Are you looking for an inexpensive “thinking of you” or holiday gift for someone or maybe even a yummy treat for yourself. If so, you may want to check out the Groupon Washington DC Side Deal (this offer is displayed on the right side of the main deal). Today only, you can snag $40 worth of gourmet brownies from Fairytale Brownies for ONLY $20! The best part– the $40 voucher CAN be applied towards shipping and surprisingly, shipping is pretty reasonable. Starting 9/30, you can ship any order in the continental U.S. for only $6.95 per recipient (it’s $9.95 during the summer months due to items being shipped in an insulated cold box to ensure perfect munching temperature).

Fine print: Expires Mar 14, 2011. Limit 1 per person. Online and phone orders only. Registration required. Not valid other offers. Shipping may be included.

I was browsing their site… and by the way, I highly don’t suggest doing so if you aren’t planning on baking a big batch of brownies sometime today. 😉 Seriously, my mouth is watering. Anyway, they have lots of nice-sized packages priced from $30 to $40. The holiday package pictured above is priced at just $33.90, so take into account the $6.95 shipping (if you order starting on 9/30) and you’ll pay ONLY $20.85 total out of pocket to have these brownies shipped anywhere you’d like!

If you haven’t had these before, they are the most amazing brownies you’ll ever eat in your life! We ordered 200 of the assorted for an event and can’t even begin to tell you how good they were! A bit on the high side, they are definitely an extravagance, I’m so excited there’s a voucher!

For 3 more hours, you can buy into jasmere.com’s $19 for $50 worth of skincare products at terralina.com, which is having a b1g1 sale – which CAN be combined with your voucher. If you still have your $5 code from the survey, you stand to get $100 worth of products for $14.

Thanks so much for the tip, Karen. I was contemplating purchasing a voucher and now I’m definitely going too.

The Fairytale Brownie factory is located not too far from us in Arizona. We took a tour several years ago. Their brownies are very delicious, but on the pricey side. This deal makes the prices a little more reasonable.

  7. Mel

Their brownies are amazing! What a great deal!

  8. Suzanne

I recieved these as a gift before – they are delicious but pricey. I’m excited to get them so I can send them as a Xmas gift to a family member that I never know what to get!

  9. Al

Thank you for listing this deal! I’ve been looking for something for my MIL’s birthday next month, but we sent flowers last year and she doesn’t have any hobbies, so she’s the impossible person to buy for. I’m getting her these brownies, and at a price I can afford! You’re a life saver, Collin! Thank you!

Ah! I’m SO glad you posted this, Collin! My boyfriend’s birthday is on Saturday. He had a really rough upbringing and never really got birthday presents. I’m trying to make this a really great birthday for him. I cannot bake to save my life – so I’m ordering him his absolute FAVORITE dessert – brownies! This could not have been more perfect! Thank you!

I hate to say it but we got some of these as a gift and they were not that tasty. They look fabulous but they aren’t really that moist and they flavor is just so-so. I thought it was just me, but we gave several away and everyone thought the same thing. (Maybe it was just our batch?)

    • Denise

Maybe you got an old batch. The ones I had were fudgy and moist. I like the ones with chocolate chips in them the best.

These brownies come in the most beautiful box, individually wrapped. I’ve recieved them two or three times as gifts. They are extremely rich, but I have to agree with Christa Lee, each time I have been just a teeny bit disappointed because most of them seemed dry or a little old. But, they were very much appreciated because it was a very nice gift. 🙂

These brownies are AMAZING! When I was in Iraq, someone sent us a huge box of these. They are absolutely heavenly I tell ya! I am so glad I saw this post. I remembered these brownies a few weeks ago and have been trying to remember the name of the company!
