Jasmere: *HOT!* Free $5 Credit for Taking Survey!

Yay! Jasmere is currently offering up an instant $5 credit that you’ll be able to use on their site! If you have snagged any deals from Jasmere previously, then I’m sure you know just how far $5 in Jasmere credits can go! To get in on this promo, go here and register for a Jasmere account (if you’ve already registered, skip this step). Next, go here and take a short survey. After taking the survey, you’ll receive a unique, single use coupon code. It’s worth $5 off your next purchase and valid through Sept 20, 2010.

Hopefully we’ll be able to put these $5 credits to good use soon! 🙂

For those of you not familair with Jasmere, here’s how it works… Jasmere seeks out lesser-known specialty retailers that deserve national attention. Lots of these companies have a limited budget for advertising, this is where Jasmere steps in. They don’t charge a dime for the national exposure, but just ask the merchant to provide an unheard of discount to Jasmere customers. Once they find a merchant to work with, Jasmere negotiates exclusive discounts with them. For 24 hours you can get in on one amazing and it gets even better when MORE people order. You see, when you make an order, you are guaranteed in on today’s offer, but your credit card is not yet charged (not until the 24 hours are up). …And the best part is that the price will drop lower and lower if more and more people order!

(Thanks, Because Cheaper is Better!)

Sorry about posting this I am new to hip2save and did not realize that she used a referral code I would delete the post I made if I could.

Jenny, I tried the link but it takes me straight to the main page.

    • Lpmousse

It did the same thing to me, and I just went through the registration process and then it said at the end that Jenny had been credited.

Um, it’s not really right to post your referral links. Everyone should be going through Collin’s referral links. This is HER blog, after all. Post your referral links on your own pages.

    • ellaci

Yes, since it’s never been explained here, I’m sure many are not familiar with how referral links work.

  5. Lpmousse

I didn’t know that Collin had a referral link. Sorry. 🙁

    • Corrine

All of her links are referral links.

I did this thanks Collin.. for another great post

I signed up and then did the survey but have not received any code. Should it come via email or will it appear on my Jasmere account?

    • Kathi

It should have been on the last page, right where it said Thank you for taking the survey.

    • Krista

You should be able to see your $5 off code by clicking on the link to the survey again – it won’t take you through the whole survey, just to the final page with your unique code. If it doesn’t, you may have to take the survey again – maybe you didn’t hit submit at the end, or there was some sort of glitch.

I learned recently about Jasmere’s referral credit. If the person you are referring that signs up for Jasmere does not make the first purchase on the same computer, you do not get the $10 credit. I had emailed them about it. I think it’s a stupid rule..they claim it’s a technology thing. Just a FYI in case you refer someone in the future!

    • Lpmousse

Well, that’s silly. That should be explained in plain terms on the website, which it is not.

      Thanks for the information!

    • Krista

It really IS a technology thing. It has to do with cookies. I doubt they could change it if they wanted to. The only thing a person you refer should do is click on your referral link again from the computer they will be using to sign up and make the purchase, if they clicked the first time from work or something.

I do agree that people should not be posting their referral links here in the comments. This is part of how Collin makes some small amount of money for all the hard work she puts into the site. You can post your own referral link on your Facebook page (what I did) or e-mail it to your friends.
