…AND I have yet another *HOT* Rite Aid deal to share! Here’s the email I received from reader, Susan:

Hey Collin, I wish I had ya on speed dial because I’d have called you from Rite Aid this afternoon to tell you about the NYC Cosmetics deal you posted and how awesomely free it is!!! This deal is rolling and there is no limit on the +Up Rewards! All you have to do is purchase one NYC cosmetic face item (eye pencil, lip gloss) priced at exactly $1.99 and in the same transaction purchase one NYC “in a New York Minute” Nail Polish (also priced at $1.99). Per the ad, you get the nail polish free, and a $1 +Up reward for each item purchased that’s valued at $1.99 or more, so it prints out 2 $1 +Up rewards for the two items. So I guess it’s technically a $.02 money maker each time you do it – no coupons needed! But if you have the All You Mag Coupon, it’s a moneymaker!

So if you don’t have any coupons, you can do the following deal:
Buy 1 NYC Color Eye, Face or Lip Cosmetics priced at $1.99
Buy 1 NYC Nail Enamel priced at $1.99 (FREE with purchase above)
Pay $1.99
Get back 2 $1 +Up Rewards
Final cost both FREE!

Or if you have the All You mag. coupon, you can do this deal:
Buy 1 NYC Color Eye, Face or Lip Cosmetics priced at $1.99
Buy 1 NYC Minute Nail Polish product priced at $1.99 (FREE with purchase above)
Use the Buy 1 New York Color Eye or Minute Nail Polish Product and Get 1 FREE NYC product of equal or lesser value coupon from the All You October issue
Pay $0
Get back a 2 $1 +Up Rewards
Final cost both FREE + a $1 moneymaker!

Or you can use the printable All You coupon available to score this deal:
Buy 1 NYC Color Eye, Face or Lip Cosmetics priced at $1.99
Buy 1 NYC Nail Enamel priced at $1.99 (FREE with purchase above)
Use 2 $1/1 NYC coupons found here
Pay $0
Get back 2 $1 +Up Rewards
Final cost both FREE + a $2 moneymaker!

    Wow! awesome shopping ladies!

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

AWESOME! I am going to Rite-Aid right now! These would make great stocking stuffers, but who am I kidding, I will end up using it myself!!! =) Thanks Collin!

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sometimes Collin says to use 2 of the same printable coupon as she did here. Does that really work? At which stores?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yep, it does work. You are able to print two coupons most of the time and each one has a different bar code. That is what makes it work at our stores.

    • Mouni

Yes, it works. Printables are manufacturer’s coupons and you can use one per item. Thanks , Colin! I was looking for a coupon for NYC to get a good deal on those. My daughter likes to play with makeup and this will be perfect. 🙂

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Headed to Rite Aid now….thanks again Collin!

    • Jennifer

Let us know if it works for you!

  5. Tricia

I did this deal on Sunday and it worked beautifully!

Buy 13 NYC cosmetics priced at $1.99= $25.87
    Get 13 Nail polishes FREE
    -$5/$25 12/31/10 coupon
    -$1.00 x 4 Allyou.com coupons (printing 2 coupons from 2 different computers)
    = $16.87 OOP
Receive $26 in UP rewards, making this a $9.13 MM!!

    • rebate queen

I thought Collin had posted that Rite Aid was not taking the $5/$25 coupon anymore???

      • shannon

i went on sunday and they beeped but they still took them

        • guest

keep putting it out there and I guarantee you no one will be able to use it in a matter of days!

        • robyn

this coupon(s) are for people who sign up for the wellness card. i truly believe it is not supposed to be for everybody. when you sign up they send you an email with these coupons in it. it bothers me that this is even available to everyone.

      • Katie

I asked my Rite Aid yesterday if they were accepting the 5for25 coupon and I was told that they were accepting it and it didn’t beep once. (I used the one expiring at the end of this month.)

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried to use the one for nov. and the girl said its not working. sad but still rite aid has some kick butt deals!!!! with or with out the 5 off 25

          • Dana

my store got a memo today changes in the $5 of $25 purchase, if the coupon beeps, or will say on the register not valued then we are no longer allowed to take it

    • roxy

I tried to do the above deal yesterday (13 items + 13 polishes) and the register only gave me one free polish so I had to cancel the transaction. It would have cost me approx. $40 and I wasn’t even sure if I would get the +Ups. 🙁

      • melissa

The 99 cent nyc nailpolishes arent ringing up bogo.the cashier had to manually enter it as zero. but i did do the above transaction with the $5 off $25 and it worked!!!1 TYVM collin!!!!!!!

        • rebate queen

          Same here!

The prob with the .99 polishes is that you don’t get a upreward for it. If you get the 1.99 polishes, they are still free, plus you get an extra $1 upreward.

I figured this out too late 🙁

  6. Sarah

I tried to do this and got it all organized and ready to check out and my products were ringing up at 1.59 instead of 1.99 due to my 20% discount…..I just cancelled the whole thing but now I am wondering if it still would have worked. I just assumed that I wouldn’t get the free nail polish becuase I wasn’t paying 1.99….hmmm….

    • Aubrey

Do you still get up rewards when you don’t use your card. I am still trying to figure this new program out……

      • Tricia

No. You have to use your card to get the UP rewards.

        • Aubrey

          Thank you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Mine also rang up at 1.59, but after going through with the transaction they were 1.99BOGO. So go through with it and see what happens. Maybe just do two if you are really unsure, but I am 100% sure it will work. Oh and I did get all the UPS for it making all 6 of them free 🙂

    • Super Saver Sarah

Anytime an item is B1G1 your wellness discount will still show on the screen that you look at. This is because if you were only to buy one of the B1G1 free items, you’d get the 20%. However, since B1G1 is a better deal that 20%, buying more than one nets you the B1G1 sale discount. Even though they show on the screen as 20% off, watch your subtotal & the BOGO line on that screen because they are usually correct even though the item line shows you’re getting 20% off. Once the cashier totals the transaction it will be fine, even if it never looks “fine” on the display screen the customer sees. I have 20% and I’ve done this deal multiple times and have gotten $1 +UP for each item and the free nail polish each time.

However, the accessory items like sponges, brushes and things like that are reporting to NOT work for this deal. You have to buy an actual cosmetic. 🙂

      • Super Saver Sarah

Also, at this time the $5/$25 PDF coupon with a 12-31 expiration is still working fine.

    • Doreen

Sarah, the price adjusts back to $1.99 once all the items are scanned. I did it the other day and the nail polish price came off, I used 2 $1 coupons, paid tax and got 2 $1 UPS.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      it would have worked

  7. Erin

Somewhat off the subject, but does anyone know if the $5/$25 Video Values Qs from last month are working? I printed mine before they removed them.

    • Krista S.

Mine worked yesterday (monday) when I went to Rite Aid. No beeps, no problems. The PDF one I printed beeped on Saturday but she pushed it through. I’m assuming they are no longer pushing the PDF ones through.

      • Erin

        Thanks for the info!

  8. rebate queen

I can’t find the printable All You coupons after going through 22 pages to look for them….??

    • shawniern

go with area code 90210… it was there.

      • rebate queen

        Thanks!

    • LeeAnn

I didn’t put in a zip code and found the coupon on page 1, second column, second coupon. Hope that helps!

    • rebate queen

      Nevermind…found it!

      • SenoraE

        Can’t find it now. 🙁

  9. shannon

does anyone know if this sale is in the short ad?

    • Amanda B.

I shop at a short ad store and it is advertised, labeled and it worked for me yedterday!

      • Amanda B.

        *yesterday

  10. lilroysmom2

    I just went and got
2 bags of halls cough drops
    1 2pk nyc eyeliner
    1 nyc nail enamal

i used $1 off halls manufactures coupon
oct & nov video coupons 50 cents off halls
and 2 $1 off nyc printable coupon

pd $1 oop and my 2 $1 ups for the nyc products didnt print but the cashier gave me $2 cash back so it was still $1 money maker

just becarful with the NYC deal not only because the ups werent printing but because the coupon is for $1 off $1.70 or more and its tricky to find the 1.99 product the regular eyeline was only 99 cent but i found a 2pack of mini eye liner/eye brow pencils for 1.99 . also watch what nail enamil you pick up to because you run into the same thing with it ringing up as 99 cents and not being able to use the coupon (unless of course they dont have a problem adjusting the NYC coupon down)

    • anonymous

Yeah, watch out because some of the eye liners are only $0.99, and so even if you get a $1.99 nail polish, the eye liner was not enough to make it B1G1. Bought a total of 16 things today, had 4 $1.00 NYC coupons, so since it only rang up as $0.99 and so did one of the nail polishes, I didn’t worry about it, because it was still free and I wanted the eye liner….but if you’re looking for free make sure your items are $1.99. Who would have ever thought that to buy a more expensive product will get you the cheaper price! Thanks hip2save!

      • Kira

The dual sided eye liners are $1.99(Yes for Up & free nail polish.) The single sided eyeliners are $.99(don’t pick these.)

  11. Jennifer

Awesome! I have a few coupons so I will go and buy 4 products for free! I plan to add them to my nice little stash of goodies to make up gift bags for teen girls to donate to Toys for Tots. My office participates every year and we are always short on gifts for local teens. So I have been gathering stuff all year as I get it for free. Purses from Target, lip gloss, polish, body wash, nail files, lotion, gum and snacks, etc. I am excited to see how many I can make from my freebies! If you have a stash of stuff too, please consider making up gift packs to donate to Toys for Tots! Simply put together a cellophane bag of goodies with some ribbon and there you go!

    • Michelle L.

      Jennifer,

My Target has rolls of red and blue cellophane on clearance for $.80.
You might want to check yours. It was on an end cap in the stationary area. Red would work perfect for Christmas.

      • Jennifer

Awesome! Thanks for the tip Michelle! I love giving and am excited that there is a way I can do so this year in spite of the fact that our budget is so tight.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

dont for get to sign up for the bath and body works emails they will send you the coupon for the travel sized items free with any thing you buy $1 for a hand sanitizer and a lotion is not bad and you can get them to match. the boys and girls club is also another good one to help we do it and some of the clubs let you help with the parties so you get to the kids get BIG smiles in there faces Thats the best gift!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Just did my RA run.
    11 bags of Halloween Candy = $27.50
    – $5/$25 coupon
    – $5.50 manuf coupons
    – 2 $1 off video coupons for non prescriptions
    – $1 off Candy Video Coupon
    – $4 +up rewards = $10.
    Get $10 + up rewards…….Love it!

  13. Robin

Awesome idea!! My two girls can only use so much make-up!! I’m going to get some right now and we will be doing that this year as well!

    • Jennifer

Woo hoo Robin! I know that the teens will appreciate our efforts! 🙂

  14. couponluver

I just did 2 transactions, broke them both out to above $25 and used 2, 5 off 25 coupons

    got $114.67 worth of makeup/polish
    used $38 in UP’s
    used 7 $1 NYC coupons
    spent 0 out of pocket
applied $5.94 to a gift card
    and EARNED $54.00 IN UP’S

YAHOO!! Awesome deal, my daughters are going to love me when they get home from school!!

  15. kelly

they wouldn’t let me roll the $2 UR from transaction because apparently I was using a $1 UR and the total was 99 cents after the first UR. (even though 6 cents tax pushed it over $1). So I had to throw a 34 cent candy in each one. but I still got 3 lip gloss and 3 nail polish (and 2 candies!) for 70 cents, so still a great deal to stock up for Christmas!

  16. Kurdy

I noticed from my shopping trip yesterday that the Samy heat protection spray BOGO also gave me an UP+ for each bottle. Awesome

  17. Cheri

I just got back from RA and had so much fun. I love this store. I bought 4 pkgs of oatmeal, 4 lip gloss and 2 eyeliners and received 6 free nail polish. After all Coupons I Paid $8.50 (used gift cards from previous purchases) and received $14 in UP rewards. It’s a HAPPY DAY!!!

  18. Mandy

Thank you so much for this deal! I just got 2 nail polishes & 2 eyeliner duos for .34 + $4 in UP rewards!

  19. Mrs. I

sorry if this is repetitive, but can you use the +UP rewards that you earn on the NYC products to buy more NYC products and still get the +UP rewards?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

yes I think so I think all of rite aids ups roll there not as uptight as Walgreens!!!

    • couponluver

      yes

    • Susan

      Yes, this does roll!!! 🙂

      • Dana

just make sure you dont hand one over that would take it below zero,, you have to pay the tax, and when the up reward is scanned it marks it as used, so if you cant use it you would lose it

  20. stacy

2 boxes of oatmeal, nail polish, eyeliner, 2 toothbrushes 2.57.. 3 dollar in rewards woot woot

and is that right you can roll the ups for NYC?

  21. WynetteC

Okay, just got back from Rite Aid, this deal worked almost perfectly. But a heads up on what caused me issues:
There are several items that are priced $1.99 (Eye, lip, or face) so I grabbed some of these.
I grabbed some nail polishes (mixed it up with some that were 99¢ and some that were$1.99)
Odd thing was that any nail polishes that were 99¢ did not come off as the BOGO free item at the register, so I just removed those and replaced them with the $1.99 nail polishes and then it worked as stated above. So caution to any of you who are running in to do this deal, make sure the nail polish is $1.99 and not 99¢.

    • Jessica

yes be careful..if thec polish is .99 it wont generate the up reward either…learned that one on the first transaction..

      • ej

arrrr wish i iwould have noticed this. there were only 2 1.99 polishes left and both were ugly, bummer. i did the 99 cent and only got one up

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

my rite aid had the signs for this offer but when I tried to check out it was not showing they were buy one get one free. I chose a $4.99 eye shadow and got one $4.99 free. The cashier said that they weren’t in the promotion but I said look in your ad and look where your signs are. She huffed and looked and had to manually over ride them. She also did not use my card because she said it was giving me 20% off the first and we don’t give back money. I had the buy one get one free from All You Magazine so I was getting both free. She had to ask the other cashier if you could do this, I said yes, and she said not talking to you. After the purchase my ups reward did not print and it was because she did not use my card. I said I am suppose to get a $1.00 ups rewards and she huffed again and said, I hate those Ups. Well, the other girl gave me a $1.00 but I should have gotten 2 because I purchased 2. O well I am really getting tired of the attitude at my Rite Aid.

          • leftusafor3

thats horrible. If the cashier modifies the price it wont print out the up rewards. What I do for my customers is return all products and refund all money…including the money off from the coupons(I give back cash in place for the coupons, since once used they cannot be used again and the computer has already registered them) Then I would re-ring the products with the wellness. The up rewards should then print. If they still dont and you have the correct products for the up reward then call 1800-RiteAid and they will mail you your upreward promptly. Before you pay anytime ask the cashier to scan your wellness. No matter what you buy there is no excuses your wellness card CAN be used. Another tip, if you have dealed your way down to just under a dollar and you don’t mind using an up reward. We CAN use an up reward. Say if you owe .75 you can use your $1 up reward. The cashier can manually enter in the coupon as .75 and you will pay nothing, but lose .25. Just wanted to tell you all so you can have 1 up(ha) on your cashiers that are not to friendly.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The deal was buy one product that was 1.99 or above and get a free 1.99 nail polish. You have to purchase the correct products for the UPS to work. If you do you will get 2 UPS for the two items purchased making it free.

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I bought the 1.99 eye makeup and got the 1.99 nail polish free. My total came to 2.09, I had 2.00 in up rewards, but they would only take one. Saying they couldn’t take two because I had to pay the tax. Is this true?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

yes, we have to pay the sales tax.

  23. audrey

I have 3 girls who are gonna wake up Christmas morning thrilled to open their stockings b/c they will have real makeup in them! I was able to score 5 lipsticks, and 5 nail polishes today and still have $10 in UPs rewards! Never attempted to do RA but I might be hooked!

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did my Rite Aid transaciton and the only available checker was one that I try to avoid because she is very unfriendly to couponers. Before we ever began the transaction when she saw I had NYC in my cart she told me she would only take 1 BOGO coupon for the BOGO sale, it didn’t pertain to me since i didn’t have a BOGO coupon…but that is not in the coupon policy right?
Then I went back through the line to buy some milk with my ups and she told me that milk is an “item prohibited by law” in the fine print and cannot be purchased with an up. Since she regularly says that things are not allowed when they are, I asked to see the manager and he confirmed that dairy products fall under “items prohibited by law” ………what?!? Has anyone heard of this?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If they are that unfriendly to you call the ups people and confirm that is true. It is getting to where there is not a cashier I want to go to at my Rite Aid. They are jst getting awful to couponers. Just so disgusted with them all.

  25. leftusafor3

Hi, I wanted to tell you how much I love your deals. Thank you for allowing us to get things for nothing. Esp. in this economy. I wanted to let you know that I work for Rite Aid as a manager and I love using the Rite Aid deals at work and with my employee discount, I get even more out of your deal sceanrios. In Addtion, I have some inside information. We have all been notified about our new coupon acceptance policy and some of your readers are still trying to use thier downloaded $5 for $25. They do beep on the register and although previously we would manually log them in, that will happen no more, Your readers need to know that before they go and try do use them. I feel it would be a great inconvience for them. I know at my store, we are friendly to our fellow coupon savy customers, because our head manager knows as a store we send out our coupons weekly and get paid back for them. We do not limit coupons, but pay close attention to the printed at home coupons. I love when those up rewards print out and our customers pay nothing.
Thanks again for all you do for us who don’t have the time to get the most for our money.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your information. I have a wonderful rite aid near me that is VERY coupon friendly. Great to have managers like you in place!

  26. mm

my rite aid only printed one of the up rewards 🙁 When I asked I was told it was b/c one was free so you wouldn’t get the up reward for that one.

    • leftusafor3

that should not happen. Call 1-800-RiteAid and they will mail you your up reward promptly.

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

First Rite Aid I went to said I could only use 1 NYC coupon since the other item was FREE, So I went to another one and was able to use 2 NYC coupon with no problems.
