Still waiting on my rebate, but I was told they hired a different company around Sept 24th to process the rest of the rebates for the FULL amount (without subtracting any coupons, rewards, etc).

    • Piper

Thanks for the info. I had almost given up on getting mine.

      • Alea

I called Tuesday, because I am feeling the same way.

    • Kristina C

thanks for the update… I have been waiting too. I called about 2 weeks ago but I didnt get the full scoop!

    • Alea

I’ve actually lost a lot of faith in rebates over this and the Aveeno rebate which I still haven’t received.

      • Diane

I haven’t received my aveeno rebate either.

      • Jenn

I haven’t gotten my Aveeno rebate either!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww, that sucks. I sent mine in July and nothing as of yet. Hopefully we will all get it. Thanks for the info.

    • Hazel

Thanks! I was just about to ask if anyone got their rebate back. Glad I’m not the only one!

    • SUSAN

I got my rebate in the first week of September, so it worked out fine for me.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I haven’t received my Aveeno rebate either. 🙁

    • bfam

Just talked to them (Neutrogena) this week and they told me 3-4 more weeks! ANy update from Aveeno from anyone?

      • Wanda

I received a letter from aveeno stating I am not getting the rebate – -I did not have the right product???? Not trusting them at all.

        • bfam

I just got the same letter from Aveeno saying I didn’t purchase the correct products. I bought 4 of the shamppos and conditioners that they picture on the rebate form! I’m not going to let them get away with it. I’m calling them!!

    • Christina

I haven’t received my Neutrogena rebate either, can anyone give me the phone #? thanks

  2. BETH

Thanks Collin! I just ordered mine. 🙂

  3. Lisa

I’m so glad I’m not the only one….I’m really wondering if I’ll EVER see a penny.

  4. Dafna

Hey — thanks for the great tip and the step-by-step instructions (much appreciated!). I just placed my order and it worked just like you said it would.

  5. Leigh

I’m still waiting on my $40.00 rebate, also! I refuse to give them any more of my money until I get my rebate. It is past the amount of weeks that they stated on the rebate form. Is there any agency that we can report them to?

    • Alea

All three times that I have called (once in August, once in September, and then this week) – they do seem genuinely sorry for everything. They do admit that they weren’t as prepared as they should have been for the HUGE response they got. I am very disappointed that I am still waiting, but I believe they are honestly trying to get the rebates out as fast as they can. Since the first rebate company HUGELY messed up by subtracting gift cards, earned rewards, numerous coupons, etc – they are also trying to fix all those rebates by sending out add’l checks to those people to cover the amount they should have received in the first place.

      • Hayden

Thanks for the update! I made copies of all my paperwork and was about to call – but you saved me time! Glad I’m not the only one – but I hope everyone gets their rebates soon!

      • Doubledj

What is this rebate everyone keeps talking about? Is it with Target, ebates or something else?

        • Leigh

It was a Netrogena mail in rebate that was back in July. It was to get one of their clinical products free-$40.00. It was good for about only a week.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They seem to be going to all lengths to try and rectify this situation and I think that deserves a pat on the back. While the rebates are not comining the 6-8 weeks estimated they will be honored. I think this is a great company and a great product and its sad that their reputation has been some what tarnished by this.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Is this B1G1 at the store too?

    • Alea

      It’s an online deal only.

  7. Trudy

I was just thinking about my rebate the other day, too- still haven’t gotten mine and it was sent in July. Glad to see I’m not the only one! Hopefully we’ll all get it soon- would not have bought it in the first place if it weren’t for the rebate…

This is a great deal- I really love this stuff, but gosh it’s so expensive! Thanks for the great deal, Collin… just snagged some. I was beginning to stress over what to do after running out of my (supposedly *free*) supply that I’m almost out of. lol No way would I pay $35 for this, though… too cheap!

  8. Steph

    Deal went through! Thanks!

  9. Kathryn

The description says these bottles are ONLY .5 oz. Is that right? I can’t imagine paying even $16 for two of these kits if that is the case, no matter how discounted they are!

    • Alea

      Yes they are TINY tubes.

      • Dana B.

Yep, small tubes – lasted about a month. The serum one ran out way before the other one for me. I used it like the instructions said, hmmm.

        I’m in for two though…can’t beat $8 a set!!!

      • Kristina C

they are small, but I noticed a HUGE difference in my skin right away. i will buy again, but not at regualr retail price!

  10. Kat

All of the buy one get one items were out of stock.

    • Kat

Wow–Disregard my post! Even though it didn’t say it was a B1G1, the freebie was deducted after I entered all of my info. Thanks so much, Collin!

  11. Robin P.

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE USED THIS, DID YOU NOTICE A DIFFERENCE AND WHICH KIT DID YOU BUY?

    • Tawny

Even though the tubes were small you only use a dime sized amount. They lasted a month and a half for me. I really liked the way my skin felt hydrated afterwards. It did seem to make a difference. I would consider paying up to $10 each, but never full price. One side note: make sure to wash your hands after applying because if you floss afterwards it leaves an awful aftertaste.

      • Trudy

Agreed. I only wear this once a day (during the day- I got the one with sunscreen). I believe I’ve had these since July (whenever the big rebate was) and I STILL am using it, though getting low. I miser it. I really, really like it- I think I can tell a difference… my skin seems more taut and youthful. Of course, I also put pure coconut oil on my face at night- so not sure which contributes more. But anyway- def. worth $8 a piece!

  12. letty

I have been waiting for a deal like this on this item. I was too late everything is out of stock 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Me too!

  13. Kelly

I got it! I ordered it about 45 mins ago and came back just now to order more and everything’s gone!!!! Looking forward to trying it! Thanks Collin!

  14. Christine

Out of stock already. That stinks. I was wondering what I could use these gift cards I got from them this week on too 🙁

  15. Yolanda

For everybody that has not gotten the rebate on the Neutragena deal, I got mine like a month ago but it wasn’t for the full amount, it was minus the coupon that I used. Hope this helps for everyone not to lose hope because it is going to arrive but don’t expect the full amount like I said. On the other hand I think that olay is better with rebates, every single one that I have done comes very fast and for the full amount!! Maybe is because the rebates go to El Paso Tx and I live in San Antonio and that’s why I get it fast. Good luck and don’t lose hope!

  16. Sherri

I did not try to get the Target deal since I have not received my first rebate, but I loved using this product. $35 to $40 seems relatively expensive in comparison to the amount of product provided, but I noticed an immediate improvement in the texture of my skin when I began using it. Hopefully, Neutrogena will get everyone’s rebate to them as they appear to be trying to do. After I get the rebate, I will likely purchase this product again when I have a good coupon + a sale. Aveeno, though, anyone seen the rebate of $10 from a while back? I haven’t received mine or seen much about it. Thanks!

  17. Darlene

I will not purchase Neutrogena again. I e-mailed regarding the rebate I mailed in July. Their reply stated I must contact them via 1-800-582-4048. The first time 9/15, I was told the person handling rebates would call with in the week – two weeks later I called again and got the same reply. I think they need a better customer relations department. I’m sorry that I used my RRs and cash to try this product.

  18. candie richard

i never got my rebate from last time. any suggestions?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They are behind. But it will come. Id give it a few more weeks

  19. ann

I got a letter from Neutrogena saying I did not qualify for the rebate. I emailed them stating would the April rebate be the reason I did not qualify because I could think of no other reason. They said yes, because I had gotten the April rebate I did not qualify for the July rebate because the July rebate was a makeover of the April rebate (OMG). I emailed back asking for the supervisors contact info and shortly thereafter, received an email saying the check would be in the mail in a month. I received the check in a week. I had not used any coupons or rewards when I made the purchase so I did not have that hassle.
