  5. Rita@Chi-Town Cheapskate

A $5 off a $25 purchase at Toys R Us coupon just came out – I’m wondering if this could be combined to make for a “sweet” deal?

    • krc

      where?

    • tilla ham

thanks, great coupon, now where did i put my money tree?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Looks like its gonna be a tink christmas for my little one 🙂

    • Liz

has anyone ever combined coupons at TRU? it doesn’t exclude it in the fine print, but never stacked there before. this could make for a pretty great deal. most of the time it’s 25 the first week for disney blu ray combo packs at target, tru, and walmart.

      • Norteasterner

it depend on the manager. My cashier asked the manager and she said if it scanned, they would take it. It did! 🙂 So I was happy for the success! I sed it on the Princess and the Frog movie!

    • Jen N

      Thank you Rita!! You rock!

You need to sign in first.

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Why did you delete your post referring to the Free Can of Pringles on Facebook after it was discovered that it was a SPAM collection attempt?? Don’t you want to inform your readers? Very unprofessional.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Wow. go away.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Um yeah I guess it was fake and now the guy that created it has all of our info, wow that’s just freakin awesome

      • Nicole

So the information we gave for the free can of pringles was a scam??

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

All of this stuff is at your own risk. Be an adult and move on. Thanks Collin for all you do.

      • Nicole

Um… I was asking a question I said nothing negative about what Collin does, I just was asking if it was really a scam or someone was just posting that to be negative. Obv I realize anything you sign up for could be a risk but it never hurts to ask a question, when you read something like that!!! I don’t know if your comment was directed at me, but I don’t appreciate “be an adult move on” I have never left a negative comment on any of these posts, and I am grateful for this website and all the benefits and deals that I have come across thanks to Collin, so just wanted to clarify I am an adult responding to another post, simply asking a question!!!!
Thanks Again Collin For All You Do!!!!!!!!!!!!

        • angie

I think it was to the first comment not yours Nicole 🙂

  13. Nichole

CVS has this on sale starting 9/21 for 19.99 with a ECB of $5.

    • mary

The version CVS has advertised is the regular DVD version for $19.99. The $10 coupon is only good on the Blu-Ray combo pack.

      • Nichole

Yeah I did see that after I posted this. Sorry girls 🙁

  14. mary

DMR is offering a free Tinkerbell charm bracelet (you have to pay a shipping fee of $2.85) when you enter the code from the new Tinkerbell movie on their site starting 9/21.

    https://www.disneymovierewards.go.com/promotions/special-offers/charmoffer

It looks like they will have similar charm bracelet offers for Beauty & the Beast & Santa Paws when they are released.

Here is a Toys R Us deal scenario:

-Head to a Toys R Us store (before 9/21) and pay $10 deposit to Pre-Order the Blu-Ray Combo Pack using the pre-order card
-Pickup movie (9/21-9/26 only), will owe $19.99
-Find an inexpensive filler item (equal to or greater than $5.01) to get your pre-tax total over $25
-Use the Toys R Us $5/$25 coupon
-Use the Disney $10 off coupon
    -Pay approximately $10 + tax
-Receive $10 Gift Card back because you pre-ordered the movie
-Final cost out of pocket after giftcard = approximately $10 + tax for a Blu-ray Combo Pack and your filler item!

You can view the deal with links here: https://www.thecents2save.com/thecents2save/2010/09/disney-movie-rewards-10-off-tinker-bell-and-the-great-fairy-rescue-dvd-or-blu-ray.html

    • mary

Instead of the filler item you could purchase the pre-order for Beauty & the Beast if that movie is something you are going to buy anyway. I heard that there was going to be a pre-order for $5. I suppose you would still need a filler for .01 to get to $25 so you could use the $5/25 coupon though. That would keep it rolling so to speak.

      • thecents2save

You are correct. I just looked at my Beauty and the Beast pre-order card. The deal could be pretty sweet if TRU allows a “stack”.

The card says “Pre-order your copy of Beauty and the Beast Diamond Edition Blu-ray or DVD and receive $10 off any Disney Blu-ray purchase $19.99 or higher today”

So if they allow that $10 off with the $5 coupon, the deal is like this:

Head to a Toys R Us store (before 9/21) and pay $10 deposit to Pre-Order the Blu-Ray Combo Pack using the pre-order card
Pickup movie (9/21-9/26 only), will owe $19.99
In the same transaction pre-order Beauty and the Beast Diamond Edition Blu-ray or DVD for $5
Find an inexpensive filler item (gum or candy for $0.99) to get your pre-tax total over $25
Use the Toys R Us $5/$25 coupon
Use the Disney $10 off coupon
Receive $10 off your Tinker Bell movie purchase for pre-ordering Beauty and the Beast
Pay for your $0.99 filler item + tax
Receive $10 Gift Card back because you pre-ordered the movie
Final cost after giftcard = price of your filler item + tax

        • thecents2save

…Then take your $10 gift card back when you pickup your copy of Beauty and the Beast a few weeks later. 🙂

          • Andrea

Along with the Beauty and the Beast coupon, right? 🙂

        • Noelle

When you use your gift card to pick up your B&B movie, will they let you use the $10 MF coupon too? This could be an awesome deal.

        • Marci

I already pre-ordered Beauty and the Beast (when I pre-ordered Tinkerbell last week) and you don’t $10 off that day…it’s the day you pick up the movie, so you wouldn’t get that $10 off the Tinkerbell movie. I am planning to use my $10 gift card when I pick up the B&B movie though. Hopefully there will be a coupone for that one too and we’ll still end up getting both movies for pretty cheap.

          • thecents2save

I am sorry but I think you are incorrect. I have the Beauty and the Beast pre-order card sitting right here, and verbatim it says:

“Pre-Order your copy of Beauty and the Beast Diamond Edition Blu-ray or DVD combo Pack and Save $10 when you buy any Disney Blu-ray $19.99 or higher TODAY” —- “Today” being the keyword, i.e. at the time of the pre-order.

        • Kavi Ravi

I have a question about this scenario. Wouldn’t the $10 off any disney dvd would come off automatically from your total with your pre-order of the B&B being added? which will bring the total down to $15 and change instead of $25 and change?

I have not done any pre-order or buying a dvd with pre-order to get $ off savings on another disney dvd. So I was not sure how this will work at toyrsus?!!!!

  16. countrylady

I have a question about the Blu-ray movies. Can you put those in a regular DVD player or do you have to have a Blu-ray player to use them?

    • Anonymous

Need a blu-ray player, you can put a regular dvd in a blu ray player though. Alot of the blu rays that are out are combo packs so it will have a regular dvd as well. I use a PS3 at my blu ray player

    • Latasha

you MUST have a blu ray player. If you have a Play Station 3 those will play blu rays

    • thecents2save

You must have a blu-ray player BUT most all of the “Blu-ray Combo Packs” now include both a blu-ray and a dvd.

  17. countrylady

Thanks everybody about the Blu-ray. I alway wondered but actually knew.

  18. betty-jo

Can you use one of the $3 off $3 purchase birthday cards with the $10 off tinkerbell coupon?

    • betty-jo

The $3 off coupons they send in the mail for the kids birthdays.

      • Norteasterner

        yes, you should.

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

is there a coupon for just a plain old regular dvd?

  20. Mama Bear

I’m another one having problems getting it to print. I did log in and I tried all morning.

  21. Mama Bear

    Nevermind, I got it.

  22. Mama Bear

I have read that the Tinkerbell pre-order deposit is $5 and $10 at TRU. Has anyone done it already to confirm? Thanks.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was just there. The Tinker Bell deposit is $10.

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just called Toyrus and they said you put the $10 deposit on the movie, but the $10 comes back as a gift card when you pick up the movie.. It DOES NOT reduce the price of the movie..

    • Andrea

That would be a first- a deposit always comes off the price of what you are reserving. The $10 GC you get is a bonus, otherwise, why would you want to bother reserving a $29.99 combo pack when it would be cheaper elsewhere? 🙂

  24. Angie

So, I went to Target yesterday and made a purchase there. After I received my receipt the cashier handed me two printed coupons that came out after the receipt. One of those coupons was $5 off the Tinkerbell Blu Ray Combo Pack. So if I understand this correctly. I should be able to stack the two coupons at Target to get $15 off???

    • Tara

Was that a Target coupon that printed for you or a mannie? If it’s a Target coupon that yes you can stack them. That’s awesome if it’s a Target coupon!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Well, it had a target logo, so I am assuming its a Target coupon
