Want a cute (and affordable) way to personalize your Christmas gifts? Then check out this offer from Moo.com. For a limited time, Moo.com is offering up 50 FREE business cards (+ $6 shipping). Now you may be thinking…I have no need for business cards. However, consider making these cards to use as personalized gift tags for your holiday gifts. Even better…each of the 50 free business cards can have a different uploaded image! That means you could upload all different images of your kids, pets, home etc. and essentially end up with 50 unique cards that can be used as gift tags. And if you don’t have any personal pics that you want use, be sure to check out all of the fun ready made packs (see below…gotta love the scissors šŸ˜‰ ) and/or text cards that you can make.

You’ll also have the opportunity to upload a second image and/or text on the back side of the card. I plan on writing something like the text below…

Please keep in mind that you will need to pay $6 shipping which mean each tag is essentially costing 12¢ plus Moo.com will have a small ad that runs across the bottom of the card. Shhhh….I plan to snip off this ad prior to attaching the cards to my gifts. Check out this example below (with my niece and 2 nephews) that my sis created in a matter of minutes…

Here’s what you need to do to create your own business cards…

* Head on over to Moo.com
* Click on the “Order 50 FREE Business Cards” button in the bottom right corner
* Click on “Start Making a Free Pack”
* You can then choose to upload your own images (up to a total of 50) or you can opt to choose a ready-made pack or make text cards
* Follow the directions to add your images and/or designs to the cards
* When you get to the preview image page, be sure to check standard (which includes the lovely Moo advertisement) and more importantly, makes the cards free.
* You will then be directed to a page where you can ad an additional image/text to the back side of the card (if you plan to snip the Moo advertisement off, keep this in mind when you are creating the back side)
* Your final steps will be to preview your cards, choose your paper type (both of which are free) and then head to checkout and choose $6 shipping

Be sure to come back and let us know what sort of fun cards you created!

I know this is slightly off subject but has anyone received their free Starbucks business cards that they were offering a while back? I’ve never received mine and was wondering if anyone had got theirs. šŸ™‚

    • Rebaby

Ha! I nearly forgot about those. Nope, I never got mine.

    • C Thayn

Didn’t get those and wonder if that was some sort of scam for info.

      • Betsy

Never got mine either! I did get my $10 and $5 Starbucks giftcards from mamapedia though.

  2. Michele

The cards are really nice and would make great labels for holiday gifts, but I really don’t like the advertisement on the bottom so I don’t think I’ll be ordering. Thanks anyway.

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

These are soooo cute! My hubby, and I were going to do Christmas pictures as cards this year but I may just order these instead and put them in an actual card instead of doing the expensive Walgreens/Cvs ones. Awesome idea, and big money saver for those of us who want to send a pic for Christmas!

    • Laura

Jackie read my mind.. i was thinking the same thing. Saving some money doing this instead of CVS/Wags/Walmart Photo Cards.. and snipping off the bottom of the advertisement! Brilliant.. thanks!!!

      • Angela

This is business card size, plus you’ll cut off a portion. Not really much of a Christmas card to me?

        • Valerie P

They would be more like gift tags! šŸ™‚ Which is nice to label all of your holiday gifts!

  4. Janice

you know..these would be cute to add to the handmade presents (cookies, etc) for neighbors, teachers, etc…)…I think that’s what I’m going to do!! Cute..just hope it doesn’t cut off the kids pics..hmmm..

  5. Misty

I was really thinking about getting these also, mainly for labels for Christmas gifts. However, I noticed when I was previewing them right before ordering that the advertisement at the bottom takes up some of the picture so by cutting it off some of them might not look right… šŸ™

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You can edit, and crop, so it dosent take off anything you dont want it to!

I love to get these bus. card freebies. I made some “thank you” cards for my toddler to “sign” with a crayon.

They seem to be having issues with the site once you get to the payment info. Ill keep trying but it is doing some funny stuff.

This site is experiencing MAJOR problems – this from their Facebook Page:

Itā€™s not often that the MOO Tech team write an entry for the blog, but the past 36 hours have been rather ā€œinterestingā€ for us, and we wanted to let you know why.

Our site has been under a sustained DDOS attack since 8.30pm (UTC) on Monday.

For the non-technical folks among you this means that someone has been trying to take moo.com off the air by sending huge amounts of internet traffic at our servers. If youā€™re interested in the details of a DDOS you can read all about it here. To help give you an indication of the scale of the attack, weā€™ve received somewhere in the order of one hundred million nefarious requests in the last 24 hours!

Whilst the attackers might have more than 15,000 machines at their disposal, we only have one Mike (our Systems Admin superstar). For now it would seem that weā€™re winning in our effort to keep moo.com online so you can place your orders, but weā€™re not counting our chickens just yetā€¦

If youā€™re currently on the site and making some stickers or cards, weā€™d recommend you make use of our ā€˜Saveā€˜ feature. This will ensure that at each step of creating your cards, your images and details of your order will be saved.

We donā€™t know how long the attack will last, but you can rest assured weā€™re working tirelessly to keep the site on the air, and at no point has the security of your payments been breached.

Thereā€™s not too much more we can tell you at this time, but we wanted to let you know that weā€™re doing everything we can to resolve this as quickly as humanly possible!

I’ve ordered cards from here before. They are nice quality and would make great TAGS for Holiday presents.

I was able to complete my order and am SO excited!!! My husband and I are hoping to adopt a baby (we are currently completing our homestudy). I made my cards into “waiting couple calling cards” with our photos and contact info. I plan to place a few around town (train station, etc.) You never know….. Thanks, Collin!

These would make great (albeit small) cards to use in a personalized deck of cards, to be used for all sorts of various family games. Think “Go Fish” or “Memory” or “Old Maid” (ha! wouldn’t you hate to be the old maid!). Just upload 2 to 4 of the same picture until you hit 50. It would add to the cost, but put it on cute paper and laminate to make it bigger and durable. Thanks for the idea, Colin! I might need to post this one on my blog…!

  11. Kiley Taunton

Yay!! I was able to place 2 orders! One to my business and one to my home! Plus in each transaction I threw in the 10 card sample pack…so that’s 60 cards free X2=120 cards for 12.00 shipped!! Plus I ordered the mini cards in one order and used the promo code “WPDOCTORS” and got an additional 10% off the mini cards! I’ve gotten in the habit of google-ing promo codes for the sites I’m buying from…I’ve got nothing to lose, only savings to gain! Go ME!! Can’t wait to pass out my new business cards!
