle doesn’t go thru, brings it up but when you put your email in and click it says page not found? Used my friends computer to print out 2 more of those Tylenol pain patch coupons, those were a great deal H2S posted last week and it is good all month!
Just found your site, have been using another for all the weekly deals. I LOVE the highlights in red!! I had some Qs for 50 cent off of any one bag of Nestle that will work w/ the candy deall. I wish I could tell a date for others, but I don’t keep them as dates. Also, on the scrubbing bubbles, it told me I had already reached limit. I erased the url back to the apx (something like that) and it refreshed, I put in my address and was able to print 2. Great site, thanks!!!!

Just got back from walgreens and the 2 liter pepsi deal was .88 at my walgreens with the in-ad coupon. So I bought 2 it came up to $1.76 and then I got the redbox coupon for a free rental movie, I did this transaction 2 and I’m happy as I could be!!!!!
They were .88 on the front page of my ad, too! I also had two of the $1/4 coupons that were available in store a few months ago, so I got each 2 liter for .63. Bought a total of 8 (4 per transaction) and paid 5.04 for everything. Plus, I got a total of 4 Redbox codes and was VERY happy that the codes don’t expire until 10/9 !!!

Help! I can’t find any of the Nestle candy that will work for the 2/$5 and be able to use the $1/1 from the Sept Q book. All of the larger oz bags are ringing at $5.99 and I can’t find any that overlap. My Wags mgr says the 22 oz part of the 10-22oz participating sizes must be a typo…is anyone having any luck?

I never have any luck when I go to Walgreeens. I go with Collin’s list and everyone’s deals printed out so I know exactly what to look for. For example yesterday. I ended up getting only the Sense and Spray deal. They were out of everything else on the list. I even checked for the stuff I did not want.
I could understand if I came in on a Saturday before the turn over, but not on the second day of the sale. This is the third time this has happened. I think I might just have to give up on Walgreens. =(
I always ask when their next supply truck will be in and then I go in late on that day to get the items they were originally out of. This works for me most of the time.
I was at Wags today and was VERY pleased to find Downy Liquid Fabric softener reduced. It was the simple pleasures kind and was priced at only 1.39! I had 2 coupons… one for 1.50; the other for .50. The 1.50 one went through without a beep!!! Yeah!!! Free fabric softner!!!
